STILL MANAGING OUR AFFAIRS?

THEY WILL STILL BE AROUND? NOBODY, NOT EVEN THE PRIME MINISTER, NOT EVEN THE RULERS CAN REMOVE THEM FROM OFFICE?
WHAT TYPE OF GOVERNMENT IS THIS THAT CAN CONDONE AND ALLOW THESE PEOPLE TO MANAGE OUR AFFAIRS. THE OPPOSITION? NOT A SQUEAK OR A SQUAWK. PARLIAMENT IS IMPOTENT TO PASS LAWS TO DISQUALIFY THEM. MEANWHILE, THE AG SITS AND WAITS. THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT BOLEH LAND. YOU CAN BRING IN LOGS ILLEGALLY, JUST CLOSE ONE EYE; YOU CAN STEAL LAND FROM THE POOR AND BUILD A MANSION;INCITING RELIGIOUS HATRED IS NOT SEDITIOUS; GETTING AWAY WITH MURDER IS A NEW EXPLOSIVE ART-FORM; WHATEVER THEY DONT WANT US TO KNOW IS CALLED THE OFFICIAL SECRET ACT. IF THEY WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW POWERFUL THEY ARE IT IS CALLED THE INTERNAL SECURITY ACT. ALWAYS SOME ACT. MALAYSIANS TIME IS NOW TO ACT. DONT CARE IF THE MENTERI BESAR AT THE BOTTOM (actually what is so besar about these appointed ones?) DON'T SUBSCRIBE TO A BANGSA MALAYSIA. WE ARE, AREN'T WE? TIME TO TAKE THEM OUT ONE BY ONE....THESE SHAMELESS SOTONGS.

Just received an email from Patrina, DOZ (daughter of zorro) that Bahamas' minister of Immigration who was cuddling to speed up the late Anna Nicole PR status, has resigned. I was surprised.Politicians in Bahamas too never admit wrongdoings. But it is the right thing to do. Way to go Mr. Shane Gibson.

Don Diego, your comments are bitter to the mouth but oh so true. Very frustrating, very frustrating indeed. Its like being caught bumper-to-bumper on the Federal Highway. Curse and swear all you want but what can you do?

Halim, you cannot be more right. You know when you are caught in that jam, how you wished you had taken the other road but come tomorrow when you reach that junction again you go' ah what the heck it should be better today, they say the other road is full of potholes'.

The cops, the justice department, the aca, the immigration, the customs, the dewan bandarayas, the district office, heck I can go on and on.

This country is just plain dirty, stinks to the core.

calm down brother.... anger and hatred only leads to the darkside... we need to calm down and remain in the force.

Zewt, we have been too calm all this while....that tidak-apa-come-what-may attitude has to be set aside. Yes, there is anger, but not hatred. Anger focuses, hatred dissipates. Aside: You lost the way to NPC last night? Free Lunch, Desiderata, Politikus and her beau dropped by. There to welcome these first timers were BigDog, Landed Angel, Standup-philosopher, Shar101, Rocky, Nuraina, Kicker Sheih, the Allied Marster and humbly yours.

Halim: curse and swear all you want, what can you do? Me, I will use my vote. Can you? Will you? Just do it!The feel-good era is over. Time to act.

Anon frm Miri....gracias muchachos.

KTN...fill up the potholes and sweep the stink away. Tough chore but it has to be done. Its now or never.

Monty.....WOW. And where were u last night if not at the NPC.

Zorro, I agree, we have been too calm, too forgiving and too close-one-eyeish. No more tidak apa. No more 'hey we are better off than such and such a country', no more 'what can we do, we all so weak, they all so strong', no more 'I still have food on the table and go to the cinema occasionally, no more excuses la for heaven's sake. We deserve what we get. We (not me, I didn't vote for any of them)put them there, they screw us left and right, top and bottom, so we bring them down.

All these anger must be translated into votes. I dare say if we really voted the way we feel right now, phantom voters or not, we will be able to give them a scare. We may not be able to bring them down but we would have successfully sent a strong message.

Two elections ago their votes went down to 57 percent, they lost 2 states. I think we can do better this time around.

Our constitution makes it mandatory for the government to seek a fresh mandate from the citizens of Malaysia to continue in power.

A general election every five years is rather too long if things are not working out for the citizens as is the case currently.

However, are you aware that the government can be 'changed' every year?

Each year, there is a national budget presentation in parliament by the PM and if there is sufficient numbers in parliament voting against the budget proposal, it is termed as a 'vote of no confidence'.

The PM has three choices:
a) Submit a revised budget.
b) Change the cabinet including possibly the choice of a new PM.
c) Seek a new General Election.

Think about it, folks.

(Mainly becos I am a teetotaly -- defn: drink all types of tea only! as Constitution doesn't allow Desi to down more than 1/3 beer/liquor or I can't drive with my head pen(N)ing and I need to 'rite for a living!:)

You mentioned Desi, Nat Tan and Politikus but omitted Freelunch, I hoped it's only slip of te half-stupour. Luckily I had your cutsey orange -- not squashed.

Thanks again, we'll march together with Bloggers United, eyes front and maybe a THird Eye from above blessing Us.

Desi, I visited freelunch and paid my compliments. Haven't forgotten what my 87 year old mum wrote in my autograph book when I was eight years old...."be nice to a lady and she'll say you're wonderful." I bought her a black/water which she downed admirably because she was ahmad to you.Catch you soon and keep in touch.

Dear Monsterball,
I have a stinking (maybe sinking) feeling even his TV programs are decidedly chosen by anointed one for his viewing...
That's what worries me!!!

In years gone by who ever thought that the USSR could one day disintegrate or that the Berlin Wall could crumble or even the miracle that Dubya finally realise where Afghanistan and Iraq are on the map (now he is trying to memorise locations of Iran and North Korea)

I for one do not under estimate people power - when the awakening occurs it pours and not just a passing shower. Anything is possible in life.
