Yesterday I posted Hishamuddin Rais’ posting remembering Zaid some 38 years ago. I titled the posting THE REAL ZAID IBRAHIM.
"According to The Deputy Prime Minister and his hired hands, one of the issues plaguing my candidacy is my disciplinary record, specifically of being suspended by UMNO for money politics. As a result of that, they conveniently use this to accuse me of everything under the sun: corrupt, greedy, wealthy, etc.
As always, the truth will set you free. It is perhaps something UMNO is unfamiliar with. Time and time again, they continue to underestimate the intelligence of the rakyat and try to confuse them with fiction, but the rakyat knows better."

I should say Zaid Ibrahim is The Better Choice, at least he is a gentleman and admitted his past "mistakes."

Despite all the complaints Umno/BN said about this man, he drank and he owns race horses, he was first made a Senator and then became a minister of law in the Umno/BN government.
Surely the government must have known all these before appointing him and why do they bring the matters up now ? It is as though he did all these in private, come on lah all those in Umno , KJ in particular,stop throwing stones when all of you are living in glass houses.
Zaid Ibrahim has demonstrated, he is a man of principle, honest and compassionate. Well qualified to be a Law Maker of the country....compared to the BN rookie, Kamal, having no self respect and a stooge of UMNO.
The choice to pick which one of these two candidates as MP is glaringly clear and undisputed....
The advancement of this country to a better future is definitely,
not based on kissing the "Royal UMNO" hands alone...wisdom and common sense should prevail!
Fence sitters, I urge you to do the right thing......
