What is holding back Sabah and Sarawak from leaving Malaya ? Just look at Singapore and Brunei to day they either have the wisdom not to part of Malaysia or left Malaysia. If I am not mistaken, one of the 18 points agreement with Sabah on the formation of Malaysia is that Sabah agreed not to ever secede! How's that?! Anyway, if Sarawak and Sabah do breakaway, then there is no more Malaysia.
Just give Sarawak and Sabah their original rights as agreed in the malaysia agreements and they will be happy.

An independent Sabah and Sarawak is not a bad idea. With so much resources in the two states, and under capable leaders with the same calibre as Singapore's, Borneo has a lot going for it if they know how to harness these resources. A North Borneo Confederation sounds interesting! The combination of land is huge. Think of Australia and how it has progressed with a multi-racial society.
