"WILL HEADS ROLL?" CAPT. YUSOF aka The Ancient Mariner,ASKED.

Last night I attended the DAP Initiated forum on the PKFZ Scandal. I came away further scandalized by the blatant buggery and cover-ups that will unfold. Do expect snail-paced machinations by the plethora of task-forces already in place.

Captain Yusof, former superintendent pilot and pioneer GM of Westport, postponed his birthday celebration and beggged-off an ivitation by FT Minister Raja Non Chik who hosted a dinner for some bloggers. Instead he chose to speak at this forum. In his blog he asked: Will heads roll? HERE.

Not here Captain Sir, not here in this country where if you are buddy-buddy with the Bench, you can even get away with the most heinous of crimes.....if you are on the right side of the divide.

No Captain Sir, heads will not roll. Heads will roll only in this country that our PM just paid a visit to.

In China, that is. Half your head will be blown off and your body organs sold off to the international black-market.

It would be a capital idea if the PM would take all Members of Parliament....ALL...let me emphasise, to China to get an idea of how they execute high profile cheats.

To add veracity here is Wikipedia's contribution on Execution in China - a relevant excerp:

China currently uses two methods of execution. The most common is execution by firearms, which uses an assault rifle to fire a single shot of an expanding hollow point bullet to the head.[citation needed] Lethal injection was introduced in 1997. It differs from its application in the U.S. in that it is carried out in fixed locations as well as in specially modified mobile execution vans. As lethal injection becomes more common, debate has intensified over the fairness of relying on lethal injection to execute high officials convicted of corruption while ordinary criminals get executed by firearms. It is public opinion in China that lethal injection is an easier way for the condemned to die.

In the past the government collected a "bullet fee" (子弹费) from the relatives of the condemned.[4]

Capital punishment in China can be politically or socially influenced. In 2003, a local court sentenced the leader of a triad organization to a death sentence with two years of probation. However, the public opinion was that the sentence was too light. Under public pressure, the supreme court of China took the case and retried the leader, resulting in a death sentence which was carried out immediately

Rates of execution

Considering the size of the Chinese population the relative number of executions in China is still large. Even by the confirmed numbers, the rate of executions in China (0.07 per 100,000 people) is higher than the United States (0.02 per 100,000) and Pakistan (0.05 per 100,000), though Iran (0.25 per 100,000) executes more prisoners per capita. Dui Hua Foundation declares that the true figures were higher; they estimate that China executed between 5000 and 6000 people in 2007, down from 10000 in 2005.[6]

The exact numbers of people executed in China is classified as a state secret; occasionally death penalty cases are posted publicly by the judiciary, as in certain high-profile or politically embarrassing cases. One such example was the execution of former State Food and Drug Administration director Zheng Xiaoyu, which was confirmed by both state television and the official Xinhua News Agency[7]

Yes, one more thing I learnt (above)....your family has to pay for the bullet.

A STUDY-TOUR FULLY SPONSORED BY THE RAKYAT

I am convinced that that would be a fruitful mission, our PM taking ALL Parliamentarians to get an in depth study of execution China-style. The rakyat will willingly sponsor for this worthwhile study-tour. Yes, we will also pay for the Toyo guy.....but not his children and maid.

And who else?

Sir,
Absolutely "hit the nail on the head" with this. There has to be TOTAL committment by the powers that be to ensure that heads roll, figuratively at least(?) if not literally, in all areas of abuse of public funds. This must be seen to be done by the AG, Police, the Judiciary and the media. The names of those involved must be made public, titles revoked and assets acquired be confiscated. Shame them publically. If there is no such committment and follow through, then we are all wasting our time trying....., just avoid stadiums and govt buildings, highways, high rise buildings, brdges, schools and shopping centres. How do we get this committment and follow through? Wishful thinking?

Equally, we should show no fear or grant any favours.

The highest profile 'rat' caught up in govt crackdown on corrupt practices was no other than Shanghai vice-mayor Liu Zhihua and head of the biggest property development in China, Capital Land(GLC listed in HK) chairman Liu Xiaguang.

They don't come bigger than this two, known associates of former President Jiang Zemin and ranking cadres but to no avail to save themselves.

Rightly, that should be the way. If the same standards were to apply in M'sia - UMNO and all underlings in BN would be headless.

zorro,

dont forget the BN judges and those in cahoots to rob Perakians of their choice of govt. oops, include the mamak-zambry-gandhi-king and thats for using the iccons name in vain.

Sorry, no matter how bad one may think the current lot in UMNO/BN are, with the rare exception of a select few, they are not in the same barbarically clinical and cold-bloodedly calculating velociraptor-league as many in the the current falsely branded "socialist"(!?) Government of the "People's"(!?) Republic of China.

This patently false "People's" Government and its powerful crony ally, the "People's Liberation(!?)" Army heartlessly murdered and slaughtered in cold-blood several thousands of its best young, innocent and defenceless people around Tiananmen Square between April and June 1989 and to this day denies this crime against humanity and against its very own children/citizens, and in fact actively conceals the deliberate massacre from the vast majority of the good but kept-ignorant Chinese people themselves.

Such hypocritical "People's" Governments and their liberty-destroying "Liberation" armies - who are only interested in amassing more and more personal, political and economic power and wealth through fear and coercion of its own citizens and the domination and subjugation of other free peoples and their nations through the immoral application of powerful military might - are evil monsters who are ultimately dangerous to all free democracies and freedom-loving human beings, and not just to the downtrodden and unfree Chinese people "over there" in China or to Taiwan or Tibet.

Occupied Tibet and the continued incarceration of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi are two classic, illustrative cases of how effectively this evil monster exerts its insidious domineering power over others.

And what gets me most about this false China and its false words and branded names of "People's" and "socialist" and "Liberation" this and that is the unfailing continuous rhetoric you hear from its many pseudo-"leaders" about its supposed (pseudo again) stance on non-interference in the internal affairs of other nations, when in reality none interferes in a more deadly way in others' internal affairs and civil liberties than it itself does.

So the next time someone anywhere, whether of Chinese ethnic origin or not, decides to wrap this patently false China in glowing hallowed ribbons, please keep in mind won't you its (still current) mindset, hidden agenda and dangerous catchphrase motto, apparently attributed to your....er...warm and cuddly and thoroughly friendly "comrade" the now-dead Deng Xiaoping: To Get Rich Is Glorious!

Presumably at all costs it seems. End of today's unplanned rant/polemic!

Anna Brella,
Johanssm,

I am glad that this posting generated the comments that I had hoped for. On June 9 I posted two postings. I refer you to the first:
NOT MIA......IF THEY CAN MAKE HYPOCRITICAL TRIP TO CHINA, I'D RATHER CELEBRATE A BIRTHDAY.

That should sum up my thinking of China indirectly. I have been offered numerous opportunities by family to visit China. I have never. I do not visit a country where they mow down their people, takeover Tibet, support the Burmese junta and african states like Sudan etc. China is a meddler. I am Chinese by accident of birth, not choice. I am no China-lover as such. I admire the ordinary people of china; I praise them for their will to survive under their repressive leaders. It is their leaders that I have no time for...and yet our leaders suck up to them with visits. Has Obama made a trip there yet? If China is what it is today (the good side that is)it is the collective effort of its resilient common citizens. Mark my word, there will be an uprising - the corked boiling kettle will explode!

Shameless BN bastards will surely wriggle their way out of this sordid affair, with the connivance of the judiciaty and state machinery. The only way to get rid of these croaches is to vote these bastards out in the next election.

I will save enough money to buy bull..s for those corrupted ones BUT first we need international court of justice, to be fair to all people.

Maybe by then more than 70% of them will be charged. What will happen to a parliament when majority are not in the house ? Not enough quorum and govt comes to stand still, what to do ?

Agree with NSTman.
There MUST be a change of Fed government in 2013 or sooner.
PR must be given a chance to be proven right OR wrong.
That is the RIGHT of ALL Malaysians!
