The Umno President as well as the Umno Youth Chief have been doing the song and dance on how their party's capable of change and reform, like their slogan in the Hulu Selangor by-elections "BN Mampu Berubah". However these are proving to be empty rhetoric, for its now demonstrated clearly that Umno leaders are only interested in upholding 'ketuanan Melayu', even if it is at the expense of public policy, principles of social and distributive justice as well, as well as the greater needs of the poorer bumiputeras.
There's certainly nothing enshrined in the Constitution which says that Malays are entitled to discounts for luxury properties costing millions of ringgit. The 'special position' of the Malays also does not extend by definition to such discounts or privileges, or one could then make the incredulous argument that as a result of the 'special position', Malays will even be entitled to constitutional discounts for purchasing BMWs, Porches, home theatre systems, first class air tickets or even jewellery and precious stones.
The discount for the purchase of luxury properties is one of the clear cut abuses of the New Economic Policy which needs reform to ensure that it is the bottom 40% of income earners who receive the benefit from affirmative action.
As such it is appropriate to abolish the discount applied to luxury homes and to use the 'discount' to set up a housing fund to help poor bumiputeras.
What do these fanatics from umno Bkt Bendera mean when they shout "don't play with fire"? Perhaps they should come out like brave souls to elaborate what they meant by that slogan. Then we will know who they are targetting and what it is all about and those warned can be prepared.
That will also clarify once and for all whether these fanatics themselves understand what they mean and the consequences to the nation, and above all, to themselves
A bunch of racialistic, unethical and power greedy UMNO politicians esp that pendatang dickhead Ahmad Said, Ib Ali etc.. going to China. Well, its time for the mainland chinese to grill and bombard these dickhead idiots from UMNO on their racialistic, unethical, egoistic behavior towards the non malays in Malaysia. Give them a big kick on their assess and knock some pig sense into their hard empty skulls once in for all!!
