To all our Hindu brothers and sisters may this festival of lights keep that hope for a better future keep burning although it may seem like a flicker in the darkening night.
Yesterday i was in downtown yesterday evening and observed sadly that many Indians were out doing some last minute shopping.
By the look of their physical being and attire, it was not too difficult to guess that they belong to a hardworking poor category.
From a quick assessment of the things they bought it was also not difficult to guess that they were on an extremely low key budget string fighting to make hard decisions with their needs, wants and means.
It is very sad indeed to witness in this age and time when we proclaim to the world with loud clarions that we are having first world infrastructures, when our own citizens are still living in abject poverty.
One cannot imagine how these poor huddled in the squalour of the glittering cities wake to greet each passing day....
May your Divine strenght and caring citizens' determination remain with you this Deepavali.
I wish All Malaysian of Hindu Faith A Happy Deepavali, May The Festive of Lights Bring More Blessings To The Country.
As They Light Up During This Auspicious Celebration, Let There Be Continuous Lights and Also Be The Beacon of Hope For The Earlier Release For All Held Under ISA.
Happy Diwali. Makkal Sakthi.
Wherever there is light
Darkness must take flight
Evil can't stand anything bright
Let's use light to remove all blight

It is hard to digest what the PM mumbles about on his Deepavali speech. But it is good to know that tens of thousands of Hindraf supporters "sealed" ( bungkus / ta pao )the fate of mic and bn.
The recent anti ISA petition done in Parliament , the highly suspicious helicopter deal and the arrest of a 6 year old also 'sealed" many bn's MPs fate in the next round of GE.
Happy Holiday and Deepavali to all readers. Some will celebrate but i know some do not have the mood to celebrate.Do not gives up.As you are not alone.
many of the names mentioned are rebels who want to overthrow the present govt to set up a taliban inspired islamic govt. Hard for me to support that.
Uncle Bernard,
Greetings from the Wharf at Macao. Happy Divali to one and all.
I hope to be back soon and if by than RPK still in custody, will join the Candle light vigil.
Even if after RPK gets out, I think the weekly vigil must carry on until ISA "dimansuhkan"
That is the ultimate objective.
Let the light continue to shine!

Has the court proved THAT. Why is the government so afraid to put them on trial? Are you able to give us an honest answer?
