POLITICS IS ALL ABOUT......

You have heard many things about politics and are probably bored by now:

That

it is the art of the possible,

the refuge of the insincere,

a most honorable adventure,

a dirty business,

frog farming,

………ad infinitum……..

ad nauseum

What’s left out from the above is that it is the art of compromise, of coming round from your position about halfway and meeting the other side so that you can achieve a modus vivendi - a temporary arrangement between contending parties.

That’s what is called for in the case of the Sabah PKR 12 who have been marked for expulsion. They were supposed to be off the hook for registering a party because of a peace pact last December. But details of the pact were not written in stone.

Now that has become the subject of a dispute that could rip Sabah PKR apart. Not just that. The party’s chances would be affected in the upcoming Sarawak state elections.

The stakes are high. PKR cannot afford a Borneo meltdown now. Also, if you think that by suspending and booting out the 12, there will not be another 12 to take their stead. Just you watch.

Unless you are in the business to promote

SERIAL factionalism.

Do we want that?

Compromise, it’s better than you think.

Compromise, it’s less difficult than you know.

DANG PAKATAN, I thought we are in this to WIN. Why go into the race if you do not want to win. Being second in a race means that you are the first amongst LOSERS!

PKR are made mainly made up of those former umnoputeras who did not get their fair share of kick-back. They defect here and there.
How do yu expect them to be a force to be reckoned with?

Umno is so desperate that they need to pull out every trick in the book to ‘unite’ the Malays. And the only way to unite the Malays is to create an anti-Malay/anti-Islam bogeyman. And that is why the race and religion rhetoric has been stepped up of late -- since the March 2008 general elections.

ONE VIEWPOINT ON POLITICS

Politics is often all about more power and money
With very few not thinking like a tricky monkey
How to be well off without working like a donkey
Never to slog hard like a bee to gather all the honey

it would appear that the perkasa people-followers/ leaders are just lending a hand to create issues and if possible make a mountain
of a molehill in any small islamic 'creative'
misdeeds involving the opposition

About a hundred years ago, it was remarked that
the englishman made law for his fellow man just
as he made them for his dog. In this current period it would appear pseudo-religio ustads
are doing the same for any issues involving petty social thingies that may have very little
or no religious connotations.

why?

it would appear that there is v little wrong
done by the opposition so much so our national
ball's carrier [ perkasa ] had to make a meal out of a non issue.

the tragic part of all this is ameno is trying to find fault with whatever the opposition is
doing even if the pr politicos are doing good.

In the tbh inquest, I cannot for the life of me understand why -
a senior lawyer, a dato at that , had to make a
comic of himself to propose a theory
which palpably cannot hold water.

It would appear that that this is a desperate time and ameno is using desperate measures.
morally bankrupt leaderships from the mca/ gerakan/ mic have nothing to contribute but hope that something will give so that they can continue with their atrocious run
of the country With money making schemes and
self enrichment ploys for self and cronies.
