KTgites, YOU GOTTA MAKE HISTORY TODAY

4:40PM

We are getting ready to move out to the Golf Club to monitor the results as they come in from Kasee, Lawrence and Vived. Stay close for the last lap.

4:30pm - half-hour before Polling ends.

EC Chairman's wish for a 90% voter turnout could be just a wish. Overall turnout is not as expected. I hope the sudden closure of roads and diversions have nothing to do with the below average turnout. Gut feel is that the phantoms might strike NOW......25 minutes to 5:00pm.

4:04PM
Harakah alert: "Putera Umno chief Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim was ‘caught' by PAS monitoring team trying to pass himself off as an election agent.

The report said that the incident happened this morning at 10.45am at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pusat Cahbang Tiga. Abdul Azeez was reportedly using a BN agent pass belonging to one Ibrahim Omar."

Of course this Mamak goon who bought a Phd. will deny or maybe swear like Najib and Saiful'

4:01PM

It has to be PAS.....now it is the question of MAJORITY.

Shall we get ready for a street-party?

3:39PM

DelCapo reported from Kg Cina: Overall turnout now 65%...chinese voters just hit 50%. Source DAP.

3.34pm

Viveg reporting

At the Sekolah Pasir Panjang polling station, voter turnout as at 2.30pm is about 70%. mostly elderly. Supporters there now mostly from PAS. Hardly any UMNO presence. However, the PAS pondok panas has just received an sms that 400 pengundi hantu UMNO are headed towards this polling station. Viveg is waiting there to keep us updated if there are any developments on this story.

The sms reads : mulai 3ptg, 400 skuad khas UMNO akn keluar mngundi yg diiringi pasokan khasBN, masuk pintu dpn/blkang, mng undi 4-5 tmpt-hrp kwln kslmtn kmas.arhn dato pa ali

The BLUE BLITZ with the SPECIAL BUNCH left to make a tour of the polling stations. They will report back irregularies observed or anything out of the ordinary. I had just finished chatting with Salmah who made the journey back from Muar to answer the "COME HOME" call.

+++++

Yesterday, Viveg came in on his four wheels from Penang. Viveg was our God-sent help when we were in PP. The lure of KT was hard to resist but he had to make it worthwhile......he brought HOME one of his associates.

10:41

I will stick by this "no news is good news" bit. I trust Haris and Viveg's intuition and observations. Whilst waiting for inputs here is a interlude:

11:15

Massive jams in Jl Pasir Panjang & Kuala Ibai......there is festivity KT style, none of the partisan hostility that we were made to believe will erupt. Rival groups were intermixing, unlike the tauntings at Permatang Pauh. These are Terengganu people, not the artificial urbanites we are familiar with. As such Haris asked: Why the presence of the large imported police force? On-the-job training or just a holiday. Remember my post on how much is spent on the imported police presence. SOMEBODY is enriched, no doubt.

Damn, where is my lighter. Haris and Marina aren't around and it can't be that they "borrowed" my torch......nipping across to 7Eleven to purchase.....better buy more than one, as I will be on this keyboard throughout the day JUST FOR YOU.

11:45

EC Chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Aziz is expecting a 90% voter turn-out. He is hoping that this will be a feather to his songkok in his maiden outing. He urged all to follow rules and to obey his latest rule - no observers allowed in polling rooms. If this is true, I hope Tan Sri sleeps well tonight, even if PAS wins.....because he kow-tow to his political bosses. Poor chap has too, otherwise this would be his first and last outing.

The by-election involves 36 polling stations and 143 polling streams. The constituency has 80,229 registered voters, including 1,302 postal voters. Voting is scheduled to end at 5pm. (We were informed that of the postal votes....some 300 were for PAS.....how did we know? That is for later on.)

If you have not gone to vote yet.....GO NOW before the phantoms STEAL your vote.....they are just WAITING in the police stations (transfered from the buses that brought them in) and would be deployed in Police trucks to whichever polling stations identified. This bit came from the PAS Ghostbusters.

12:13

This one for young parents who have voted this morning and for you others who are anxiously waiting for updates. This is a good one until we get other info from the ground:

This is priceless!!!

If you have raised kids, and gone through the pet syndrome, including
toilet flush burials for dead goldfish, the story below will have you
laughing out LOUD!

Overview: I had to take my son's lizard to the vet. Here's what
happened:

Just after dinner one night, my son came up to tell me there was
'something wrong' with one of the two lizards he holds prisoner in his
room. 'He's just lying there looking sick,' he told me. 'I'm serious,
Dad. Can you help?'

I put my best lizard-healer expression on my face and followed him into
his bedroom. One of the little lizards was indeed lying on his back,
looking stressed. I immediately knew what to do.

'Honey,' I called, 'come look at the lizard!'

'Oh, my gosh!' my wife exclaimed. 'She's having babies.'

'What?' my son demanded. 'But their names are Bert and Ernie, Mom!'

I was equally outraged.

'Hey, how can that be? I thought we said we didn't want them to
reproduce,' I said accusingly to my wife.

'Well, what do you want me to do, post a sign in their cage?' she
inquired (I think she actually said this sarcastically!)

'No, but you were supposed to get two boys!' I reminded her, (in my most
loving, calm, sweet voice, while gritting my teeth)

'Yeah, Bert and Ernie!' my son agreed.

'Well, it's just a little hard to tell on some guys, you know,' she
informed me (Again with the sarcasm!).

By now the rest of the family had gathered to see what was going on. I
shrugged, deciding to make the best of it.

'Kids, this is going to be a wondrous experience,' I
announced. 'We're
about to witness the miracle of birth.'

'Oh, gross!' they shrieked

'Well, isn't THAT just great? What are we going to do with a litter of
tiny little lizard babies?' my wife wanted to know.

We peered at the patient. After much struggling, what looked like a tiny
foot would appear briefly, vanishing a scant second later.

'We don't appear to be making much progress,' I noted.

'It's breech,' my wife whispered, horrified.

'Do something, Dad!' my son urged.

'Okay, okay.' Squeamishly, I reached in and grabbed the foot when it
next appeared, giving it a gentle tug. It disappeared. I tried several
more times with the same results.

'Should I call 911?' my eldest daughter wanted to know.

'Maybe they could talk us through the trauma.' (You see a pattern here
with the females in my house?)

'Let's get Ernie to the vet,' I said grimly. We drove to the vet with my
son holding the cage in his lap.

'Breathe, Ernie, breathe,' he urged.

'I don't think lizards do Lamaze,' his mother noted to him. (Women can
be so cruel to their own young. I mean what she does to me is one thing,
but this boy is of her womb, for goodness sake.).

The vet took Ernie back to the examining room and peered at the little
animal through a magnifying glass.

'What do you think, Doc, a C-section?' I suggested scientifically.

'Oh, very interesting,' he murmured. 'Mr. and Mrs. Cameron, may I speak
to you privately for a moment?'

I gulped, nodding for my son to step outside. 'Is Ernie going to be
okay?' my wife asked.

'Oh, perfectly,' the vet assured us. 'This lizard is not in labor. In
fact, that isn't EVER going to happen. Ernie is a boy. You see, Ernie is
a young male. And occasionally, as they come into maturity, like many
male species, they um um masturbate. Just the way he did, lying on his
back.' He blushed, glancing at my wife.

We were silent, absorbing this. 'So, Ernie's just, excited,' my wife
offered.

'Exactly,' the vet replied, relieved that we understood. More silence.
Then my vicious, cruel wife started to giggle. And giggle. And then even
roar with laughter.

12:45

Din Merican the DJ Blogger called. The mood at Chabang Tiga (Bandar) is jubilant. By 2:00pm the BN station may close shop.

Good voter turnout as expected in Kampong Cina. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....IT'S NOW OR NEVER...........

1:00PM

YB William Leong, MP for Selayang and PKR Treasurer came into Op Centre. He took out a neatly folded (definitely folded 3-4times) that a Malay gentleman, gave to him in a handshake after his speech at Kg Cina last night. He told of how the NEP helped only certain privileged lot. His story from Selayang: Mat (not his real name) was caned by the Principal because of his chronic tardiness, despite the fact that he was in the afternoon session. He took the punishment. When news of this was exchanged in the staff room, a teacher reported that Mat's elder brother was also a problem. He would skip the last period and left the premises. Subsequently, Dol (not his real name) was summoned and given a dressing-down: Why are you and your younger brother giving us these problems: he is always late and you are always missing during the last period. The truth finally came out: Related Dol: We share one shirt. I run back to give him my shirt. He has to run back to school but somehow cannot make it in time. (If you are not tearing now, you might after this). After YB's speech a Malay gentleman shook William's hand and said: My contribution to the family. In William's hand he cound the folded RM50. Haris, DelCapo and I had to do our part with a similar donation.

1:40PM

DelCapo smsed: Viveg and I managed to secure 2 bikes. We are forward.
Our youngsters in the Special Bunch never fail to amaze me. These are the future New Malaysians. Syabas Danny and Viveg.

2:00PM

Kasee
(MT admin) and Duke the Lonewolf Whisperer are on their way to the PAS nerve centre. They will be relaying the results to us when it comes in and even before it comes in.

2:15PM

SMS from an unfamiliar number: Wow you went LIVE before Malaysikini! Congrats to the Blue Blitz.

2:21PM

News came in that there was an altercation at Sek Men Gong Kapas. Police intervened and upon investigation National Institute for Election Intergity reported that the provocateurs were not locals.
Earlier it was rent-a-crowd for nomination day and today we have the rent-a-goon for polling day. I continue to be amazed by UMNO's ingenuity!

2:53PM

It is definitely not roses all the way.....DelCapo reports voter turnout in polling station at Dewan Tunku Abdul Rahman, in Bandar is low. FRU units stationed nearby.....is this intimidation like in Chinese Kampong in Permatang Pauh.

2:55PM

Gus came in with this: Ming Star management was questioned by some UMNO extinct big-wig why he accommodated PKR people in his hotel.I hope this old dope realise that the days when UMNO can walk into hotel, demand board and lodging, and leave saying that their sponsors will settle the bill.
We have 24 rooms.
We are not PKR members!
WE ARE BARISAN RAKYAT BLOGGERS.
WE ARE HERE TO PUT ANOTHER PR MP INTO PARLIAMENT.

++++++
I will be doing it the right way now....right at the top....you dont need to scroll down.

Thank you for the updates. keep it coming especially what is happening at the polling station and the best is tonight...masa ornag mengira undi....tiba tiba postal votes masuk bertong tong

Why does UMNO need to ferry voters back to KT to vote? They are not children. Why the free transport and free accomodation? How much "bribes" did they each received? Why is such practices only made by UMNO? Another case of money politics? Such "busing" practices should be stopped!

And why are there 6,000 police men in KT? Isn't that an overkill? Is KT a riot-torn city? Are the people there peaceful citizens or rabid anarchists? To have such a heavy contingent of police men there is an insult to our intelligence unless there is more than meet the eye. Will the 6,000 or even half of these policemen be surreptiuosly voting using IDs belonging to other KT'ians today? How much will they be paid?

"Money poliitics" or pure bribery?
Why are these allowed? UMNO members do not have confidence of winning in a clean Election? What are they afraid of?

I thought lizards lay eggs. But after knowing what BN is capable of doing, I realized that they managed to make some lizards walk with 2 legs. But they still have their forked tongues.

Anonymous said...

If UMNO wins, I highly recommend that someone files a Petition to the High Court to declare their win invalid. Just like in Thailand. That will put a bullet through the head for "money politics"!

try uploading some pics. can't wait to see.

Dr Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim? Hmm,it has a nice ring to it.
Naa, maybe not. There is a fake hollow sound to it.
Who is he trying to fool?

Why don't somebody put him on the spot one day by asking what his doctoral thesis.
