...AND THAT BILL GOT PASSED BECAUSE OF....

YOU 33 Pakatan Rakyat were blatantly irresponsible.

YOU 33 disappointed those who put their FAITH in YOU.

YOU 33 should have your pay confiscated by your respective party.

YOU 33 are beginning to smell like the other side.

Will somebody out there give us a list of the 33 and I will publicly humiliate them - my way like the fart room.

Once we know who they are, we will hound them and breathe down their necks.

Here was a chance for YOU to be counted and YOU played truant because I don't remember any disaster visiting the country.

JUST DON'T

FORGET

WHO

PUT

YOU

IN

PARLIAMENT.

I just don't wish to waste any more words on you dismal 33!**

YB Nurul Izzah, Lembah Pantai MP has started her maternity leave starting from 23 June 2009.

Prior to that, she has been attending every session, her questions have been debated by her, and has even debated on all the bills presented.

Please read the Parliament Hansard as proof of her attendance.

Her maternity leave has received the endorsement from the Speaker and the Secretary of the Dewan Rakyat.

Yup - and all Anwar could say was that they were out to persecute him!!
But there's always a second reading, isn't it?

Check how many of them were PAS and how many from PKR!

Then you know if these guys were more keen about the so-called unity government and hence stayed away to get rid of Anwar later through this bill, or if these was any other agenda.

Meanwhile, Najib has started the talk about unity government again!

Its is the news!

Is someone under pressure because a number of special draws have already been conducted and ulterior objective of the draws (like results achieved in Perak) have not materialised?

Despite the enticements already deposited in the land of the Union jack and verified by one of the person who was recently there and who wanted to be a main party in the unity discussions?

Even yesterday (23/6) these was another special draw!
How many more in the pipeline?

The bosses of PKR, PAS and DAP should apologizes to the rakyat and tell the rakyat who these 35 MP are and the reason they are not in Parliament. They all should be in the warning list and if ever they make another mistake rakyat will not accept them as MP anymore, not in the next Ge and not ever! The 35 'kaki ponteng', you have been warned and rakyat are watching you....! If you can't protect the Rakyat, we'll get someone else...!

Yes master they should be answerable for their actions,as sometimes power tends to screw people's mind.

Yup agreed, so disappointing. They are really behaving like a shadow government... disappearing into the shadow.. sigh. I didn't want to blog about it least the shadow government also put me in ISA and Sedition Act when they come to power (am I dreaming or what?)

Get the shame list pronto, Z.

Republican Reds said...

Even if the 35 showed up it will be pointless as BN will call their other MP's pronto, therefore they will still passed that stupid bill. The only way to rectify this is for PR to take over the government as soon as possible.

Yes Zorro, We RAKYAT want to know the 35 NAMES of PR MPs. They have forgotten who elected them to be MPs. We RAKYAT want to FUCK them also and we wil never elect them in the next GE.

What a bunch of bloody a--holes.

You pin you hopes on them and they let you down. Ptuui!

Unknown said...

Please can we get the list of the 35 PR absentees.
We need to ask them to account and if their reasons are unacceptable they should be blacklisted for GE13!

Thanks

Go and publish all the 35 names. The voters have a right to know. Get their names out in bold print. And if they feel slighted by this publicity, they can tender their resignation for fresh by-elections to be called. These 35 MPs are a BIG letdown. Just a shade better in namme only than Hee.

That's highly irresponsible and downright disappointment to the electorates who supported and voted them to office!

To you 35 Pakatan Rakyat Parliamentarians, we put you there to do a proper job and not to be compacent! If attending Parliament sitting is not important, what is?

Yeah... didn't those wankers know the dirty DNA bill was going to the vote? Were they deliberately trying to sabotage the de facto Pakatan Rakyat supremo? This is an absolute OUTRAGE, bro! What's the point of voting them into parliament if they're just like their BN counterparts, makan gaji and play truant?

Anonymous said...

Question: If a MP was suspended from parliament by the speaker (say for wearing political armbands), do they still get to vote for a bill? Also, as of today, how many Pakatan MPs are suspended from attending the Dewan?

aZRoy said...

... what happened to those 35? kind to share?

Nurul and Gobind do not come into this loop. The other 33 have to account for their absence. If any of the 33 come up with any excuses we just hope those excuses dont make them look foolish. After 52 years we the rakyat know how to discern, yes?

forgive them? give them 2nd chance? waterFCUK!!?? don't messup with our trust.. you be gone and screw yorsef out from the House go 'balik kampung tanam kangkong'

Feel so let down. don't these guys know that their work for and on behalf on their constituents who voted them in is IN Parliament?? not talking to their constituents or walking down some alley way in the constituency when Parliament is on!!!! feel quite silly really!!

Anonymous said...

why should you come, and vote a bill that was pushed right into your throat? Why? As Parliamentarian, you are EXPECTED to pass GOOD and RESPONSIBLE Bill!....fully studied, debated, amended....and THAT BIll will be useful for the nation!

This Bill was RUSHED, in fact its repurcussion on the criminal laws will be adverse.....Rather than opposing it through voting (and makes you part of it, the process!), it is best for you to be absent (in protest!) sending a CLEAR SIGNAL to the IDIOTS who cook up that Bill that they are dastardly IRRESPONSIBLE, CHEATS and has EVIL intentions.

The so-called conspiracy to use it against Anwar is a mere mere mere speculation, written with evil reasons to create further animosity amongst the Pakatan fold which have clearly DISTANCED themselves from UMNO's Unity(?) Government......which is already history!

and when Najib says that IT IS A RELIGIOUS DUTY for Pas to be involved in UG talk, I asked him since when does the RELIGION of Islam was being practised by UMNO?....and on personal note, he wants to comment PI Bala's allegation on him and the baginda?....so much and so many man who claimed they ARE MUSLIMS and TALKED about Islam, without PRACTISING IT!...and Najib, WILL this DNA Bill be In LINE with the tenets, values and SPIRIT of Islam?.

People....THINK!

If these 35, errr... 33 don't know how to serve their rakyat, better resign & let others who are able to do it......!!!

Datuk Anwar should haul these 33 up & "fuck" them left, right & centre...!!

Parliment sitting is "NOT" everyday & that's when things get "passed" or to have a "shouting" match............!!!!

"DO NOT" listen to their excuses. These 33 shouldn't even give excuses at all...
They already "know" about this "sitting" so what bloody excuses are comming up.....??????

Perhaps there's a sabotage in the making....!!!
Why is Najib pushing so much on this "unity" issue....??????

I have a feeling of another "DRAMA" comming soon......!

These missing 33 "MUST" be looked into.
If not, it'll happen again....

As Parliamentarians they should know that new Bills can be passed with only a simple majority but existing ones in the constitution need a two-third majority for any changes deem necessary. There is no excuse for ignorance!

Yeah, list out the names of the 33 unless they have valid reasons not to attend Parliament on 23rd June 2009!

charis14 said...

If all the 33 were present or PR had the majority, would the vote have gone ahead then? It might have been postponed pending the call to BN MPs to attend.

While you are looking for the 33 who did not turn up for the DNA Bill, I am looking for the owner (MP) of Lexus RX350 Reg. No. PCH 8989 who was seen driving dangerously on NSE last Sunday night.

Anyone out there can help me?

While on the subject of crucial voting moments, could this happen if and when Perak State Assembly sits to decide on whether to dissolve itself? Why is Najib still not confident enough to do so since they are supposed to be having the majority? Unless they are still unsure of the status of the infamous 3.

Meanwhile, Lembaga Air Perak still has picture of Pak Lah and certain banks in Perak have yet to put up either MB's picture! The rakyat can seethe in anger while Najib's People First, Action Now remains a slogan only.

Ree said...

No way that this bill can be defeated. Rejection of a government bill is tantamount to a vote of No Confidence! Meaning Najib will have to go to Agong to dissolve parliament or tender his resignation.

The reality is, if more PR MPs turn up, so will more BN MPs. The BN whip will make sure of this, with some help of Speaker, of course. BN will need only 1 extra MP (as happened in this case).

Wah, this guy like some big time watch dog. Like a self proclaimed king maker..

Anyway, you all judge for yourself if this PR reps are sincere in what they do or are they just busy creating a mess to just advance their political ambitions.

Remember a few days ago, they brought a bunch of myanmar refugees. they know very well they are stateless, they know very well that this will put the innocent refugees in harms way, and true enough they are now arrested and may be deported. Some will be seperated from their family. Kids will lose their father or mother. And what do PR do? they move to the next flavour of the month. They have already utilised the refugees for their own benefit. Where were the PR reps when the refugees were arrested? yea , so 15 people from NGOs were outside the station, but where are the political parties that got them arrested?

Stop using others for your political will. Now in the case of refugees, it is the social workers that have to clean up your mess. They are the ones who will have to look after the kids whos parents are deported. They are the ones who will have to face this kids day in day out. Where are the PR politicians who got them arrested?
My guess is they too busy politicing about the next flavour of the month..

Still want to vote PR hmm?

pujangga said...

The bill got passed because...?

because the Parliament reps who were elected by the rakyat votes to pass the bill...

so? got a problem with democracy?

charis14 said...

I feel it is not 'defeatist attitude' but just being realistic. Also, the need to balance off against the bashing of the 33 who did not receive opportunity to explain their position lah.

i just want to ask, even if all PR MP turn up that day and defeat the bill, what is stopping BN to resubmit the bill later with a full attendance of MP from their side?

I think PR already know this is a war they cannot win. I guess better to concentrate on better alternative, right?

OpenUni Lecturer, you said:

"Wah, this guy like some big time watch dog. Like a self proclaimed king maker.. "

- He sure is one BIG time watch dog, and yeah aligned to no particular political party and you have issues with that?

Shame on you, rather than joining him with ideas to help make this country a better place to live for our children and their grandchildren, you are hiding behind that branding "Lecturer OpenUni"! - Who cares! In blogging fraternity, big titles(if you want me to refer yours) make no difference. It's what you can contribute! Actually you sound more like an idiot to me and I pity those who comes under your lecture!

First you tried to derail the subject of discussion here, then you attacked the messenger. To me you are nothing but one big ass-licking UMNO/BN-dog out to destroy those with good intention for betterment of this country.

Let those NGOs who feel they have been "victimised" by politicians take a platform and speak up and I like to hear where you fit in, Lecturer OpenUni!

"Still want to vote PR hmm?" - YES I will, you have any objection?

Ree said...

No Zorro.

I am not defeatist but realist.

This bill is questionable, no doubt. But being emotional for PR failing to stop it is a waste of time. No point in getting so emotional on something that is inevitable. The bill will pass simply because BN is the majority in the house. PR can bring all 33 and even Nurul Izzah with her baby. BN will just call in 35 MPs.

The passing of this bill is no fault of PR MPs. It is the fault of BN MPs, and those who voted them in power.

Anonymous said...

The 33 want the bill to be passed and deliberately played truant.

They want to see whether the bill is effective in curbing and solving criminal cases.

Don't blame them for a job well done.

Or could it be that they have become complacent?

Eitherway, none of them should miss even a single session, because they were the very ones highlighting the high absentee rates a few years back.

A GOOD MAN DOES NOTHING.

"...The bill will pass simply because BN is the majority in the house. PR can bring all 33 and even Nurul Izzah with her baby. ..." - Ree

This isn't a good case to illustrate invincibility neither can you call on the conscience of men called leaders of both side of the divide. In fact had the absent PR reps really "thought" about it, it was THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY to prove a point - the 35 PR MPs were thinking MPs much more than the BN MPs.

You can't call yourself a Member of Parliament without looking at the issues for discussion in the House then accordingly address your mind on its importance, IF you can at all distill any importance.

All that was needed was half a dozen PR MPs to defeat that one majority!!!

Whether you are a PR member, supporter or sympathizer, this point NEEDS TO BE DRIVEN HOME! It's the very essence that has driven our nation down into the dust!

It has better not be done ever again, if ever again this happens, there is something more sinister amongst ALL Malaysian MPs!
