TOK GURU VISITS TWO CATHOLIC CHURCHES BUT THE MISCHIEVE CONTINUES....

YESTERDAY, as I was on my way home I was alerted by SMS that Tok Guru was visiting St. Francis Xavier Church at Jaan Gasing at 5:00pm. This was a magnanimous gesture, and I was not going to miss this. When I arrived at the Church the media was already there and parishioners were unaware of why the media was present. The evening service was to commence at 5:30pm. Heavy traffic on a Sunday caused by a heavy shower delayed Tok Guru's arrival until 5:35pm. Whilst the service was on Fr. Simon was on hand to receive Tok Guru.

I am sure the congregation would have loved to greet and hear this revered personage, but it was not to be. I was hoping that could happen but it did not.

However, Tok  Guru said that he wanted to visit the Church which was torched. A police officer volunteered to escort Tok Guru to the Assumption Church. When Tok Guru arrived the service had begun ahead of the 6:00pm service as it was the Harvest Festival and a Tamil service had already begun. Tok Guru met with the Parish Priest Fr. Philip Muthu but I could not catch the conversation. But you and I can imagine what transpired.

In mid-morning whilst I was at the PJ Sessions court witnessing the case of our 22 arrested friends during the eve of Bursih candlelight vigil, I received an SMS alert about a proposed demonstration organised at the Assumption Church for sometime this week. I immediately called Fr Philip Muthu to confirm this message I received. Earlier I had read that Selangor CPO warned about any demonstration by the Church.

Fr. Philip is aware of this SMS and he catergorically denied this and asked me to pan it down to readers that this was a mischievous rumour. Fr Muthu told me that he had informed Malaysiakini about this HERE.

So people, be wary of this mischief that will still prevail.

I love the Tok Guru.
But why the big deal about him visiting the church.
Najib and other Umno leaders did the same.
Nice to know you like at least one Muslim.

Should have taken the Tok Guru to the friendly neighbourhood watering shed after the holy visit.

It would probably surprise him that people of different races worship the bartender more than the Al Mighty!

In all seriousness, the less fuel thrown into a burning fire, the better.

Hopefully maturity prevails, despite varied differences, as no one benefits from civil unrest.

A GOOD MAN DOES NOTHING.

Uncle Zorro,

Very magnanmious gesture indeed! Tok Guru visiting a church! Too good to be true. Have not seen Najib do that, have we?

This have nothing to do with Tok Guru's visit,

I have a better idea than all the half past sixes ministers combine.
Since the issue is about "Allah" and nothing else.
Let the Christians and Churches continues to use the Allah word until there is a divine signal to them to drop it.
To the Muslims whom are against the Christians using the Allah word , wait until there is a divine sign from Allah that he is against it as well.
In other words , let Allah make his decision.
Why make life so difficult for everyone? Wait for Allah to show his sign.
Fair right?

Those goons that torched the churches knows that is "bad" & "wrong" but yet they still do it...!!

Now they wanna "make it" look like its a retaliation from the Christians...

This is what you call "The Art Of War".

How is it that these goons CAN keep on torching churches & till now still not been caught yet...?????

Becoz "still under control..." !!!
WHAT WILL BE CONSIDER SERIOUS THEN, Mr Home Minister???

That stupid dickhead CPO from PDRM is trying to intimidate the non-muslim when they just want to hold a candlelight virgil. It is amazing that when those religious bigots who wanted to demonstrate on the word ALLAH, he dudok diam diam and do nothing.
What fairness and moralistic are our blue uniform???
They are just a bunch running dogs similar to those religious bigots who behaved worst than monkeys destroying the good image of Islam.

If these people are still not confident despite being the majority in Malaysia, I really do not know what they want!

Pinsysu, yes I retrieved what you sent. You would have noticed by now that I have not posted on the churches that were targeted. Enough has been said and I do not want to aggravate the situation. It will not help solve what has been done. I would rather go for those who are spreading mischievous rumors. This is my thinking. I could be wrong. I keep praying and hoping that good sense will prevail.

Thanks again.

Stones thrown at Sikh temple in Sentul
Jan 12, 10 12:12am

The attacks on places of worships in Malaysia escalated today with another attack - this time against a Sikh temple in Sentul where stones were thrown damaging a glass door.

Police found about 20 big stones near the broken window of the 100-year-old Gurdwara Sahib Sentul temple yesterday evening.

Temple volunteers who were doing gardening said they heard sound of broken glass at 6.45pm and went to investigate. One of the volunteers, who is a police officer, informed the police about the attack.

Temple committee chairperson Gurbial Singh said that no one spotted the assailants. He said that the Sikh scripture use the contentious word 'Allah'. Temple officials are urging devotees to remain calm.

The latest attack came in the wake of a spate of fire-bombings against churches across the nation, triggered by the High Court's Dec 31 decision to lift a government ban on non-Muslims using 'Allah' as a translation for 'God'.

The ruling in favour of Catholic newspaper The Herald, which argued for the right to use 'Allah' in its Malay-language section, was suspended last week pending an appeal, after the government argued that 'Allah' is exclusive to Malay Muslims.

Exco and MP visit temple

At least nine churches have been attacked in Malaysia since last Friday in the wake of the High Court decision.

Seven churches were firebombed - four in the Klang Valley, two in Taiping and another in Seremban.
The worst hit was Metro Tabernacle Church in Desa Melawati, Kuala Lumpur, where the ground floor of its three-storey building was gutted.

An additional two churches were attacked - a church in Malacca was splashed with black paint, while stones were thrown at a church in Miri, Sarawak, breaking one of its glass windows.

Selangor executive councillor Elizabeth Wong and Selayang parliamentarian William Leong (photo below) visited the Gurdwara Sahib temple at 10.30pm.

'Allah' in Sikh holy book

During the court hearing of the Herald case, Malaysian Gurdwara Council president Jagir Singh filed the application seeking an intervention.

In his application, he said the word 'Allah' was contained in the Sikh holy book, the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Jagir said the Sikh scripture was from God and that not a single word in it could be changed, amended or replaced.

The council, which represents the Sikh community, was among those which applied to intervene in the matter.

A number of Muslim organisations - the Penang, Terengganu, and Perak Islamic Religious Councils, Malay Customs Council and the Federal Territory Islamic Council - had also applied to intervene, arguing that they too had an interest in the case.

However, their applications were rejected by the court.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Greetings Tok Guru. You truly demonstrate what a Muslim should be!شباس

Apparently more Gurdwara's(Sikh temples) have been attacked, but its hearsay, once its confirmed can I request you to publish and condemn this heinous acts as well?

You guys stay cool, yeah! They use the name of The Almighty to deny ever knowing a dead woman; they use HIM again to officiate the 2nd sodomy festival; and now they use HIS name to orchestrate some chaos to initiate Mageran (a state of emergency), where all states will be under federal rule.........then they might use HIS name to snatch Selangor and Penang.

So guys stay cool to derail their plans. Stay united as "1Malaysia" to give them a taste of their own medicine.

May peace be upon all Malaysians.

Imagine when they came to WM to pray where they cannot use Allah. What is 1Malaysia then??? Now we have 2Malaysia or may be 3..4Malaysia... ...Goodness gracious, we really have a bunch of clowns running Bolehland. Guarantee to be in number ONE status for being the most laughable country on earth.
