IT'S SEREMBAN BECKONING.....

Angela Ooi, took this initiative to organise the above. The least we could do is to support this effort. Should you need more details you are free to call her at 019-3628367 (she consented for her # to be published).

CLICK ON MAP TO ENLARGE

Besides the map these are some instructions:

From KL:

Take Exit 218 Seremban.
After toll turn left
Drive on that road and pass 4 traffic lights.
Dataran Seremban Park is on the left after the 4th traffic light.
Get creative on the parking.

From south:

Take Exit 218 Seremban,
Turn left after the toll,
Keep left and U-turn under the bridge.
Drive on that road and pass 5 traffic lights.
Dataran Seremban Park is on the left after the 5th traffic

Angela says that she has informed DAP's reps but have had no response from PKR and PAS. Let's be very clear on one thing. This vigil is not a political initiative. It is a call for the ABOLITION of the ISA. We are aware that there are many in politics who are against this draconian law. This is an opportunity for you to stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow Malahsian in their effort to SAY NO TO ISA.

UPDATE AT 5:48PM

It is also convenient to take KTM commuter train to attend the vigil as the train station is only 5 minutes walk distance from the venue.

I will be there.

Angela, a very good start. I am from Penang and we had done our part over here.

Since its non political why not you inform parties from bn, like mca, gerakan, mic and even umno. Whether they turn up or accept the invitation or not does not matter.

Wishing you all the best and hope that people around there turn up to support the cause.

INSTEAD of going away for the long weekend holiday, members of the First Assembly of God Church in Kuala Lumpur decided to hold a gotong-royong yesterday to clean up the Pudu area.

The event was in collaboration with the Bukit Bintang DAP office and the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

The enthusiastic participants gathered at the church area on Jalan Sayor as early as 8am for the big clean-up. The DBKL provided the equipment and trucks to collect the garbage.

About 150 church members, both old and young, were divided into groups to clean up various segments of Pudu, accompanied by some 50 DBKL workers.

Pick up: Members of the First Assembly of God Church taking part in the gotong-royong to clean up the Pudu area on yesterday

The areas involved were from Jalan Pasar to Changkat Thamby Dollah.

According to a church leader, the joint effort was part of the Pudu renewal project to make the area a better place for quality living and to enhance its image.

“Pudu is located in the heart of the city and plays an important role in the overall image of Kuala Lumpur as the capital city,” he said.

“At the same time, the project also trains our young people to be conscious and caring of their community,” he said.

this kind of event is good for the
country and must be held nationwide.

to all those MPs PR or BN who are still sleeping what say you..

It may be a waste of time to inform the MCA, MIC, Gerakan goons, but shouldn't we take this opportunity to prove yet again that they are just a gust of dang hot smelly air by extending an invitation to them. The way they tugged in their rear in between their hinds at the recent sitting was just disgraceful beyond words.

Just an idea. Can we do a roll down the peninsula with these vigils. Started with Penang, then PJ. Next Seremban. JB next? Then we start all over from the North again. Any other towns that want to be in the roll call can join in. That way we could keep this thing alive and going.

For those who work around Golden Triangle , may be you want to take bus to Seremban immediately after office hour.
The journey from KL to Terminal One Bus Station ,Seremban takes around one hour ten minutes depend on traffic condition.
Terminal One is also about 5 minutes walking distance from the vigil venue.

Buses to Seremban are available at the bus station near Central Market Putra Station .

There are SKS buses and other companies buses available.

Suki....I got it. The appointed GM is my former neighbor. Her sons (2) and my son grew up together. She bought my landed property when I moved into our present condo. The MB recognises her management skills but being non-bumiputra that is anathema. We are still caught in this Keunana Melayu time warp. They are not interested in Performance. They just want a bumi in that oposition irrespective of whether he performs or not. Performance is not important. What is important to them is a Malays must hold that position.

Hi...

Just now overheard that Angela is looking for CC LIEW (the blogger who spend a lot of time translating each and every RPK's article into Chinese) at Dataran Seremban and she hope that somebody can contact him. Hope he can participate in our vigil nights too.

I actually informed him about our weekly gathering at PJ and he put up a post regarding the gathering in his blog.

He even came out with a new design of "FREE RPK, NO TO ISA" T-shirt for RPK. This version of T-shirt is in Chinese. I think it is good if we have a Chinese version, Tamil version etc...

He said he would be glad to pass the original design sample if we want to get it into mass production.

By the way, this is what I have been working on for the past 1 week... I randomly visited many Chinese Bloggers' from M'sian Chinese Bloggers Directory and left a comment in their post to "INVITE" them to our little gathering at PJ. So far, it's getting more and more people posting the info on their blog. The news is spreading among Chinese Bloggers in M'sia and some said they'll come to join us.

I hope we can get our crowd to expend in this way and let more people aware of our gathering.

For those Indian or Malay friends out there, please do the same thing and spread the news to Tamil/Malay Bloggers Community in our country.
