TO HELL WITH PRINCIPLES!

pic courtesy of bodohland

ANWAR, what in high heavens are you waiting for....if you haven't got the numbers required to form the new government, tell us. We hate being led by the nose. If you don't have that scrotal gumption required for this task you have been sermonising about, tell us whether IT is on or off so that we can move on with other more tangible possibilities to eliminate BN.

I am totally pissed with all the cockamamie about PRINCIPLES.....it is not right to cross-over; it is against principle to cross-over; it is poor principle to be disloyal; you must be principled enough to ask those who voted you in if you could cross-over. We have so much principle that we have been buggered blur, and screwed blind by the BN for the last three decades. We have been so principled that we have allowed the BN to hoodwink us to the point that we have lost our ability to do much with our pickled pricks. This country is raped by the elite and we still roll our eyes and talk about principles.

I am totally pissed with the MPs from Sabah. You gave the BN the right to govern and you are being governed. Isn't it pathetic that such a beautiful state like Sabah are represented by a bunch of kow-towing "principled" castrated representatives of the Sabahans. You have sold your souls and you will not get it back if you still continue to copulate with the BN. UMNO is in disarray and you still worship at their altars and kiss their mangy feet? What manner of MEN are you. I was recently in KK and had the opportunity to interact with many. I tell them that they integrate so well, the different races. But I also told them that their leaders are WIMPISH, GUTLESS, INDECISIVE, NOT FLIP-FLOPS BUT YO-YOs. The same goes to the MP from Sarawak.....totally the same.

I say fuck to Principles. Principles have got us nowhere! Principles have left the rakyat impotent. Principles have turned us into zombies - the walking dead.

Consider these.....AND YOU MAY WANT TO RETHINK ABOUT PRINCIPLES!

Looking at the list below, it looks like the BN government is more determined to help themselves rather than the citizens.

And this list below is hardly exhaustive as these are the ones uncovered so far – the tip of the ice-berg, if you will! What lies
beneath could be much larger :-

The Bank Bumiputra twin scandals in the early 1980s saw US$1 billion (RM3.2 billion in 2008 ringgit) wasted;

The Maminco attempt to corner the world tin market in the 1980s is believed to have cost some US$500 million (RM1.6 billion);

Betting in foreign exchange futures cost Bank Negara Malaysia RM30 billion in the 1990s;

Perwaja Steel resulted in losses of US$800 million (RM2.56 billion). (Eric Chia was charged with corruption for allegedly
steering US$20 million (RM64 million) to a Hong Kong-based company.);

Use of RM10 billion public funds in the Valuecap Sdn. Bhd. operation to shore up the stock market;

Banking scandal of RM700 million losses in Bank Islam;

The sale of M.V. Agusta by Proton for one Euro making a loss of €75.99 million (RM 348 million);

Wang Ehsan from oil royalty in Terengganu amounting to RM7.4 billion from 2004 – 2007;

For the past 10 years since the Philharmonic Orchestra was established, this orchestra has swallowed a total of RM500 million;

In Advisors Fees, Mahathir was paid RM180,000; Shahrizat Abdul Jalil (Women and Social Development Affairs)

RM404,726; and Abdul Hamid Othman (Religious Affairs) RM549,675 per annum;

11. The government has spent a total of RM3.2 billion in teaching Maths and Science in English over the past five years. Out of the
amount, the government paid a whopping RM2.21 billion for the purchase of information and computer technology (ICT)

equipment of which the breakdown of costs is unknown;

The commission paid for the purchase of jets and submarines to two private companies, Perimeker Sdn Bhd

and IMT Defence Sdn Bhd amounted to RM910 million;

RM300 million to compensate Gerbang Perdana for the RM1.1 billion "Crooked Scenic Half-Bridge";

RM1.3 billion has been wasted building the white elephant Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facilities

on cancellation of the Malaysia-Singapore scenic bridge;

RM100 million spent on the Parliament building for renovations and to patch up leaks;

National Astronaut Programme - RM 40 million;

National Service Training Programme - yearly an estimate of RM 500 million;

Eye on Malaysia - RM30 million and another RM5.7 million of free tickets;

RM4.63 billion 'soft-loan' to PKFZ;

RM2.4 million on indelible ink;

SAMY announced in September 2006 that the government paid compensation amounting to

RM38.5 billion to 20 highway companies. A RM380 million windfall for 9 toll concessionaires

earned solely from the toll hikes in 2008 alone;

RM32 million timber export kickbacks involving companies connected to the Sarawak Chief

Minister and his family;

Bailouts –

Two bailouts of Malaysia Airline System at RM7.9 billion. At a time when MAS incurred losses

every year, RM1.55 million was used to buy three paintings to decorate its chairman's (Munir) office;

Putra transport system bailout which cost RM4.486 billion;

STAR – LRT bailout costing RM3.256 billion;

National Sewerage System bailout costing RM192.54 million;

Seremban – Port Dickson Highway bailout costing RM142 million;

Kuching Prison bailout costing RM135 million;

Kajian Makanan dan Gunaan Orang Islam bailout costing RM8.3 million;

Le Tour de Langkawi bailout costing RM3.5 Million ;

Wholesale distribution of tens of millions of shares in Bursa Malaysia under the guise of NEP to cronies,

children and relatives of BN leaders and Ministers worth billions of ringgits;

APs scandal that has been going on year-after-year going back for more than three decades,

involving a mind-boggling sum of tens of billions of ringgit;

Alienation of tens of thousands of hectares of commercial land and forestry concessions to children

and relatives of BN leaders and Ministers worth tens of billions of ringgit;

Travel around Malaysia and see for yourself how many white elephants like majestic arches,

roads paved with fanciful bricks, designer lamp posts, clock towers, Municipal Council buildings that
look more like Istanas, extravagant places of worship, refurbishment of residences of VIPs,

abandoned or under-utilized government sports complexes and buildings, etc!

Combined they could easily amount to hundreds of billions of ringgit!

Since 1997, Petronas has handed out a staggering RM30 billion in natural gas subsidies to IPPs

who were making huge profits. In addition, there was much wastage and forward trading of Petronas oil
in the 1990s based on the low price of oil then. Since the accounts of Petronas are for the eyes of the

Prime Minister only, we have absolutely no idea what the amount is.

Whatever amount it is, you can bet it is COLLOSSAL! In the Time Asia Magazine issue on March 15 2004,

a South East Asian economist at Morgan Stanley in Singapore, Daniel Lian, figures "that the country
may have lost as much as U$$100 billion (RM320 billion) since the early 1980s to corruption."

Mind you, this is only corruption and it does not include wastages and mismanagement which would

increase the amount!

If the above list (which could have been money saved) is added to the nation's coffers and together with

Petronas' profits; palm oil profits; and profits from rubber, tin, agriculture produce, aquaculture produce, electronic and hardware exports etc, for the past 5 decades, we can all agree on one thing

– our country would be wealthier than Venezuela who has little resources except for oil. The
petrol in Venezuela is RM0.16 per litre!

And we continue to fawn over PRINCIPLE. If your house is on fire, you will have to break down the door of your neighbor's house so that you can use his water. Of course, its against principle to breakdown doors that are not yours. Go ahead, lick up to Principle and let your house burn.

If somebody hump your wife or daughter, you allow it to happen because good principle says that voilence is a no-no. in such a case why don't you pimp her off and get some cash instead.

So I say, stop fcuking around with Principles. Cross-over and be done with it. If the Pakatan Rakyat fail us, we have the POWER, haven't we? If the cross-over doesn't happen I say to those who are still vacillating, go listen to this, an echo of what my friend the Ancient Mariner said: Eat Shit and Die. AND TO THOSE OF YOU WHO STILL WANT TO MAINTAIN YOUR PRINCIPLES, CARRY ON....IT IS YOUR CHOICE TO ALLOW THIS PLUNDER TO CONTINUE WHILST YOU HAVE A FITFUL SLEEP-THRU.

sigh...so much money down the drain...wonder where we wouldd have been now if those wastages didn't happen and the money was put to better use...perhaps i'm just being too idealistic now...

Consumer affairs minister, Shahrir Samad says there were no direct subsidy from Petronas???

What are these oil subsidies??? This is a hoax story to condition the minds of all Malaysians & hoodwink the general public on the believe that there are such the purported subsidies. There are no subsidies only a hoax to cheat the Malaysian masses. Every crude oil producing countries allocate a percentage their production for domestic consumption and the balance for export to earn foreign exchange. What is this nett producer & nett exporter of crude oil talking of the oil subsidies??? Look at Brunei & Saudi Arabia and the many more crude oil exporting countries do, both and all are nett producers & nett exporters of crude oil, there are no changes in the prices at their pumps for both petrol and diesel despite the whopping Crude Oil prices now reaching US$140/- per barrel, they are all enjoying boom and boost to their State Coffers with the greatest windfall of all times with record foreign reserves’ balances and also a boost to their economies, so why are we seeing the reverse in Malaysia??? There is obviously mismanagement of the funds from the power that be. Where are the windfall profits for Petronas gone to from the nett exports before or after being handed over to the Government??? A royal commission should be formed to investigate where have all the profits/funds earned from the exports had gone to???

Remove this deadly cancerous orang minyak, BN and all their cronies, throw out that rotten tyranny!!!

It is the right time that this grossly rotten, corrupt and incompetent flip flop tyranny called orang minyak that remove the hoax fuel subsidies & increase the electricity tariffs should also be removed… & to accomplish this, all & whoever, MPs from both BN or Pakatan Rakyat, it is your call now and as all the people of Malaysia are firmly behind you to remove this rot. Cannot imagine that a nett producer & nett exporter of Crude Oil has to do this, look at all the other crude oil nett exporters, there are no increases of prices of Petrol & Diesel at their pumps as both & all are nett producers and nett exporters of Crude Oil and they are now enjoying a boost to their state coffers & economies with a whopping windfall in oil prices of the current US$139/- per barrel that earned them huge foreign exchange reserves from their Crude Oil exports. But in Malaysia the reverse is true as there is no boost to the economy, but only sadness prevailed because the foreign exchange reserves from Crude Oil nett exports earned are poorly managed or badly mis-managed and no one knows where all the profits over the years had gone and we are saying a (large chunk of) the 700 or more Billions earned had disappeared and there is no accountability by the tyranny moron power that be. Otherwise we are having a boom time to our state coffers and a boost to our economy and we should be celebrating and why is that bloke orang minyak/moron is projecting gloom at this wonderful time. All the monies earned by Petronas must have been woefully squandered & cheated by the orang minyak moron or unless otherwise the Petronas'President & CEO Datuk Hassan Marican must have badly mis-managed the windfall earnings by selling our Malaysian sweet crude forward at low prices and buying low grade crude oil at a hefty high prices for local cunsumption??? If that is the case all Malaysians including those unborn ones have been betrayed by this cancerous Orang Minyak/Moron who has caused all these serious crimes, anarchies, chaos and inflations beyond comprehensions owing to the greed by this cancerous corrupted power hungry Moron/Orang Minyak who intended to stick to power beyond his welcome!!! We have all been betrayed by this Incompetent Government with all the failed projects and wastages of all the Malaysian Citizens' Hard Earned Blood & Sweat Funds that will give our future generations a bountiful legacy but are now squandered by the few now in power to cheat, pillage and harm the Malaysian Economy beyond any chance of revival with the Inflation Rate mounting owing to the greed of this Incompetent and Corrupt Government where all must decide to throw them off & out given this opportunity starting with the pioneering action of SAPP for whom we must give our full support by all opposition MPs and also those in the BN who have the conscience to safeguard the wellbeing of the future generations of all Malaysians of all races with no regrets and the only regrets are those selfish MPs that have no conscience & those who have supported this irresponsible & hopeless moronic tyranny.

I know just how you feel, Bernard. But things are indeed shifting faster than you think... fasten your seat-belts now, folks! When we hit warp speed the keris-waving shysters in Umno and their eunuch henchpersons will be left jabbing each other's eyes out in their own political limbo.

I find it so funny that, only when fuel prices, does everyone start jumping.

Blame the govt, blame the oil, blame everyone but themselves.

Everyone is guilty of the shit we are all in. The shit economy, shit security, shit everything.

One question. Do you smoke? if yes, do throw the cigarette butt on the floor or in the cigarette bin? If you throw it on the floor, you're an asshole cause it just shows what kind of person you are.

You shit everywhere, expecting someone else to clean it up.

That kind of behavior spills over into other aspects of your life.

And if you have 10 million with that kind off mentality, it is no wonder that Malaysia is in this kind off position.

I hate complainers....expecting the govt to pay for everything.
Fucking work hard.

life does suck and in a global oil runned economy its a fuckig harsh world. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Change govt, PR..there are the same guys that left UMNO cause they werent patient enough to be billionaires. Ask the great Anwar about his daddy's shady land development in Cheras and how he stalled on handing over the property to the buyers and fucking them over on the LAD. My uncle was one of the victims, paid through his nose to cover the loan.

I Hate both BN and PR. all talk. no solution. Damn polticians

hope to catch up with you for a tipple or three one of these days.

We'll said bro. Lucky I am an atheist... no principles or dogma. I only want a better Malaysia.

about the PAS issue:

1) PAS has so few seats in Selangor

2) The King of Selangor has expressed his dissapointment & called the protestors trivial & hypocritical

3) There are certain people in PAS whom wish to leave for & might be working to destroy PAS' credibility. Trojan horses.

3) If you have been on the ground, you will know that the majority of people in Selangor includding the Muslims are very progressive, modern & the more liberal kind. If you take a vote, I can guarantee that around 70 to 80% of the people at least will vote against setting up an Islamic State & implementation of hudud laws.

4) The worst crime: PAS campaigned & left the Islamic State ideal out of the GE campaign & promised to work with PR, including DAP. DAP's stand is simple, religion is personal thing, Islam is the official religion, the Muslims have their Syariah courts, freedom & non oppression is important for a healthy state, divide & rule tactics need to be removed, DAP has no interest in meddling with Islam (personal ain't it!), Daulat Tuanku!

5) The most simple argument: If there is a election soon, PAS might already be playing into UMNO's hands by bringing up the Islamic State issue now & the theatrics of the PAS youth. If they dont discipline them in public or sack them from the party (& the Supreme Council must also make an announcement of its stand), I fear that PAS might be thrown out of Selangor, Penang & Perak for sure.

Do not organise a counter protest where this PAS demo people may be. I am also urging everyone not to go for the Fuel Protest. This is from my source, listen to me if you want. Read Malik's latest post for some idea to what I mean. I'm dead serious on it. Focus your efforts on converting fence sitters & towards changing the Federal government.

Get ready to go to war & kick UMNO Baru Ass!

Zorro, brilliant comment! It’s good to meet people who’re not hypocrites, and truthful instead! Some of the so-called principled idiots, would rather go on being ruled by the human rights abusers from the Umno/BN *****! And then, dare to lecture people who seek justice, what’s principled and what’s not! I’d shout at them, JUSTICE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PRINCIPLE, IDIOTS! !

ha!ha!ha! a good one. I agree with you that if anwar does not have the numbers, he should just admit it. Tak payah-lah cakap banyak-banyak like the recent announcement whereby he mentioned that some MCA guys are jumping over and thereafter we see all the denials. This sort of development only create confusion amoung the people and nothing elses. So is it that all the while we are just hearing empty talks?
Personally I do not think anwar has the numbers yet. His hope lies in Sabah and Sawarak and not over here. Over here all the BN MPs are so well fed that there is practically no reason for anyone of them to cross over.

Again we hear party whip
BN MPs must toe the line
This isn’t democracy
This is self preserving interest

All MPs must vote
On their conscious
It is for the people
Don’t you forget!

Party whip
It shouldn’t happen
The MPs must represent the people
It shouldn’t be kowtowed to BN party

The people have declared
The power in our hands
The voters who decide
Don’t you forget!

The big fat dinosaur
It can’t move at all
Using party whip to make a point
It is time it should be barbequed
For the good of the people and country

The party whip
The oily flow
The people know
It shouldn’t happen
Don’t you forget!

50 years altho not everything is bright and sunny, yet there is still basis to start from. Is it better to start fresh all over witha totally new govt OR revamp and drastically improve this 50 years of system. For what a see the new so called govt headed by Anwar is nothing but only talk right now, with no basis of history to back it up, all the ppl in them are new people, they have limited knowledge about governing.

What are the odds PR wont screw up more than BN? (if not entirely, but at a more RAPID rate, i doubt it takes 50 years.)

Sir,

You must be commended for the litany of researched screw-ups that we citizens have let be (or forced into letting be).

Unfortunately, those who profess to be in politics includig all the activists and religious leaders continue to remain mum, indiffrent or worst, some are castrated in mind and soul.

Menawhile the rape of this nation continues and the way things are going the game is not over.

So, would we be slammed for predicting that Malaysia is down that same road of utter desolateness that some nations near and far have plouged into?

With each passing day we who have lived for over half a century can confidently conclude that indeed Malaysia's history is a RUNAWAY WAGON.

Malaysia is blessed for having so many jokers like you. keep on writing Bern old Bern. Thats the only left with you. Since you hardly get anything you worked for, done and successful!

You might want to change your tactic into something more outrageous like our due bro, Raja.

Have you ever thought why the govt never really care to bother you? Its simple actually. You are nothing. While other of our union people dared to come up with issues, new issues without fear, YOU just hide behind us and used our materials and issues, copying and pasting as yours only later to claim that you are so much being part of us too.

Be brave la beb. You only know how to talk but the true you NEVER DARE TO WALK ALONE AND WALK THE TALK.

See you at the PLACE mate.

Hehe, I have long abandened the concept of Principles as far as Malaysian Law, Police, Government servants and Politicians is concerned.

Reasons, there is Law, but they are forumlated with no Principles in mind and much worst by prople of no principles.

Uncle Bernard,

It were Principles and Restraints that had prevented this nation from melting into Anrachy so far.

Because of Principles we have lost much time... but it is not time to abandon them. What is needed is Perseverance with a pinch of Patience, and by God's kind providence, Principles shall soon be established.

It is NEVER right at any one time to abandon Principles... for it is faithful adherence to Principles that defines and distinguish the good men from the beastly men.

In my thread I am not advocating the abandoning of principles carte blanc. The do play an important part in our lives. Pls read my take in the context whereby blind adherence to "principles" aka loyalty to party; dont rock the boat; dont make waves et al. I am not encouraging anarchy. I am sticking to what I said even if labelled a beastly man. Time will tell if the beast has tamed the "good" men.
