If it is true, Tanah Melayu would have meant a land of the runaways and not as being exploited now. Once Independence was achieved, the than leaders in their wisdom decided on the mane of Malaya and later Malaysia.Citizenship was given to all those souls who had decided to make this land their home. Citizenship meant equality for all. Despite that special privileges were incorporated into the constitution with an objective of providing a level playing field for all. Haven't we achieved the objective or has the old man lost his marbles and do not see the whole picture?
