ONE WAS BAD ENOUGH! NOW THERE ARE THREE SABAHAN JUDAS ISCARIOTS

During my recent stay in hospital I spent a lot of time willing myself to wellness by thinking positive thoughts thru reading. One morning  a patient next to me asked if he could use my laptop to go into Free Malaysia Today which I seldom log on to. Minutes later I heard him bellow out, “These bastards will never change.” THIS was what brought about the rant!
I later read the piece and promised my ward-mate that I would give these three a piece of my mind when I am discharged. He smsed me this morning and asked for what I promised. Here it is brother.
Enough is enough……should we abandon Sabah…..should we waste effort on a lost case? How can we help people who do not want our help. Lately we have witnessed some gesticulations from over there. Now I realized that they were not sending semaphore signals……they were blowing semaphoric ass kisses to us from across the South China Sea.
It is an acknowledged fact that leap frogging had its origin there in Sabah from the time of Tun Mustaphar. For a hectare here and more hectares there the Sabah politicians would negotiate their souls. Onward Christian soldiers? Balls! These were/are mercenaries. They closed their eyes and ears during Project M. We heard insignificant whimpers but no loud remonstrations….because they were numbed into dumbness. I once thumped a guy in front of me for scratching his ass during the singing of the National Anthem. I suppose being dumb is equivalent to the scratching!
Is Sabah a place where they pay you a thousand ringgit for an ass kiss and 50 cens for your soul? A piece of ass-wipe cost more these days, no?
Once people said: Give me liberty or give me death. Now they say: Make me a slave, just pay me enough! Is there a parallel? The saddest thing about selling out is just how cheaply some of us do it for.
As always Confucius was right when he said: “The superior man understands what is right; the inferior man understands what will sell.” Selling out is what you do when you’re afraid. Afraid to lose those goodies and deliriously coveting in UMNO swivel, grinning proudly to be labeled the safe-deposit of BN!

 Just look at their satisfied look….you get that for sitting too long on your ass.
 “A person with no back bone, devoid of any self-respect or sense of direction in their life will often conclude that ass kissing is a wise career choice whereas that is the path where they eventually get what's coming to them, a shitty end.” I just paraphrased a John Frank. But that was the choice of Sabahans all along when they chose their leaders with their butts and…………. stooping! WHAT WILL IT BE THIS TIME AROUND BECAUSE THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE ANOTHER TIME!
SABAH, SABAH, PATIENCE! Lancheow! I have run out of this commodity. One Judas was enough, now there are THREE! All fart fungus!

Parting shot: Just wondering what these TRIO will pray for when they attend Easter Services tomorrow? Redemption?

UPDATE

Is this the REDEMPTION they prayed for at service this Easter Sunday?

THIS TIME ITS DIFFERENT - FAREWELL BROTHERS.

My blog normally remains silent for a few days to honor the memory of a friend who has passed on.

But this time, I break my three weeks’ silence to mourn the loss of a dear friend, ZAINON AHMAD  who tirelessly continued to speak, to write and to publish whatever [he pleased] on our Malaysianess. Social change, he covered in a folksy, chatty style. It is my belief that he either left New Strait Times, or was edged out as its Editorial Consultant in 2001 because he steadfastly stood for freedom of the press and thus to work independently, participating in the events, rather than just watching and reporting and right till the end was convinced that it was still possible for the press to effectively hold the government accountable.
Our friendship began in the early 70’s when he was in University Malaya and was moonlighting as a volunteer liaison officer to an international team during the glory days of the Merdeka Tournament. I was in the transport secretariat and our duties meant close inter-facing with each other. When I had problem communicating with one of the bus drivers, Zainon solved our problem with his adeptness in the Tamil language.   He later surprised me by being able to recite the Lords Prayer and the Hail Mary. He revealed that he came from a Brother School in Kedah and his father told him to do whatever is the practice in the school. One particular Sunday he asked me to double up for him as he had some urgent work. That urgent work was printing notes for sale to undergraduates for extra income. After the tournament I gave him the good news that my Principal, Brother Bernard formerly teaching in his former school in Kedah was willing to help defray expenses for his studies. He was allowed to use only at weekends our Gestetner printing machine and ink but he had to supply his own reams of paper. That went on until he graduated.
He went on to teach and I only met up with him at one of our “No buy, No lies” boycott campaign in 2007 against Main Stream Media. He was then with the Sun.  He said he liked “ABOUT ME” on my blog sidebar and encouraged me to carry on the fight for a better Malaysia. We last met at Raju’s. He, also a pipe smoker, got a whiff of my tobacco and came outside looking for me. More HERE.

Today, I also mourn the passing away of another friend ALAN ZECHARIA of RTM. I met Alan when I was doing news reading for Berita Daerah in the mid 60s during the time of  Adrain Hendroff, Vicki Skelchy, Constance Haslam and Bosco D’Cruz.

ONE COUNTRY, TWO POLICE AGENCIES?

Yes, I am referring to Malaysia! Surprise? Well, many hold this to be spot on! I too believe, that we have two policing agencies – one to take care of the powers that be, that be BN if you must know; and the other to take care of us the rakyat.
Go figure it out HERE.

and………
and………
and………
I hope that we have ONE strong ARMY
to protect us from this King of Sulu.
(I refrain from using calling him Sultan
as this would bring disrepute
to our brother Sultans.)

NO TIT FOR TAT PLEASE

Our men died with honor, let us continue to honor their memory, their bravery and their self-sacrifice with dignity. I have restrained myself from writing about Lahad Datu because our government was dragging their feet. Too many questionable tales were floating around cyberspace whilst our leaders seemed to have kept their tails between their legs. The  leaders (in the government) - PM was too busy with BRIM, KRIM, DRIM and all kinds of RIM; Defence Minister was undecided on how to airlift our forces into LD and Home Minister reportedly said that the men were neither terrorists, nor militants whilst the whole cabinet was looking for the favorite scapegoat, undoubtedly being Anwar. And our Armed Forces and Police chiefs were lamely reticent…. waiting for orders when they should be advising the GOM. Only after the terrorists fired the first shot did our leaders fly into the conflict area to dislodge their pea-shooting politically manufactured rants. But I was particularly incensed with what this Gen Zaini, the Fraud of Sauk, commented in the early days of the conflict. I am glad that Blogger KTEMoc gutted this racist guy who unashamedly accepted the Bravery Medal (SP) when all the groundwork was done by ASP Razak. HERE

What next? Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told reporters: "We will ensure that no Filipino terrorists escape from our dragnet and we want them dead or arrested," he told reporters. This is a hateful and vindictive rant. Of course, the mutilation of our fallen Malaysians is despicable and cannot be accepted. But are we on a tit for tat trip? Will the families of our fallen heroes condone that we might do to them what they did to our boys? Article 3 of the Geneva Convention must be observed if we want to come out of this conflict admirably with our heads held high in honor of our fallen brothers and their loved ones. This much they deserved.

Article 3: In the case of armed conflict not of an international character occurring in the territory of one of the High Contracting Parties, each party to the conflict shall be bound to apply, as a minimum, the following provisions:

1. Persons taking no active part in the hostilities, including members of armed forces who have laid down their arms and those placed hors de combat by sickness, wounds, detention, or any other cause, shall in all circumstances be treated humanely, without any adverse distinction founded on race, colour, religion or faith, sex, birth or wealth, or any other similar criteria.

To this end the following acts are and shall remain prohibited at any time and in any place whatsoever with respect to the above-mentioned persons:

(a) Violence to life and person, in particular murder of all kinds, mutilation, cruel treatment and torture;

(b) Taking of hostages;

(c) Outrages upon personal dignity, in particular, humiliating and degrading treatment;

(d) The passing of sentences and the carrying out of executions without previous judgment pronounced by a regularly constituted court affording all the judicial guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples.

God forbid that we have a Chemical Ali lurking in our midst? A later blog posting on this might create some awareness of possible possibilities!

OF COURSE THEY WERE THERE TO SAY ABU…..

"Dr Mahathir says if Anwar becomes the PM, he will sell the country to the Chinese. Najib says he can understand the Chinese in BN but the Chinese in the DAP, they are the worst. For me, I have the most experience - with the Chinese in Gerakan, the Chinese in MCA and I am proud to work with the Chinese in DAP because they have principles and integrity. And this is something the Malays must understand. We cannot develop the country with this type of prejudice. We cannot raise our country with this sort of prejudice. We have to live with new realities."

"We reject Malay racism, we won't allow that to be replaced by Chinese racism or Indian racism. We will have to create a new Malaysian awareness and spirit," Anwar tells the 50,000 audience at PadangKotaLama last night. As a parting shot he tells Mahathir to SHADDUP!HERE

WAH LAH WEI……FLASHBACK TO 16 DECEMBER 2011

Back from UH this afternoon I read THIS. It triggered! I remembered writing about this……..

In a blog posting on 16 December 2011 I wrote about the impending 9Jan 2012 verdict on Anwar:
If the thunder does not strike immediately, it will eventually, circa 1998, and I believe it was a horrible ending that we do not wish on anyone, unless divine providence takes over the driver’s seat.....and the full script of this disgusting episode is exposed. The day will come, believe me, and when th3e script-writers are exposed, that will be the end of UMNO/BN, Najib, the Tun and their train of parasites. Just be patient.....it could be before GE13, God willing.

As is always usual, I get my fair share of taunts from the Government-paid coolies who are paid to monitor my blog. I was reliably informed by an MCMC insider……a niece of a former student…..that a few guys are assigned to read and monitor this blog. No worry, this does keeps me going…….for a better Malaysia.

Too much beer, izzit? that your analytical mind becomes clouded.
2 years of court hearing and 3 weeks to issue a judgement. 3 weeks is a damn long time considering all that needs to be done is to put a date on the judgement and sign it. But hey, if I was to be the one to ink the judgement, I'd go for my Christmas and New Year break first. Ask for forgiveness from the Maker.Then deal with this after my holidays.
Oh ... by the way ... my crystal ball says ... GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY! Anwar WILL be found GUILTY!
And let me also say what others fear to say ... they will drag Anwar to jail immediately and beat the crap out of him that even if he is later freed, he would be such a vegetable that he could not pick up a spoon to feed himself or remember his name and will pee in his pants. They will say Anwar fell off the steps in jail and likes to bang his own head against the wall. He will no longer be a political liability. Believe me ... that is Anwar's fate!

A PASSAGE FROM INDIA......JUST JUSTUS

Dear Uncle Bernard, I picked this up whilst traversing Mother India over the past two months. I thought this could interest your readers no end. I was unable to identify the author, but that is not important unless he makes capital of this. Until I come back from Sabah here is wishing you good health….heard from your FB that you have not been well………..

 A fantastic read. Hope you read and understand the message before its too late. Or is it already too late?
A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves

Act 1:
Let me tell you a story about an old man who lived in a small village somewhere that does not matter. It all began when the man’s sons came to him and told him that some people from the neighboring village had stolen a chicken from their farm. The old man told his sons to go after the thieves and recover the chicken.

 The sons said, “Father, it’s only one chicken. We have hundreds of chicken. One won’t make a difference.” The old man said, “Do what you please.”
A few days later, the thieves stole a goat. Once again the old man told his sons to not let them get away with it. The sons said that they have dozens of goats and it’s not worth the trouble. The next week it was a horse. Once again the sons rationalized it away saying that they still had six horses that the farm needs.
Finally, the next week the sons came back to report to the old man and said, “Father, our sister has been abducted. What shall we do?” The old man said, “It’s too late. You should have recovered the chicken. Now there’s nothing you can do.”
* * *
Act 2:
I heard this story from an expat from New Zealand who runs a very successful school in Singapore. David told me that in the early years of Lee Kuan Yew’s government, a minister was suspected of having taken a bribe. People said that since the minister was a close associate of LKY, in all likelihood the man would get away with it.
But as it happened, LKY had a brief chat with the minister one afternoon. The next day the minister went out with a bang — he put a bullet in his head.
Singapore is one of the least corrupt nations in the world. LKY’s policy is simple: zero tolerance for corruption. That’s so because he himself is incorruptible and therefore does not tolerate corruption. The wages of public corruption is death. People know it and act accordingly.
* * *
Act 3:
India’s appointed prime minister is Dr Manmohan Singh. Under his watch, the most egregiously blatant instances of public corruption have taken place. His ministers and other office holders have been involved in acts of public malfeasance that are stunningly incredible — but for at least a significant segment of Indian voters, it is quite alright. They appear to take it as if it’s nothing out of the ordinary. The rulers are going about the rape of the land and the people just lay back and supinely accept it.
We are talking figuratively about rape but Dr Singh’s misgovernance has descended into literal rape. Not just rape, gang rape. Not just gang rape, it has finally hit (one hopes) the rock bottom into murderous gang rape.
The 23-year old woman who was gang raped in a New Delhi bus died in a hospital in Singapore.
* * *
Act 4:
They first stole a chicken.
The Congress government under Jawaharlal Nehru was involved in corruption. The news papers reported it. Nehru responded saying that the reporters were being silly since corruption is a global phenomenon and there’s nothing to get all excited about.
Then they stole a goat.
Nehru’s daughter nationalized many sectors of the economy, thus making public office attractive to the most criminally corrupt. The people of India did not disapprove. They in fact voter her back to power.
The stage was set for horse thieves.
* * *
Act 5:
Some people started waking up to the reality. They realized that somehow the system was not working. They heard the call from a chosen few and gathered to register their protest. The government followed the time-worn strategy of attack being the best form of defense. They sent in their baton-wielding cops and the crowds — leaders too — beat a hasty retreat.
The lesson the appointed prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh’s government learned was that it does not take a whole lot to put the people in their place — the place of course being that the people in the government are the rulers and the people are serfs.
For around a century, a few hundred million Indians were the serfs of a few thousand British. Now it is different. India is under self-rule.
An Italian, Antonia Maino aka Sonia Gandhi, and her bunch led by Digvijaya Singh are ruling about a thousand million Indians.
Well, perhaps it is not all that different. Though Maino’s father was a fascist. That could make the British Raj 2.0 a little more vicious than the British Raj of pre-1947.
* * *
Act 6:
It tickles me no end when I hear talk about India being a free country and a democracy with universal adult franchise. Every adult has the vote and therefore is in some sense responsible for the kind of government. In my opinion,India is a kakistocracy — government by the most corrupt and the least principled. Indians freely elect these people. And among the elected are criminals who have been charged (and many convicted) of rape and murder.
The guys who gang raped the unfortunate woman on the bus in New Delhi share at least some of the characteristics of the law makers of India: their criminality. A significant numbers of Indians vote for these kinds of criminals.
* * *
Act 7:
I hear that the despicably dishonest appointed prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh’s government moved to shut down protests in New Delhi by closing down a few metro train stations. Perhaps the people will back down and go home.
If they don’t back down, I suppose the unfathomably dishonest cretin, the appointed prime minister Dr Singh will probably escalate the situation till we see tanks on the streets of New Delhi.
The sister has been abducted.
And if I were a betting man, I would place the bet that the people are not going to do anything about it. Come next elections they will vote for Antonia Maino aka Sonia Gandhi and her henchmen.
* * *
Act 8:
Antonia Maino aka Sonia Gandhi and her gang of vile henchmen are unprincipled criminals. But they are not stupid. Their moves are calculated to push the boundaries and they know precisely what they can get away with. They know precisely how much they can steal and yet be elected. They know precisely how many backs they can break with their police lathi-charge and still the people will not lynch them.
Indians have an amazing capacity for tolerating injustice.
It was an American, born a slave but who understood the dynamics of slavery, who put it best over a century ago. Frederick Douglass (1818 – 1895), the renowned American abolitionist wrote, “Find out just what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them . . . The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”
The rulers are not unintelligent. They would not be where they are if they were not the most accomplished criminals. They make the laws, don’t you know. They dictate the terms.
They control the press. The press provides the cover for them and they in turn protect those in the press that do their bidding. The Ghoses, the Sardesais, the Dutts — these are not unimportant players in this sordid play. They are complicit in the figurative rape of India and are handsomely rewarded for their prostitution.
* * *
The Final Act 9:
No doubt for a few days the twitterati will be screaming bloody murder. A few thousand will go on candlelight vigils. In a few weeks, another distraction will occupy the talking heads on TV. Cricket will take over the collective psyche. And of course the sordid stories of Bollywood shakers will move the public to other concerns.
Talking of journalists, I am reminded of what the legendary American radio broadcaster Edward R Murrow (1908 – 1965) said:
“A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves.”
Yes, India does have a government of wolves because India is a nation of sheep. The tyrants like Dr Singh know well precisely how much oppression the Indian public is willing to endure.
The rape of the land and the people — literally and figuratively — will continue……and find a parallel here?
ABU then unless you prefer
to be ABUsed

YOU SNEAKY BUGGER S W WONG!

"The rise of cybertroopers have made the social media unreliable. Cybertroopers are liars, thus making liars out of social media," said English-language daily The Star’s executive editor Wong Sai Wan at a forum in Kuala Lumpur today on the new role of media in the coming national polls.

Was Wong Sai Wan actually referring to THIS group of neophyte bloggers?

…….and of course WSW is unaware of these alpha bloggers from Sarawak:
