THIS WILL CONTINUE UNLESS....

pic courtesy of pyanhabid blog

IN most countries the Police Inspector General and the STATE Police Chief would have resigned in shame. If they do not resign, their resignation would be demanded by the Home Minister. If the Home Minister cannot execute these resignations, he should similarly resign.

PIC BY MOB1900

The aggrieved family and the immediate Shah Alam neighbourhood are rightly outraged at the circumstances of the police killing of 14-year-old student Aminulrasyhid as if he is a big-time gangster, causing one of the neighbours to exclaim:

“This is not Manchester or Los Angeles, this is bloody Malaysia”!

Difficult to be police nowadays, to act on suspect, you got screwed. To do nothing also got screwed. This is lot to do with their low pay. Low pay means low quality personnel despite any training.

But the biggest mistake I think is on the teenager. Why on earth he was allowed to drive a car without license at 2 AM morning? He is asking for trouble.

Anon@11.11pm,

In a civilised country where people think rationally, they will never question the victim. Sure, if the kid wasn't outside his home he would probably never been shot. But that doesn't make it his fault to be shot at. He could have well been outside his home, perhaps swing in the playground for a while AND return back home safely.

If you want to question, question the people who were actually responsible. And you blame on low pay? Do you know of the fact that a cop could only fire if a suspect is threatening? i.e. a cop can only fire if he is in danger. He can only use his weapon as a defensive mechanism, not an offensive one.

So regardless of low pay or not enough training, a cop can't just simply shoot down someone. Anyway, this is another NFA case.

If one does a web search for crime rates in Manchester and Los Angeles, one may be surprised to find out that crime rates have actually fallen in these 2 cities !

I never agree with your brand of politics.
But for this boy, I am 100 percent agreeable to whatever you decide.
As parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, uncles etc, we must all agree on this.

Yes, the boy was wrong to drive a car at 2am. He was underage and without a valid driving license.

BUT ... is his offence so serious that he deserved to get a bullet in the back???

Welcome to Malaysia ... 3rd world police force.

I am just a primary school boy but the IGP spoke more childishly than me. What a shame

Regardless of what actually happened, it is really unfortunate that this would happen.

But i am quite dissatisfied with the fact that all people seem to side with the family and sympathizing the victim. Yes I agree, the police should not have been as callous to shoot a victim.

But, the family should also be responsible for what happened to their family members. For a teenage boy of 15 to be allowed to drive a car, and with no permission, just incomprehensible. Part of this incident lies with the family too.

Most of the time, it is not easy for us to accept that our own family members would have committed a crime or wrongdoings.

Stern action should be taken against the family as well as the police personnel.

"Dr M: Perkasa helped BN bag Hulu S'gor"
.....Former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad today credited Malay rights advocates Perkasa for the increase in Malay support for Barisan Nasional during the Hulu Selangor by-election.......

While the whole nation worry about our safety and mourning for the deceases but our Mamak Kutty and the gangs still "shiok sendiri" about the HS "buy-election".

They should know it , the actual hero of this "buy-election" is Mr. RINGGIT" , not you, Mamak Kutty , Perkosa or Apno-BN.

Lawan Tetap Lawan !
We ,Rakyat will fight till we all get our basic rights.

Haven't we heard the people who said PDRM is PRDM...POLIS RAJA DI MALAYSIA?

assuming the shot that killed is a wayward or ricocheted bullet, its probably because they do not know how to shoot straight.

one possible solution is perhaps getting the rookies to line up on highways and long road stretches and use the Mat Rempits as targets?? Hey, they drive around illegally at night and they too seem suspicious riding their motorbikes at such speeds as if running away from something (a crime perhaps?). Promotion guaranteed if they shoot a speeding target in the head AND target is underaged!!

Keep the streets safe!!!

It's the rent-seeking Umno Baru culture. The only skill required to hold the post of IGP is to be totally thick-skinned when it comes to getting fat commissions from outsourced projects... and then to DENY everything when the shit hits the fan.

Why they keep cover up the police wrong doings and shit splash on his face and everywhere.

Dear Anon 29/04/10 @ 11.11pm,

We have heard the old grandmother's story of low pay being the excuse for the PDRM dismal performance. Giving the PDRM high pay does not ensure they will do a good job either. It only means they will live beyond their means and resort to even greater degree of corruption to finance their newly 'high pay" lifestyles.

We should look instead at the poor attitude and low mentality of the PDRM. The PDRM has no pride and no dignity, just like their PIG and their PIG's superior, the incorrigible Homo Minister. As a matter of fact, none of the BN politicians stooges have any pride. They only have their PRICE instead.

The only way for the PDRM to regain some pride is for the "Performance First" 1PM to sack the Homo Minister and the PIG and replace both of them with people of high integrity. Gosh, I must be dreaming the impossible dream for this to happen.

The Inspector General of Police is behaving more like a No.1 thug than a law enforcement officer employed to take charge of his men to keep the streets of this country crime-free and not act like a bunch of trigger-happy cowboys!

Malaysia's Police Force - what a sham, see the arrogance in Musa Hassan! I want to remind him that the rakyat/tax-payers are paying his salary, not his political masters and 'Rakyat Itu Raja', least he forgets!

The car had already been immobilised by shooting out its tires. As he got out, Claude Van Damme aka Arnold Swarzenegger went into Perfect Soldier - Total Recall mode. He had been programmed to equalise the statistics, where too many of one race only were being killed.

On a more serious note, this is happening elsewhere too, though the policemen responsible are ultimately held responsible. Does the standared issue of weapons more suitable in the battlefield not contibute to this danger? Are the municipal authorities who failed to install or maintain streetlights not guilty too? And does the barking of this leading public SERVANT not convey the strong message that caution is not a priority when dealing with us riff-raff?

Name me the country where the Police Chief resigned! ! ! is it China, is it India, is it Los Angeles, is it Manchester. Don't bullshit lah ! ! !
When a patrol car spotted a high speed vehicle at such odd hours in a highly rated crime prone area, to a highly alerted and trained policemen, this car was making an escape after committing a crime...it could be robbery, or house
breaking or even murder.....Zorro, it could be your house which was broken into....will you still blame the police personnel.
To make matters worse, they didn't even bother to stop when the policemen directed them to do so. The policemen didn't know who they were, whether boys or men, with valid driving license or not...how could they...so dark and speeding like hell.... driving license was not issue here....it was more of crime prevention, security and public order situation.

Nutty said "cop can only fire if he is in danger. He can only use his weapon as a defensive mechanism, not an offensive one."
Don't you think that the speeding car itself was a very dangerous weapon,( later on it was revealed that it was driven by a unauthorised and untrained driver. ) Many things can happen...i.e. it could knock down and killed somebody innocent, and that innocent guy happen to be Nutty' cousin, or Zorro's uncle, or LiM Kit Siang's nephew, or Latiffa Koya's relative.....you still blame the policemen....don't you think that the policemen have to use their weapon to stop that speeding car in order to protect the public and prevent any untoward fatal situation.
I salute the men in blues, my greatest admiration for their dedication and commitment in the discharge of their duties.
Zorro and company...it is typical opposition stance to exploit the issue for political mileage and rather unfortunate that you choose to demonising and bashing the PDRM.
Your are right...we are not in Los Angeles or Chicago where crime is committed every second....our country is peaceful...thanks to the IGP and the men blues.
Let the investigation proceed without fear or favour, transparent, and without any political exploitation by the unscrupulous politician.
