ONE FOR ONE

On 5 August, after an attack on Guan Ming lady reporter, I posted a piece hoping that the PKR security boys do not ape their BN counterparts.
We read PKR's Vice President Datuk Syed Hussein Ali say that "others posing as our supporters are responsible for this (attack on two journalists). Selongor Menteri Besar said: "I doubt the attackers were our supporters as our supporters were well-behaved and orderly despite the huge turnout on Saturday." "Well-behaved" is a motherhood statement and dont score points anyway. TV Smith, covering the nomination day with us was roughly pushed aside as he tried to get closer to Anwar and brusquely told to show some respect by not getting too close. I said "brusquely" instead of "politely".

For a fact, both sides are going to capitalise on this for the remaining days. PKR can take this opportunity to ensure no trouble happens to reporters and photographers. They should assign their security personnel to each reporter and photographer. Reporters and photographers should identify themselves before a ceremah to PKR security. Until PKR can assign "protection" for our media people, they can expect past negative situations as happened to be exploited. Think about it. The media boys and girls have a tough job, protect them, support them, without fear or favor....even Utusan reporters and photographers. The new government must engage and embrace....this is going to be a NEW MALAYSIA. NO?

ZORRO,

If BN can plant a mole to fix Anwar for sodomy, what so unlikely for them planting fake PR supporters whacking reporters at every possible opportunity.

Don't forget the 30 FRUs that whack Chang during BMC fracas.

The pornograhic pic of BN promoting sodomy says it all.

We are fighting for a change, a change for a better govt that up holds justice and civil society. What happened to the two cases, a journalist in Penang and two on nomination day at PP were unacceptable, whether planted by BN or not, they are hard to prove. PK should discipline their security and train them to be polite and yet firm, in their course of their duties. This is the least, we can expect from them.

Earlier today I proposed to PKR to consider offering some form of rewards including cash offer. I think it is important for PKR to ensure the public perception on them remain intact. We could not ignore the possibility of some posers attempting to tarnish their image.

Spending a few thousands to apprehend those trouble makers will be worth than letting your integrity go down the drain.
