HAS THIS HALF-CENTURY OLD GOVERNMENT FOUND ITS SOUL YET?

Remember the FOUR TONY(s) in my life (here)? Roaming the blogs this morning I found this gem that has to be shared. The author is Tony G, who is also the infamous author of the award-winning one-line-essay on "A Football Match".......'Big storm, match postponed.' Tony hosts "The Stand-Up Philosopher". Ever so often whenever I need an upper, I will visit his blog for motivation and inspiration. Sometimes when I don't see anything new, I send him a dirty look across cyberspace. Here is his gem:

If There Is Light In Our Soul.

Is life FAIR? It should be but its not. Its more difficult to see what's fair then what's unfair. The current circus-like situation in the country (politically, socially, religiously and in the economy) is appalling.

There is an ancient Chinese saying that goes like this:
If there is light in the soul,
There will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person,
There will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house,
There will be order in the nation.
If there is order in the nation,
There will be peace in the world.
--Chinese Proverb

Let me take it from..'There will be order in the nation'.. There is order in the nation only if there is harmony in the house, and there will only be harmony in the house if there is beauty in the person, and there can only be beauty in the person if there is light in the soul.

There is no order in the nation because we do not see fairness; fairness in distribution of wealth and power, in justice, in love, in freedom of religious practices, speech and thought. And there are people in our country who stand up against these unfairness. Who do it without fear or favour. With gumption and valour. To these champions of fairness and justice lie our only hope to put our nation in order.

Robert Kennedy once said, 'Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope.'

That's what we need. Our country is in desperate need of revival, of moral, spiritual, political and economic. There can be no justice if there is no fairness and all virtue, Aristotle says, is summed up in dealing justly.

We are in this mire of uncertainty because the lawmakers that run our country lack the very character to be fair and just. There is no light in their souls therefore no beauty in their persons and that's why there is no harmony in the house and therefore no order in the nation.

THANK YOU TONY.

No Light there is Darness
No Beauty it is Hideous
No Harmony there is Discord
No Order there is Evil

Cheers to Tony and zorro!
May they cleanse our land of all evil.

how can there be light when everyone in the government have sold their soul to the devil for a quick bucks?

If a soul existed, one would have awaken from years of unproductive slumber and immediately start off on a right footing.

If a soul existed, one would have paid the commission as promised, and a young mother need not have died.

If a soul existed, an octogenarian who sowed the seeds of decay should have seen the light in his twilight and instead reversed his misdeeds.

To sum it all.

The restless plights of a nation hanging on the empty scrotum of a liar still basking in the glory of a false mandate.

When mamak sold his soul to the dark forces in order to rape the wealth of the land for 22 years, he was not bothered about the future of the land.

He did everything in his powere because the others in the coalition were only interested in the crumbs from his table. Through the MSM which he controlled with an iron fist, he was able to portray himself as the saviour of the Malays and the beacon of promoting Malaysia as another Asian success story.

In his greed for power, he screwed up the judiciary, plundered the wealth of the nation and highjacked the petronas ringgit for his mega projects. He was not bothered about the future. He just wanted to have his day.

He removed all his opponents by hook or crook and placed mongrel puppets in their place so he could do as he pleased. He is no better than the African tyrants like his alter ego, Robert Mugabe.

Even with his days being numbered by his Maker, he has not repented for all his evil doings. This beautiful country is in shambles today largely because of him.

Hope historians record him for posterity for what he is, an incorrigible recalcitrant. They should not hesitate to call a spade no less than a spade.

To Tony & Zorro,

There is not a wee glimmer of light in their souls.

For they have no souls to light, those arseholes.

And, as every ones knows, the only place the sun never shines is upon an arsehole.
