My friend Kee Thuan Chye the author of his latest book No More Bullshit, Please, We’re All Malaysians tagged me this morning on my FB Wall. Since Wednesday I had decided on my My Friday Guest Blogger. However, I am giving this honor to Thuan Chye because it is TIMELY.
Last night at Online, this question criss-crossed the bar front: Will you be there? Bala the Boss gave a good answer: I have to be there to make up the 500,000! I know that all the members called to the bar will be there except a lady whom I overheard declare that she loves Malaysia but does not want to involved in politics! It was at the tip of my tongue, but she escaped a lashing because it is Maunday Thursday and I seldom attack ladies. Lan Dang young lady, nobody is asking you to stand for elections. Your civic duty is to exercise your right as a citizens and that is to register as a voter. You could vote for a papaya tree for all we care because you made a choice! Sorry, I had to get this off my sagging chest…..so go read

How true is the maxim 'jumping on the band wagon' When I an oldman marched during bersih 1,where are the non-malays? When te reults of bersih1 and hindrah manifest in 308,every one want to be with bersih including other parties in PR.In all honesty all credit should be given to Pas.Non -malays in bersih 1 is less than 4,000.How many non-indians marched with the hindraf?
In our local sayinf, the lallang sway with the wind. All of a sudden all have found their missing balls.
Sampalee....it is different now because many have crossed the line called fear....it is not because they have found their balls....and even if they have found it, what's wrong with that? Our people are going through a "process" and to me that is positive and encouraging. Let's not belittle the effort our people are exhibiting now. We old people should be encouraging instead of making disparaging remarks. Peace brother.
Zorro,
We all have a choice...to support or otherwise.
So there is no point arguing about the negatives...
Why we need to support 428 ?
Just to share this...
“...In the last analysis, the most important elements in any man’s career must be the sum of those qualities which, in the aggregate, we speak of as character.
If he has not got it, then no law that the wit of man can devise, no administration of the law by the boldest and strongest executive, will avail to help him.
We must have the right kind of character -
character that makes a man, first of all, a good man in the home, a good father, and a good husband-that makes a man a good neighbor.
You must have that, and, then, in addition, you must have the kind of law and the kind of administration of the law which will give to those qualities in the private citizen the best possible chance for development.
The prime problem of our nation is to get the right type of good citizenship, and, to get it, we must have progress, and our public men must be genuinely progressive.”

You be the judge.
Shalom.
Rejoice...that people are 'jumping on the bandwagon'. It would be worse if nobody jump!
