TO PETE, FROM MONGOLIA.

I received this email from Christopher:

Altantuya’s dad speaks: RPK shouldn’t be a victim of political (in)justice
<>

Altantuya Shariibuu’s dad, Stev, has emailed me his statement (through his lawyer in Mongolia) regarding RPK’s trial and detention under the ISA. The image above is his own handwriting. The translation copy I receive in his mail says:

I understand, Mr. Raja Petra has good personal character and has a good reputation and runs humanitarian activity.
I understand that the below issues were directly connected with murder case of my daughter:
- Who did arrange visa issue for my daughter while she visited in French?
- Who was attending in the trip to French and what did they do?
If it could make clear those issues, they would understand every thing. Why is there so much force and influence in the case? Because there was a serious issue. Thus they destroyed my daughter.

Unfortunately, they pressed down Mr.Raja Petra’s statement. I think this issue needs to get attention from international human right organizations.

He (RPK) shouldn’t be a victim of politic for justice. It would be justice if they release Mr.Raja Petra.
As we are, all Mongolian worry for him and his justice, we lack of information on truth and situation.

"altantuya sharibuu's dad has email me..."

who is the 'me' here? if you put as christopher who email you this, sounds like the 'me' there is christopher.

i believe this originally came from susan loone. the 'me' is susan loone. (so do give credit where credit is due). she had blog about it and had email lots of people to request them to blog about it. christopher could be one of the person susan email to or susan's friends email to (i wanted to blog on it too but my blog was down).

there is no truth and justice in malaysia. UMNO is the answer of everything in bolehland.

We mourn for his loss and continous degradation of his daughter's character in public to uphold some other people's reputation.

We are in agreement with Mr Sharibuu and the people of Mangolia that these questions need to be answered.

LUCIA: We all have more urgent things to do than to be picky about nitty-gritties. I get an email from Christopher. It is worthy of post. I post it. The original author (ME) will understand that we are disseminating good info. Timing is of the essence. I myself never bother if somebody takes a posting from me. If it helps the CAUSE it is good enough!

I agree with zorro. Why be petty over small issues when there are bigger issues involved. Sometimes, people are in a hurry to get the news out and overlook such small things. Don't make things hard for good people.

This is the primary reason, why Malaysians want a change in govt. Malaysians generally are fair minded and decent human beings, take great pride in seeing justices for all...immaterial, whether to a local or a foreigner. Transparency in a govt is of utmost importance, not changing immegration record to protect the asses of some VIPs.
Altantuya's father is a very honorable man, he felt, he has to speak out, the truth of PKR's character...a very deserving praise of a fine man.

well i stand by what i said. if you, mag and jenn felt i'm being picky, fine - your personal opinion. i am one who always advocate to give credit where credit is due. how can one say because of time, you forgot the credit. oh and i bother very much if people take my posting without crediting me.

now i hope you guys don't go and accuse me of being picky again... but since you guys brought it up, i have to respond. (but as i said, if you want to, be my guest anywa).

hi uncle zorro;
just that u know i don't mind as long as the info gets distributed. this would mean a lot to RPK, and that is what matters. thanks a lot.

and to lucia, thanks for remembering me as well.

but uncle zorro, i sent an email to haris with this letter too, to ask his help to bring this letter to RPK and Marina when you all go to court. but there has been no reply from him at all. can you check with him please?

thanks a lot again.

Prosecution in RPK's trial seems to be fumbling. There is good reason to be happy about this for a high possibility that the case will be withdrawn or thrown out. However, I believe it is intentional so that the trial will not go on for possible obvious reasons. It is better for the prosecution team to get embarrassed and "slapped" on the hand than to risk possible evidence being revealed in court.
I would prefer the trial to go on so that the truth be known.
