TUESDAY PICKS - 09

Former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad's most recent defence of dictatorships - they can be good for you, he said - recalls a famous remark made about Italian dictator Benito Mussolini - "He made the trains run on time."

Mahathir's brief for dictatorship is ominous

You said my book has “incited hatred against the Constitution”. This is a sick joke. Throughout my book, one consistent theme is my appeal to everyone to be faithful and to defend the Constitution. Even on the much politicized Article 153, which has been deliberately and dishonestly misinterpreted to carry out all sorts of racist agenda and therefore has attracted much misgiving, I have only words of praise for it. I quote from my article titled “The Constitution and Malay Rights” in page 27l of my book:

“The center of controversy is Article 153 of the Constitution which provides for what is popularly known as Malay ‘privileges’. Due to misrepresentation by Umno in the past, many have come to identify Article 153 – and even the entire Constitution – as racially discriminatory. This is not so. In spite of numerous constitutional amendments, the egalitarian spirit of our Constitution in respect of racial equality remains largely intact. Public misunderstanding is attributed to Umno hijacking Article 153 to practice unbridled racial discrimination for self-enrichment in the past few decades.

Top 10 Reason Why 1Malaysia is Dead!

In the 1980s and 1990s, Halim Saad and Tajudin Ramli were two of Malaysia's brightest stars, picked by former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad to lead the country's ethnic Malays onto the national stage as exemplars of a new Bumiputera business culture that would catch up with the ethnic Chinese who had dominated commerce as long as Malaysia had been in existence.

The days before the polling day begins PR must station 24-hr surveillance at Putrajaya Residence. Follow every containers moving out of putrajaya to the destination of unloading. Take many pictures and videos. We do not want read or listen to words. Pictures and videos speak well.

Expect many lootings.

Umno-linked companies have been involved a wide variety of activities including media, property development, construction, toll roads, hospital equipment, logistics and distribution, cellular telephony and other businesses. They benefited from government contracts doled out by the Barisan Nasional, the ruling coalition that has controlled Malaysia since its inception as a country. Most of them were mismanaged into financial trouble of one kind or another and had to be bailed out or bought out by the government.

Corrupted money (Duit Haram) is circulated among thse companies!!!

Folks over at Galas and Batu Sapi are getting ready to sing—
Oh! You better watch out,
A five million ringgit here,
A five million ringgit there,
I’m telling you why:

Jibbi Claus is coming to town!

He’s making a list,
He’s checking it twice,
He’s gonna find out
who’s pro or anti-BN.

Jibbi Claus is coming to town!

He sees you when you’re sleeping,
He knows when you’re awake.
He knows when you’ve been pro or anti,
So be good for goodness sake!

So…You better watch out,
A five million ringgit here,
A five million ringgit there,
I’m telling you why.

Jibbi Claus is coming to town.

Bung Moktar (BN-Kinabatangan) said “Proton said it would cost RM700mil to produce a new car. If it cannot afford (to design a new model), then just close down. Do not embarrass the country. Proton has been doing research and development for years. Don’t tell me that there is no design that can make the people proud,”

Yes, Proton is a lost-cause venture.

All the racial issues are created by Umno, if Umno is not racist, who is? Just recall all the speeches Umno leaders had made. Please, Muhyiddin Yassin, check the records over the past 53 years. Who raised the keris? Who declared the keris would be soaked with Chinese blood? Who allowed Utusan Malaysia to fan racial issues?

Who tolerated Perkasa and put Hindraf leaders in jail? Who paraded with cow's heads? Who created all the unfair policies? Who declared Ketuanan Melayu? Who used racial issues to remain in power and siphon off billions of taxpayers' money for the own cronies? Yet the Malays masses still remain poor after all the NEP (New Economic Policy).

Read between Najib's lines and you get a disturbing feeling that his speech is a veiled threat. Is Najib saying they will go all out with jihad-like attitude to prevent a switch of government? We must be wary of what Umno will do to hang on to power.
