GOOFER OF THE WEEK AWARD

She is reputed to be the only lady minister with a phalanx of PR consultants to answer odd, unreasonable, dodgy, naughty, insidious, non-sports, non-marital barbs from sports writers. If her machais are stumped, a rehearsed signal will have you deprived of the mike during a press conference and Mama Sports take over with the normal good slicing advice: "If you are not happy with what we are doing, then you should be a politician and stand for elections." So, was that why you became a politician, because you were not happy with what the Government was doing? Says a lot about you, huh?

Of course, I for one am not happy with you. I thought you opened the window to let in some fresh air but it shut by itself when you that sold that idea (which sucks) of having the DPM chair a Cabinet
Committee for Sports. They used to say that a donkey evolved when many committees were appointed to design a horse! You don't seem to have much control over your PR boys (any girls? should have if there are none....PR girls are more analytical....PR men tends to get giddy spinning.) Our Under 16 kids training with Arsenal (which will never happen, unless we pay Arsenal a few hundred million pounds and then we can spin that Arsenal has picked our boys to train with them)...acclimatisation centre ....what disrespect to our former PM Tun Razak, turning an internationally accredited research centre to house sportsmen and as ho(s)tel for Ministry of Sports officials or politicians look for free board and lodging in London. I was given a chance to look into the future and that was what I saw.

Of course I am angry. World Champion Karamjit not recognised by the Minister and her Ministry. Imagine what Karamjit can do if money spent on a core sport like football is directed his way. Citizen Nades, as usual, was spot on.

Of course I am angry.....Youth Nations Cup. The teams (to be invited, and dont be surprised if they reject the invitation) named were impressive. Is this just a good dream. Allocate the money to promote an idea; when it goes spoof, so will the money...spooooooof into (?). No worries, its people money, and Malaysians are very forgiving.

I too am not happy with what you are doing. I want to be a politician. Will you sponsor me? But I want to choose the party? Catch.....its 22.

you must be joking asking her to sponsor you. you wanna mix around with the wolves in sheep's clothing? hey, you surely are not the type; too direct and clean to make it in bn. continue what you are doing and be happy.
best wishes, zorro.

Malaysia has some sportspeople who can compete at the world level - Nicole David, Karamjit, Josiah, badminton, bowling (lane & lawn). Funny how the Minister/Ministry does not seem to be publicising their role in bringing these to the fore.

What happened to the PR team that Zorro speaks about ?

This Sport Minister? She knows next to nothing and have no shame. Look at some sports...so glaringly playing racialitic politics. FOOTBALL!!Sick to give details.
When the Jalani brothers won glory for Malaysia...they became instant millionaires. Well don't stop now with cock and bull excuses. Continue... give lands and anything UP TO A MILLION TO EACH ...to the trustees of Koo Kean Keat and Tan Boon Heong. They love their parents. They trust and respect them. Give the rewards to them as trustees...or give directly. Afterall..they are big enough to know how to value ther futures.
If the government is not willing to give these two heroes who brings so much glories..world first this or that ...plus Nicol....then they are racialistics hypocrites.
Did you see AZALINA fighting for them?
If not...Are Pak Lah and ministers blind and dumb? No one have the balls to highlight fairnesses...just play dirty race and relgion dirty politics

monsterball said...

By the way...Nicol had many rewards from private sectors....not from the government.
Jalani brothers were made millionaires by TDM wife and the previous Selangor MB.
So carry on the good work UMNO!!

Monsterball,
What they have done, I agree, is unfair, but what baffles me is that MCA and MIC seems to be rather impotent. Why don't they demand the same kind of recognition? A case of taking care of my own backside la.

Do you think that they are ashamed that our football team can't even beat Laos? Say it to them and they will say, "ok we will build a 100K capacity stadium in each district". No not the RM300 million each stadium, we will build the RM900 million each stadium. Its more expensive because all the seats have numbers".

monsterball said...

ayah kata tak nak...Why talk MCA or MIC?? You mean the true Malaysans of Chinese and Indians do not know how much shame these parties bring to their own kind? Same as majority Malays lah..living in shame of UMNO.
Now we have more choices to choice ... check and balance government from opposition parties....and get rid of race and religion politics.
It will be nice..if Barisan National become a minority..thus take over as oppsition side for once. Why not?

monsterball said...

I wish shah101....the potential Malaysian Brutus can come out and champion fair and square deals for all Malaysians....and stop talking cock!!

That's what I dream of, the opposition taking over, and many will laugh at me but I doesn't hurt to dream does it?

zorro said...

KTN, totall agree with you. MCA and MIC does not bother if it has nothing to do with their political agenda. They become feverishly active when they have to cover their ass. I dont expect these two ethnic component parties to do anything the Chinese and Indians can be proud of.

Monsgterball, I take great objection to your comment about Shar101, Of the many who visits this blog and contributes a lot of good sense and impactful observations, Shar 101 is one of them. Dreaming is a natural process, but day-dreaming is the pastime of the unfocused. Take your pick.

I just don't understand why the Swiss Open badminton finals was not telecast live on free TV. I had to go around and look for a house with Astro. Lack of sponsors? I don't think so. Certainly not lack of audience. Whenever our boys or girls reach semi-finals and or finals of ANY major sports tournaments be it badminton, squash, swimming, football, bowling, snooker, etc the government should make it a point to telecast them live on free TV. These are wholesome activity for the family to do. Champions become role models for other than motivates our youths. Countries like Singapore clamour to have their citizens stand on the podium so much so they import them like crazy. Yet, in our country....

monsterball said...

Lets face it. If it is a sport that the Malays bring glory to the country....even played in Timbuktu will be telecast live and sponsored by a huge owned UMNO company.
Zalina is trully full of shit sports minister.

monsterball said...

I mean Azalina...not Zalina

monsterball said...

katak tak nak...Mark my word..he who laugh at you dreaming of opposition take over the governing of our country....will cry in shame.

KTN and Monsterball,

The day will come when the BN will be a minority. It might not be in my lifetime but given the example of the Congress Party in India and LDP in Japan who were once thought to be invincible, I believe that the rakyat deserves a truly democratic process which will eventually emerge for the good of all Malaysians.

monsterball said...

And may I add..the Golkar party in Indonesia..gone kapook!! So is Marcos. But you can say I am selfish...I just hope to see UMNO becomes the opposition while I am alive and lets see how they behave.

Kata Tak Nak said...

UMNO, the opposition, that will make my day.

monsterball said...

zorro.I know I have wronged you at your site TWICE and apologised..BUT you should not take sides with your comment at kickdefella. I know your wise words..'live to fight another day"...but when one gets SAME commenters..which are blog owners and all malays..insulting me with infair tactics over and over again and ...if you cannot come out to defend me...fully understand..but hope you put out a message like kata tak nak...to cool things and not take sides.
I am an ordinary blunt and truthful commenter...never afraid and never will. BY NOW YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO READ MY CHARACTER. Takes to to clap hands?? Hope you don't give me this advise and say I deserve the insults!! Here at this very blog...I fought for fairnesses for the badminton players. Am i a racialist?
Thanks

monsterball said...

Now go and read latest insult on me at Sheih's side. If you wish to apply MYOB..again fully understandable..but please be fair and not take sides!!
Thanks again.

monsterball said...

By right..it should be me..you should protect...if you trully beleive in fair deals.

zorro said...

Monsterball, you want fair deals? START YOUR OWN BLOG.Its a different world then. TRY IT, IF YOU DARE.

monsterball said...

Zorro...no need to dare me..as being a blog owner does not suit everyone. As for me..NEVER DARE to do so...as I want to be free....to express what I feel in different blogs for different purposes.
But if you are hinting as a blog owner...one hands are tight somewhat...I DO NOT ENVY YOU.
I have posted at kata tak nak blog....how much I love and cheerish our frienship. It's on going...but just hope you will not take sides. If you cannot defend me...best you keep quiet....that's all I ask. Is that difficult zorro?
If I do not value our friendship....I will not talk like this.
All the best!!

monsterball said...

zorro..and if you say blog owners can also fly around...I am going to say..not all jobs suit every person.
As I comment..I am begining to study various blog characters through their writings and what it takes to succeed as a blog owner.
All the best again zorro.
