After appearing once and making a boo-boo about plasticine you went missing because you knew you were in for some frying from defence counsel J Chandra and Gobind Deo, I am just hoping that that training course in Taiwan has taught you how to be a professional cop and thus throw back at Gobind the tag he tatooed on you, i.e. you are a useless investigator.
If you do not appear, I will suggest to the Police Instpector General, to have you assigned to an investigation that is not so taxing and that requires less investigatibe skills - go look for the three pairs of shoes stolen from Tun Daim's house.

Superintendant Gan Tack Guan, the chief investigator of the murder of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu said that it was not C4 which was used to blow up her body. He said “If I am not wrong, one kind of plasticine explosive was used to blow up her body at an empty place at Puncak Alam.
It was not C4 (a type of explosive),” Supt Gan, who is Interpol’s National Centre Bureau assistant director based at Bukit Aman, told the packed courtroom.
Questioned further by Gobind Singh, Supt Gan said he did not know how the explosive was placed on the woman’s body before it was detonated.
“I was together with (another investigating officer) Asst Supt Tonny Lunggan," he said, prompting Gobind Singh to retort that “you are a useless investigating officer”.(Tonny is the guy who invited PI Bala for fish-head curry dinner the same day he made his first Statutory Declaration. YES?)
Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Raja Kamarudin claimed the prosecution was deliberately delaying his sedition trial when the complainant in his case was not available to be questioned by his defence team on Thursday 18 Dec 2008.
“Why must the prosecution bring this case to court today just to amend the charge and postpone it?,” Raja Petra, 58, told the Sessions Court.
“How long are we going to wait for Supt Gan Tack Guan (chief investigator in the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case and the complainant in Raja Petra’s sedition trial)?
“He was on medical leave earlier and is now gone for training,” he said

(The court went into recess to await the Medical Certicate. I just wonder if the MC was obtained from a Government Hospital, as required, and did it indicate that the applicant was unfit for work?)
What training! He is training on how to 'manufacture evidences' and how to fine tune the art of cut and paste job.
Justice delayed is justice denied.
Supt Gan Tack Guan (chief investigator in the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case) was not subpoenaed. Then why fix date for trial if one is not serious about attending court. The courts should know better. The training could have been postponed. Even the courts do not uphold the constitution.
Lawyer Gobind Singh Deo asked the court to direct the prosecution to close the case if they were unable to call Supt Gan to be cross-examined.
“Supt Gan is aware that the hearing has been fixed for four days but he deliberately chose to go away. He is a police officer and should know the procedure,” he contended.
Rozina said Supt Gan was not subpoened and set three days from Feb 10 for continuation of the trial.
HANTU however hinted that for certain class of refugees, Kolkata (ask Bala) has top billing.

Are you an expert Mr Gan? C4 is plasticine explosive or one of its kind. The general term for any explosives using plasticizer is plasticine explosive. Obviously C4 is one of them. So it does not matter what you called it as long as the thing explodes.

Sir, do you have photos of this Gan? Could you post them for all to see so we can recognize and spit on him next time we happened to see him? He may be under instructions from the top but as a senior police officer, he should know where to draw the line to uphold his integrity!
Tell you readers my cut. Best defence our rod-hot Gan can possibly cling on now is that of the former PM's momentarily relapse of memory (at most opportune time, of course). "I can't remember". Best reply for all occasion. Mahathir cannot remember the crucial moments during the Linggam Royal Commission of Inquiry. But the lurid details of his memory are as clear as daylight on the Sahara Desert whenever he feels like recalling at his whims and fancies. Come on, Gan. Follow your mentor's strategy. Gan is the polis supt who did the childish unprofessional cut and paste job to implicate Raja Petra.
In other word, Gan manufactured evidence against Raja Petra.
Gan as an accuser skipped court hearing not once but twice.
Why this case is still going on and waste public's money.Too bad i am not the judge.
ONCE UPON A TIME, Chinese Officers in PDRM were a creme within the force. They played and drink hard, but when it came to work, they can put most hard-core criminals (and lawyers)in their pockets.

I have been waiting for your comments on the rant by KK Eswaran that I watched on Malaysiakini. I was his schoolmate at Maxwell School, after he joined from LaSalle Sentul to do his Form 4 and 5. I remember teasing ( to put it lightly) him about his big mouth and even had a nickname for him , 1500. Because he went around boasting about how good a 1500 runner he was. If I recall accurately , his boast was he was training with the Jets team and was a state athletic. But he sure did not show up with the form for sports day. never cared to keep in touch with until I saw some comments in your blog and saw his photo. In school , he was neither called Kenneth Eswaran or KK Eswaran. The other thing I remember about him was his burning desire to join MIC.
