Of course she wouldn't & she couldn't not because she can't. If she accedes to you non-PKR people, she is crucified by the omni important grassroot PKR members as a mindless wishy washy lady who gets pushed around by a sudden gush of small wind.

If she declines ( which she has wisely did ), she then sents a strong message to the voters that she is nobody's kickass and also more important that she is not power mad. she will then get the highest votes for Vice-President, guaranteeing her as favorite for that post in round 2.

Did you guys really think her struggling father and accidental President mother will encourage her to suck it up to Zaid , and run the risk of alienating loyal bodyguard & confidante Azmin? No way...

Elementary my dear Watson

She said she would have to consult party elders first. And who are those party elders? Its papa, mama, Syed Husin.. so her DP candidacy was always never going to be on the card. I believe Zorro & Co bloggers supporting her candidacy was a move to put some pressure on Azmin and testing the waters for possible future and real push for Nurul to ascent the party ladder. And I believe Zorro has done a good work on this front. Clearly to me, Nurul leads the pack of politicians below 50 yrs of age from both sides of the political divide in potentials for PMship. She, not KJ can be PM by 40, and hopefully PKR has become a mature political animal then.

So now does that mean we support Zaid? Oh boy!! He certainly has not exuded confidence ever since he lost in Hulu Selangor and more recently, one day supporting Khalid and the next Nurul.

A wise decision. She has age on her side, and more than that, a strong clear mind, character and the will to create changes. She will lead PKR in the near future.

At least Zorro now knows who are the bloggers that are on his side.

Rate of service tax be increased from 5% to 6%.– increase in everything such as handphone bills, transportation, medical expenses, food and so on. Well, inflation is set to go up by at least 6%.

New 6pc service tax for paid TV broadcasting service such as Astro.

So by paying more money for service tax, the average Malaysian will move up into the higher income category? How can this be since more money will be flowing out of his pocket rather than into it?

Nurul wise decision!...the world is at your feet, go for it when you more established and your cleaned image unchallenged!
You are undoubtedly, belonged to the next tier of potential capable leaders of PKR. I wish you well...

This episode of the spontaneous ( albeit sinister ) urging of Nurul ( as a nominee of good guy Zaid ) to take on bad guy Azmin leaves a bad taste in the mouth. The kind of "being used" scenario of a virgin being tempted to satisfy an old man. It also exposes many of you half blind 1 eye bloggers as a kind of rowdy mob with the similar mentality of do as we do who cares.

What is it about Zaid that got all of you rile up ? Grow up - Zaid is an opportunist, as he always has been. Do not judge him by the past , judge him by the present

To be concern about one future is nothing special. It is more important to based one's decision on what is better for the country.Afterall the umno leaders are also concern about the future and do no take risk to rock the system.Politicain a one selfish lot.

Yes all quality people....i am glad you noticed that.

Zorro,
Well, I admire your sincerity in supporting Zaid & Nurul. Frankly, I am supporting Zaid & hope that he would contribute a strong role in PKR.

Zorro,
That does not mean that Zaid must be the DP of PKR. I see Zaid as the Rajaratnam of PKR. The Thinker or the drummer. If you watch Napoleonic war movies, you would see soldiers matching in the square form into the battle. You would see one soldier who carry nothing but a drum. Encourage soldier to Maju ke hadapan.....
That's why we should never lose focus. Galas & Batu Sapi is around the corner. Ku Li has "reluctantly" took on the role of Erwin Rommel during the D-Day. Galas was the "Normandy" for the better future.

Zorro,
Hence, whatever the outcome....We must support PAS to win Galas. Zaid has mentioned that we must win small battles before finally we reach Berlin....Ooops! Putrajaya!

Zorro,
If you start a campaign on having Zaid played the role of "Rajaratnam" of PKR or Pakatan Rakyat, I will support you wholeheartedly.
Rajaratnam was bred in Seremban before he moved across the causeway to join PAP there

What's your reaction (if any) to the 2011 budget?

(I hope you take a break from PKR matters)

PM's residence gets RM65 mil facelift. Do you think this RM65 mil could be put into better use for the rakyat?

After seeing Zaid in mal/mis-action over the last few days ( culminating in his one more farcical so-at-peace-over-my-grandson deflection ) the choice between Zaid vis a vis Azmin is even more straightforward.

Zaid gives the impression of a forward thinking kind/intellectual/idealist/righteous/fair man & claims to be open but is strangely arrogant/rude. He oftentimes talks using his ass too. As a political strategist he is like a child. Tho again strangely he seems to have a way with some bloggers.

Azmin is not so polished/sociable maybe but he is a shrewd politician, has been dependable so far & a realist, & also a man with stamina & great devotion ( to PKR ).

Who would you support ( for now ) as a capable/trustworthy future leader ? The answer my friend is obvious. Zaid has just committed suicide and nobody's gonna cry

For past many years since Merdeka the BN government had spent hundreds of billion, probably trillion of ringgit by now and still we have got many problems unsolved. For many of us we couldn’t even understand what it means to have this enormous amount of budget, let alone to analyze it several ways. However, one thing is quite consistent at our end and that the money isn’t flowing our way. So don’t waste time analyzing it, only anal do that. The only way to make the money game to our advantages is to change the government.

Quite honestly, what did you expect?
Nurul going against daddy's 'boy'?
Daddy gets upset.
If going for number 2, Zaid would go for No1 - Mammy gets upset!
It is more in life than politics.

Wise choice, Nurul. Your time will come. Meanwhile, serve the rakyat and they will support you in time to come.

Najid is desperate for support, he knows very well that the support of the Malays is also dwindling. This reaching out to the former civil servants is another of his desperate moves. His statements further confirms what others have accused the BTN of doing ... that's spreading racial biases against the non-Malays. Najid is digging out the 'dirt' that has been fed to the civil servants by the BTN to gain support.

He may think the former civil servants had been 'brainwashed' but he forgets these civil are also human beings. They, too have consciences. They have eyes and they have minds of their own .. they know what they have been fed and now what Najid is trying to capitalise on now is not the truth and they will not be 'bought' by the 'sweets' now being offered.

Despite all its bombast and pyrotechnics, Najib’s 2011 budget is not a child of the New Economic Model but bears all the marks of old discredited policies which have landed Malaysia in the middle-income trap for more than a decade, setting the country towards a failed and bankrupt nation come 2019.

Former PM Mahathir’s obsession with mega projects like the proposed RM5 billion 100-storey Warisan Merdeka tower is back with a vengeance.

Is Najib secretly trying to out-Mahathir Mahathir to build a tower higher than Mahathir’s Petronas Twin Towers?

Najib say no money to give 1 month bonus costs RM3.1b but got money to build RM5b 100-storey tower n increase JKKK chairman pay from RM450 to 800 monthly.

The 3 blocked arteries serve as a lesson for Ibrahim Ali not to play dirty politics using racial and religious sentiments to divide the people and in trying to instigate a civil war among the people of different racial and religious divide.

Zaid underwent a series of missteps since his attempt at Hulu Selangor. Whether it was his own ego/fault or really, really bad advice, I don't know.

However, if he is indeed a good strategist, he should get off the limelight. Spend his energies concentrating on proposing a workable working relationship between the PR partners PLUS Sabah & Sarawak. Stay out of PKR's politics ...... that was when he was at his best.

It could come a time, when PR will need an "non-partisan"/"compromise" leader in PutraJaya. He could very well be the one besides Ku Li. IF he plays his cards right. 1st man or 2nd man is just as important, there. (Only potential problem are both are Kelantanese! Hahaha)

More and more, Anwar is loosing his grip on that position even as PR proceeds to PutraJaya.

Now that Zaid realize (or does he?) that he has lost many people's confidence, he should get down to earth. He should seriouly discard his I too am Malay boast & go down to the people. Do not show off his stupid lack of intelligence but more humility. More important , never tell lies again. Most people are cleverer than you

It appears that your earlier strong support for Zaid and followed up by going out of your way bending backwards to emphatically solicit your fellow bloggers' endoresment of his last minute stunt of withdrawing then supporting Nurul if she agrees to take on Azmin, then again renegaging on his earlier assertion to make way for Khalid is quite unbecoming of a person, much less a future leader of PKR. Your great lapse of judgement regarding this high flyer is quite telling and I believe has also damaged the independence of your otherwise good blog. Money as they say can work wonders , as it has also revealed Zaid's true colors

Najib tells the Chinese that if they vote for Pakatan, PAS will run the country. Then he goes and tells the Malays that if they vote Pakatan, the Chinese will run the country.

How about making an adjustment to your otherwise boring racial rhetoric which is clearly not bringing voters back to BN's or Umno's fold. For a change, you can tell the Chinese and Malays if they vote for Pakatan, the Indians will run Malaysia.

Najib is a third-class politician singing different tunes to different goons. As long as these people remain ignorant and insecure, no amount of effort will be enough to save Malaysia from these leeches who continue to suck the nation dry with their mega-project mania.

Honestly, it's impossible to trust Umno. The words from their leaders' mouths seem to be like a salesman selling insurance or a car.

Holy shit ! She's quite a good looker ! No wonder you old horny bloggers support her, not because you support has-been Zaid

RPK to Khairy:
We can stop questioning the Bumiputera equity target, as what you asked us to do. But how are we going to ensure that we reach that 30% target unless you can find a way to stop the Malays from selling what the government gives them and then secretly transferring the money overseas to buy property or to save in foreign bank accounts?

The Melaka sultanate was founded in the early 1400s. Only 300 years later were Canada, Australia and New Zealand “discovered” and settled by western pendatangs. How come malaysia even with a 300-year headstart is so far behind those countries?

I hope Prof KKK or Riduan Tee can enlighten us with explanation.

Government is embarked upon a dangerous path of massive borrowing and spending. The spending is directed and channeled towards projects and activities that will not contribute to either enhancing the productive or the competitive capacity of the economy. The key beneficiaries are likely to be a small coterie with links to the Barisan.
