One thing is certain. Obama had four years and
the people decided he deserves another term and no more as per constitution. BN
had 55 years and nothing to show except mega projects to line the deep pockets
of their cronies. We will not give you ANOTHER TERM
because we want to transform the EC, the PDRM, the MACC, the Judiciary, Education,
and the various enforcement agencies that do shit all except to accept graft as
a way of life.
Obama eliminated Osama and your cousin chastised
the Indonesians for killing a Malaysian terrorist, claiming that if handed to
him he could rehabilitate him. Dang, that would deprive the terrorist of his 72
virgins!
Obama was against Israel attacking Iran; he is
calling back his troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.
When Obama took over in 2008, the US economy was
in tatters. BN had 55 years and we are in deficit for the last 14 years, lost
trillions and continue to do so!
The CIA chief resigned because of a known misdemeanor
and BN has a porn star as chief of MCA! Insanely incongruous right?
LANCHEOW, we will give your coalition another
chance. My mother tongue Hokkien says it as it is. If anyone objects to this……just
too bad, yah?

These bastards just don't know when to quit! Shameless cretins even had the gall to equate themselves with the Obama administration in asking to be re-elected!Yes,LANCHEOW it is!
Zorro
Those brainless d$%#heads in BN indeed do have a L*%Ch^#& sitting on their shoulders. That's the only head they ever used in the 1st place.
Your write contains a consistent incidence of lies and falsehood. Some points are correct but the perpetuation of lies is shameful. To say that for 55 years bn show nothing but mega projects is untrue misleading and full of bad faith. The truth is far from it.
Be conscionable. You condemn others for lying manipulating and being deceitful. Please don't do the same. It's shameful and hypocritical.
Umnoputras will be out after this GE13th.They know that Umno/BN is fuc*ed.That is the reason they are hanging on to enjoy their corrupted powers to the last minniscule drop.
We have one word for these farkers = lukiholangkan (go fuck yourself)
Now this shameless Umno already had 55 years to prove themselves to all the Malaysians what they can do for them. One thing for sure they have proven they are very very good at. That is to steal from the people and above all to commit atrocities all these 55 years. They now even have the audacity to ask to be given another term in the name of serving the people. What the hell do you think we are, stupid or retarded ? You may be thieves and robbers but we are not going to tolerate all your pretenses and your pleas. We rather believe in lucifer than in you because you have 55 years of deceits and frauds to prove. 55 years is surely a long time to prove what you are capable of and it shows in the records. You are just plain thieves and robbers and above all you should be kicked out of Putrajaya not just in the coming GE but years ago. Therefore people of Malaysia you have been too generous and kind to these scumbags and parasites long enough and it time to have them replaced, no buts and ifs just vote them out of Putrajaya in the coming GE !
These morons just want another term so just to finish the atrocities they have been doing. Between now and the GE they will come up with more monies to buy votes and then introduce more taxes to claw back more than they hare giving you plus even more monies for them to steal, just vote them out of Putrajaya once and for all times ! Better still have them, if they are still around, indicted for all the crimes they have committed and all their lackeys removed for good. Enough is enough !
Let us all have a collective effort, gather these UMNO motherfcukers and dump them in the shit hole. Enough is enough. Give me back my beautiful Malaysia, I shall return!
I am with Ellese A totally. 55 years and so many success to show for it.
Only old farts Din and Zorro have blinkered eyes. Maybe age-old cataract.
what has Pakatan did in 8 years. Nothing except to fool people. Parti Kelentong Rakyat.
Every nght without fail you see people protesting for not getting free water.
Ellese A, what you said maybe true depending how you see it. Yes BN cosmetically have shown "achievements" but, done more on personal corrupted effort. You can't milk a cow if you do not breed one, can you? Even when you cheat, you must pretend that you are seen to be doing something commendable. Ratio 2 for the nation : 3 for my pocket.
Zorro got BR1M and is waiting for the next one in January. Will spend it to Yam Seng. Shameless septuagenarian.Hospital bills and pension all taken care of by the government. Ungrateful.
Second richest country after Japan in Asia in the 1960s to now competing with the likes of Vietnam and Philippines seem to be achievements for some of your readers . In virtually every field , BN has taken us down . Our universities are so lowly ranked , our professionals can't even speak decent English , govt lawyers so brilliant they can strangle themselves and sports where even war torn Laos have become a threat to us. The only field we have excelled in is racism , corruption , cronyism and incompetence !
I don't understand this thinking of beng grateful to a govt . It is the govt that should be grateful to the people for being given the honour to serve us. It is expected of a govt to utilize the full resources of a country for the benefit of its citizens . If they do it properly , we say well done , not thank you . If they do not do it properly , kick them out. We have enough resources in this country that with a clean competent govt , Malaysia would have been so rich that no Malaysian would have to depend on handouts of rm500 of our own money
Only in Malaysia you could rule for 55 years and the shout is Malaysia Bolih! Nobody have to be grateful to any Government and to be reelected, they must rule fairly, justly and corupt free!
Sir, lancheow is too good a word to decribed these phony politicians...
55 years..isn't that the pension age??...so bn and its "grateful" dick head supporters can go fcuk sharizats cow for not knowing that a govt elected by the people is to serve the people not the other way round...i will be "grateful" if the bn thieves open up the media to PR....parti laknat dan bangsat negara..tu lah BN...tuuuiii..LAMPAH !
Haha Zorro, looks like your agenda is going to fail. We have Malaysians who are extremely happy with the crumbs and bones that BN thrown them once in awhile. They are singing praises for these thieves and robbers. They are a satisfied lot, you cannot really blame them if they still prefer to live like that. It's a free country ... or at least Malaysia claims to be.
The glaring fact is that millions of Malaysians think and behave like these scavengers. They cowered at the slightest displeasure displayed by these thieves and robbers. They prostrate and kiss the hands of the leaders of these thieves and robbers. With such masses of dimwits, you will have more of BN for the next 4 years and eternity.
I'd say, all you dissenters, just move all the way south or north and each go their own way. No arguments about who is better or not.
To Elise and dyed-in-the-wool Umno fanboys and fangirls. After 55 years of misrule, Umno has somethign to show to the world - corruption, bigotry, lies, cronyism and many more. Congrats to Umno. Well done to those farkers.
Corruption must be stopped.
Ubah is the only way!
Very very sad to hear that the international community has once again labelled us as the next little tiger grouped along with Philppines, Vietnam, Indo...20 years ago we were grouped together with Spore,Japan,Korea Taiwan as Asia's 5 tigers.....all those nations became financial leaders now,but we have to compete round 2 with some new kids in town! I beg our present leaders PLEASE make it this time bcos the 3rd round tigers grouping would be with Burma,Cambodia,Laos,Papua New Guinea and Timor Leste...it's unthinkable, my beloved YBs!
Hi zorro . gv the big lancheow to bn and dont forget to use ur lancheow to knock on the head of bumi boy and ellise to wake them up . got screwed 55 yrs and asked for more. maybe got screwed until numb already..
The light of our times
We have missed it so many
The years we live in fear and divide
We are afraid to change the script
We wear the same masks
We think we are different
The class of fear and divide
The multi-coloured and multi-lives
When will we wake up?
We have read and seen
The corrupted leaders in government
The little napoleons running free
The set of laws in the country
The ruling leaders have their ways
The agencies will not touch them
They forget who are paying..
The light in Deepavali
The shining beacon of hope for many
The change of chess players
A new team should come to play
Very funny above. I will refrain from replying in kind to those who went personal against me for now. It's very easy to reply to them coz I don't need to exercise an iota of thinking.
Now my main contention is that we should not lie and spread falsehood. If any of you disagree with me say so. If you adopt this method I don't give chance punya because you are not honourable. You and the person you criticized are in the same boat. You cannot call a kettle black.
My argument is simple. Everywhere around the world one of the foremost criteria people judge their leaders is the ability to improve ones quality of life. Look at US recent election. Look at Uk election. Mana2 lah around the world. Its called by many names but i think it's well encapsulated during the Clinton era when its called "the economy stupid". Of course there are many other criterias such as integrityobjects is Delivery has been most foremost in most voters. Those above who look down on people who value this certainly are full of hatred to understand this. Obama, Romney Clinton etc etc including Mahathir LKY understood this. Delivery is essential and that's what many wants to see.
And in this BN has delivered in bounds and leaps. I can go on various recognized internationally data to prove this if you want coz it's just a repeat for me. But many actually see their livelihood improved from the merdeka day. See how their children becomes more educated. See how weved developed in leaps and bounds in social infrastructure and convenience. They feel the policies adopted by bn and looking forward see a continuity of this in the etps and nkras as the way forward. if you want I can elaborate and detail out.
This is where pr fails to see. The deep seated hatred blind them from reality and in self denial mode. I've stated over and over again. Pr could have won hands down had they concentrated on delivery. Excuses after excuses were given. Tak cukup duit lah. Unfriendly beurocrats lah. They are new kids on the block lah. But they fail to realise that many see that PR politicians are no dissimilar to BN. PR commits and condone cheating, fraud manipulations deception lies etc. these are values people see too. The recent case on dap attack on bnm forex loss is a case in point. Tony and LKS wanted bn government and Mahathir to be accountable for the huge loss. But a blogger showed the world the writings of Lks on the subject who had then held Anwar personally liable and cheating the public. People see these values. Pkr election amplifies this.
Of course bn has many fundamental flaws but they too have contributed greately to the nation's well being. To say that bn has not contributed anything is certainly false and a lie. You cannot lie all the time and claim moral highground. Lynas has demonstrated greatly how a lie affected credibility. Until now no one has been able to articulate reasonably their objections of lynas.they change goal posts all the time. People see useless politics by politicians.
So let's debate. There's more things and data that I need to elaborate.
This is what we get after 55 years of BN !!!!

You're funny anon. Ive gone through many of this list debate. I dont believe you know what you put down pun. But before I comment on the list I assume that you agree with my comments that BN had also done a lot of good things during the 55 years. Ive never met anyone who is able to articulate a case that BN has not been able to deliver anything like Zorro ridiculously state. I take you're like them. Otherwise if you want we can go in detail which I very much doubt you can after reading through the list.
As I said before, BN has many flaws but their good delivery should not be denied. We should not propagate falsehood and lies by telling BN has not contributed anything substantial. We must stop this deceit.
Unfortunately, this list provided by Anon contains many falsehood and lies. A number of items cant be attributed to BN and would happen under PR as well. Its such a bad copy and paste that the writer doesn't know that the list points to the fact that we should not elect PR as well.
Just go through the list. The biggest loss to the national coffer is the 30 Billion BNM forex loss. According to LKS in his book, he blamed this squarely on Anwar and even called him lying and misleading the public . The biggest loss that a nation ever suffered and probably a combine of more than half of the list by Anon is the full responsibility of this one man Anwar according to LKS. How can we ever allow PR led by Anwar even to lead the country? He has the cheek to argue hes not responsible for things under his ministry but pass the buck upwards. Totally unbelievable. You see how cut and paste this job is.
Similarly on lie no 2 on the IPP subsidy. The electricity subsidy is incurred by Pertronas when they sell low gas to IPPs and TNB. As a result of which we get lower electricity tariff than even developed countries. Now the effect of giving up this policy and allow Petronas to sell gas at market price is that we as rakyat will have a higher electricity tariff. Our price and inflation will go up then. And isnt this against Barang Naik policy of PR. Lie no 2.
Similarly with many other losses. How does the Sime loss relate to BN. Its a public listed company. How does it hurt the national coffer as its owned by a trustee company of PNB group. BN was not involved in the ogp qatar and maersk projects. How in the world is BN accountable for this? Similarly with Maybank BII deal. At the end it was proven profitable for Maybank as in 2011 they stood to make more than RM2.5 Billion paper gain from that transaction. So stop lying and propagate falsehood. State things which are reasonable and true. Dont try to include false info and lies just to make the list look longer. Its shameful and purely stupid.
BN has to go. Whatever little good they have achieved has been negated completely by all the corrupt practices over the years.
A classic example is the North South Highway which should have been constructed by MHE with low interest from G2G loans. But instead, the whole project was given to a suspended company UE and we are now paying high tolls instead of just a fraction of that if MHE were to be given the job.
ABU is the only way.
Adam.
I disagree with you on nkve. I think toll road is the fairest form of taxation. If I don't use it I shouldn't be paying. Plus highway is an excellent example of successful privatization. The roads facilities and maintenance are much better had it been undertaken by jkr/ government bodies. The tremendous growth we encountered in the past among others is due to these toll roads. Had the government not privatized we would have lesser roads and a ballooning of our national debt. (this would be against PR stand). As is, Nkve has proven as a growth catalyst in the previous recessions.
I will defend the policy as it makes economic sense. But I'm against profiteering at expense of rakyat. Profits are fine but not excessive profits. The current toll roads model are more acceptable. If the concession exceeds a predetermined cars usage, the government should be entitled to the share of the profits. This is fine by me and we can argue.
Most of the objections on toll roads as alternative to existing roads are misplaced and driven by blind hatred. Tony phuas suggestion to take back all the concessions are foolish and will give us unnecessary debt and costs without any improvement in delivery. It doesn't make economic sense and to me recklessly stupid. For this issue I cannot agree with DAP stand and cannot see why others can agree to this unless blinded by partisan hatred.
Ps I've gone through this debate on dap n tony proposal during the takeover of plus by Epf. I've left my comments even at his blog. I can go through again. Politicians are smart. They can make rubbish comments and have many gullible people to believe its true.
Naj1b now blackmail Indians with the batu cave condo project?
A man who has died was asked by God if he wanted to go to Heaven or Hell. He said that he was unsure and wanted to take a look at both places first before making a decision. So he was transported to Heaven where he saw an idyllic village life: boys were playing football in the field and people were chatting happily in the al fresco foodstalls by the roadside. Women were drying out their washing and everything was very ordinary.
Next, he was transported to Hell. There was fine dining in an expensive restaurant with lobsters and caviar on the menu while pretty and sexy young ladies with plunging necklines were the waitresses.
Then it was time to make a decision.
“Where do you want to go?” God asked the man.
“Hell,” he replied firmly, thinking that Heaven was too boring a place for him.
“Are you sure?” God asked him.
“Sure, I am absolutely sure,” he answered.
“Really, really sure?” God asked him again.
“Of course, I am 100% sure,” answered the man without any hesitation and a little bit annoyed at being asked the same question again. And so he heard a loud bang and he landed in Hell.
But what he saw was parched, arid land with big cracks and small fires here and there. There was no food or water in sight except some very smelly rubbish. There were also many demons hopping around.
He called the Devil and asked for an explanation, “What is the meaning of this? I was in Hell earlier and there was fine dining and sexy ladies but now it is totally different. Can you explain what is going on?”
The Devil replied, “What you saw earlier was our campaign to you.”
It is time for Iall Malaysians to see the real facts and figures.
Do you want to wait another 55 years?
Ellese,
"But I'm against profiteering at expense of rakyat." You have said it all. Please check how much UMNO and their cronies have benefited from UE. Highways are good but implementation is real bad. Look at all the tolled highways in the Klang valley. Everywhere you go, tolls, tolls, tolls! Privatization in Malaysia sucks! It is more like piratization. Enough said.
Adam.
You are obviously blind. I have no issue on plus. It's one of the first highway. For any first generation concession worldwide (I repeat worldwide) the first concessionaire will always have better terms as its not bankable yet. No one has a bloody clue what's the expected cars using the road. It's a public project that Mahathir brilliantly gamble to create further evonomic impetus during recession and it worked bloody well. On economic terms the tolls are still affordable. That's why you see so many cars.
I will have problem if we don't improve. Like in power purchase agreement we have moved to third or 3.5 generation of PPA where the private sector shares the risk. As banks become more comfortable and familiar they're able to assess the risk more efficiently. Similarly in toll roads concession. We can predict the cars better and I'm for the new model of sharing the profits back to the government. Theres no more government guarantee. What is your problem with this?
Don't be populist saying you don't want toll. I tell you it's the fairest form of tax. In fact because of our successful privatization model I applaud the government for giving the best connectivity comparable or better than developed countries. I can travel to Ampang from shah Alam then head to cheras and then to equine park and then back to shah Alam without going through any traffic lights and still be back by evening. Previously I have to go through umpteenth taman with so much traffic.
You better get rid of no toll idea. There's plenty of free roads. Those who want shorter time travel must be willing to pay for it. The fact that many uses the highway shows its still affordable. The issue of profiteering is different. Toll must be maintained to create an economic option for faster route. To restrict profiteering is by taking the toll profits and giving back to the government's coffer. Comprende!
I am also not against tolled highways but on how they are awarded and implemented. If they are for the benefit of the Rakyat, why are the contracts put under OSA and not for public consumption? Obviously, there are some unfair terms to hide from the Rakyat as what Donplaypuks has said in his recent post.
MHE has been building highways all this while and they could subcontract sections of the highways to many capable contractors. Toll collection would then be handled by the government direct with lower tolls to be collected over a longer period.
Any profits could then be directly taken by the government for the Rakyat's use. Instead now, the government has to re-imburse PLUS for insufficient traffic or some delayed rate increase.
Say what you will, this government has to go. As a senior citizen like Zorro, I have seen enough of all the wrong-doings of BN and we so desire a brighter future for our children before we call it a day.
Adam.
You're contradicting yourself. In fact for me the toll economics of the government make sense. If there's no toll were going to be worse off. All roads have same preference and be clogged. Like in all big cities worldwide we must use more tolls or use some other charges to make major roads less congested. Allow more public transport use. The governments introduction of free go kl busses is good as a first step. The expansion of rail service is good. Their problem is to provide shades for us to walk. But abolishing toll is a no no to me. It's a stupid move. If Pr abolishes this, I cannot vote pr on this. I cannot vote for stupidity.
Your argument on UE and nkve is typical ignorant prejudiced view. In all first generation concession contracts, without the guarantee on the cars passenger number it's not bankable. See development in other countries. It's a first and banks will only invest if their investment is secured. That's why it's there. But weved moved from that point already. UE now is sharing all it's profits with government or public(Epf). The newer concession model shares the profits. So what are you talking about?
I can share your concern on the need to be classified. But your conclusion is way off. You see too many shadows. I've seen some of these contracts and seen overseas as well. As I said I will have big issues if we don't move to a more profit sharing model. If you want I can discuss general but not specific terms which we all ask. But to conclude piratisation is unfair. The governments main concern is always toll charges and bank ability. That's why it's affordable. You even use it man. Theyve didn't expect then that it can be very profitable. But what's your problem is that its to whom it's paid. This should not be an issue if we get our model right. Focus on the model. EC new approach to tender for IPP should be followed. You must know what you want. Otherwise we get change of persons only. Like the budget issue. You complain about bn deficit budget making us bankcrupt but pr has been presenting the same deficit budget even after taking into account corrupt practices. Similarly with toll roads issue. Unless you're clear you won't get anything from pr. For me I'm clear. On this toll roads I think dap tony phua model will make us worse off and incur unnecessary debts. It's sheer stupidity. Please see my comments on his blog. For this we cannot support PR.
No wonder many bloggers do not answer you after an exchange or two. Your rationale appears a little warped to say the least.
One more time I am telling you that I am NOT against tolled roads if they are implemented in the best interest of the Rakyat instead of the privatised companies. Did you know that Lim Kit Siang and many others were ISAed mainly for opposing the North-South Highway? He was not against the project proper but opposed giving the job to UE, a suspended company which has not built any roads before. LKS termed the project as the RM60 billion scandal. He was right almost to the dot.
As for PR/DAP Tony Pua working to buy back the tolled highways, I am very confident that it would benefit the Rakyat in the long term as in the water issue. Their one main aim is to lighten the burden of the Rakyat instead of thinking of just profits.
I am pretty sure you would be replying to my comments again. Unless I find it absolutely necessary to respond, I will call it a day with you and let it rest for now...until we meet again.
Adam.
Dear Adam,
Hopefully this is the last response from me as well.
Tony phua's idea doesn't make sense. In order to take over you need to terminate all these concessions. You have to pay for future income for these contracts whether it's by force or by mutual consent. This will cost billions and billions. And on top of that you still need an operator for all the concessions. You're paying twice. This is not considering we're going to become a pariah state for terminating these contracts forcefully. Now don't you think it's better to spend these money on more urgent public infrastructure like more train or mrt lines. The roads are already affordable and can pay for itself. It's one of the most preposterous idea that we must reject.
On the discussion on toll roads, didn't you argue "Look at all the tolled highways in Klang valley. Everywhere you go told tolls tolls! Privatization in Malaysia sucks!.... And when I explain the need for toll highways you suddenly say you have no objection for toll pula. Then couch a proviso it must be in the interest of rakyat. I've already explained that we have the best highways and connectivity comparable with developed world. The tolls are affordable as evidenced by cars usage. UE has done tremendous good job. They are competent and Lks is wrong to disrepute their capability. It's a fact already. Nse also helped pull us out of the economic recession. On top of it it's now owned by government and public (Epf). And why is this not for rakyat benefit? I've already explained the need on guarantee for first generation concession which is typical worldwide. You just don't like who does it. It's your problem lah. I'm happy with our model though we still need to improve. The way forward is we maintain the model but further twitch and improve. We plough back as much profit back to government. On toll we must always use them as an economic tool.
And lastly I do note that on one hand you're okay for toll system but on the other hand you support dap preposterous idea to abolish toll. Please at least be consistent. And if you don't have points to argue don't claim others have warped logic. Just put down your points lah. I too see you're driven by the hatred warped logic.
There is a dark side of Sungei Way, where, some of the Indonesian factory girls are “victims” to our police’s sexual urges. Every night, you can see police cars patrolling in the area and Indonesian factory girls getting into the car and the police car then drives to a dark secluded spot in the Sungei Way village to be parked for some “fun”.
I have on numerous occassions followed these police cars and from a distance, observed what these police officers are up to. All I can see is the police car shaking. I can only assume that something inappropriate is going on.
After about 20 minutes, the car drives back to one of the houses to drop of the girl and goes off. This happens daily. These houses, mostly bungalows, house about 20 Indonesian girls each.
On some occassions, they drive of the girl to a remote location elsewhere and bring her back several hours later. I doubt whether the girls are brought to the police stations as when they alight from the car close to midnight, they seem to be smiling and happy and interact with the police officers in a jovial and friendly manner.
Now, I am not speculating anything but, obviously, these girls do whatever the police officers ask them to do because they are of authority and these girls are scared of these officers.
I have asked a number of Indonesian men working in the village what really happens, and according to them, these girls, all of whom have no proper documents provide “services” to these officers to be let lose.
Whether what these girls do is consensual or not, it is unbeconming of the police force to indulge in such activities. Obviously, there is a form of rape going on daily because these girls have no choice but to condone and conform to the advances of these police officers being foreign workers without proper documentation to enter our country.
But what shocks me is that, these girls who have come into the country illegally, somehow have figured out, how to “settle” the police when they are caught. It is high time we set up a police commission. The police seem to to be having too much powers and abusing it.
It is because of this boleh settle attitude, crime has gone sky rocketing. Criminals are no more scared. They commit whatever crime they want and on the freak chance they are caught, they just “settle” the matter and are let lose the very day they were caught.
I have many senior lawyer friends who can verify that this has become the system in Malaysia. According to them, money buys your release and the more grave the crime, the higher the price that needs to be paid but every criminal case can be sorted out out of court.
Rumour has it that even for murder, a mere RM1 million will make the whole case disappear and the “fail hilang”. Just imagine, a mere RM1 million, someone’s family will suffer because there won’t be any justice done. The same with rape, there is a price for that too.
Let me reiterate again, crime is rampant solely because criminals do not fear the police at all as “everything can be sorted out”. Occassionally, the police “sacrifice” one or two individuals to show they are impartial and doing their job but the general consensus amongst criminals are that everything can be bought.
Now, my article might not be published because it may be termed as too sensitive but dear editors, let’s face facts, crime has gone to uncontrollable levels. It is up to you guys to highlight this issue so that a body maybe set up to check on the irregularities of the police.
Catching criminals is one thing, but when criminals are absolutely not scared of the police because of their belief that they can be released if they settle their cases with monetary payout, the country would soon turn into a cowboy town.
It is no better than people carrying gun and just shooting each other and not following the rule of law as seen in the Wild Wild West. If we love our country, we have to bring the rule of law back into the country and an enforcement division that is strict in enforcing criminals are brought to justice.
