He shot to fame with this song as soloist with his brothers, the Jacksons and he ended his last tour reunited with the Jacksons, his brothers.

Michael Jackson was an entertainment genius, backed by some of the best production professionals in the business.

Alas, his later private life was not well managed and that is the sadness that is evoked.

Certainly in the 80s, the Gloved One set the benchmark for music, dance and entertainment throughout the world. He was a global icon.

What a loss. My family especially my late mother loves his songs with THRILLER being her favourite. MJ will be sadly missed. Thank you MJ for all the great memories.

Purple Haze....totally with you.

Ipoh Hunk....to each his own. I would prefer to remember his contributions to pop. It is sometimes easier to bring out others' weaknesses rather than their strengths.

Lets remember him for his plusses as we would like others to remember us when we ourselves go.

Ipoh Hunk,
That's not very nice of you to say in that manner. We too have our own weaknesses. 100% agree with Mr Zorro.

totally agreed with you zorro, to each his own. One cannot denied Michael Jackson has contribute greatly to the music industry with his kind of music. He was the one who had the world stunned with his famous moon walk. all alot of his music have been used even in cardiol exercise by Les Mills group.

I played 'Ben' when my son Benjamin was born and shed tears of joy
I listened to 'Ben' again
It made me cry and I shed tears of sadness
God Bless His Soul
May He Rest in Peace
