2007 was #@^*!d. WE DEMAND A DECENT 2008

This has been the scenario for this past year.

I received this from my friend Tengku Nazaruddin with this message:

"I like this poem and thought should share with those who love peace."

God grant us this year a wider view,
So we see others' faults through the eyes of You.
Teach us to judge not with hasty tongue,
Neither the adult ... nor the young.

Give us patience and grace to endure
And a stronger faith so we feel secure.
Instead of remembering, help us forget
The irritations that caused us to fret.

Freely forgiving for some offense
And finding each day a rich recompense.
In offering a friendly, helping hand
And trying in all ways to understand;

That all of us whoever we are ...
Are trying to reach an unreachable star.
For the great and small ... the good and bad,
The young and old ... the sad and glad

Are asking today; Is life worth living?
The answer is only in, loving and giving.
For only Love can make man kind
And Kindness of Heart brings Peace of Mind.

By giving love, we can start this year
To lift the clouds of hate and fear.

BOX TRANSPARENT. COST TRANSPARENT?

I received an email from a commentator at this blog. The Star reported that RM16 million would be spent on 50,000 transparent ballot boxes. Being in the plastic industry he says he could do these boxes for RM100 each (profit included) whereas the EC is paying close to RM320 for each box. He posted three questions....i). why 50,000 boxes and ii) has cost-consideration taking into account some retirement or extension renumeration for service beyond the call of duty?. iii) Was a tender called?
I am quite blur about these probing questions. Maybe somebody out there can give us some clear and see-through answers.

master-puppeteer with cutting edge technology - scissors/ink

As early as March I was elated when the EC Chairman announced the introduction of transparent ballot boxes for the impending general elections. This brain-wave initiative must have won the EC Chairman that extension time Parliament so readily afforded him. This fiercely independent Chairman reciprocated the BN parlimentarian by publicly announcing that no regime except the Barisan Nasional party can qualify to govern Malaysia. Of course you can say this without batting an eye when you are the master puppeteer. However I was fascinated by this transparent box, knowing that rampant rigging would be decreased. I was brought down to earth by an incensed watering-hole buddy who spelt this out so clearly: "Old boy, old habits are hard to give up....and remember old boy, in Malaysia....everything boleh.....everything can one.....didnt one of our young boy go into space." But to me it was a cutting-edge innovation because it is normally used in some banana republic and to introduce it in our democratic country says a lot about our willingness to experiment on new state-of-the art processes...... and also to work out of the box!!!!!!!!.....think out of the box or work out of the box......gee, I am confused now.

dang! I brought the specs instead of the palm-grease

Anyway people, let's not flog this old issue about the Chairman to death. We got to live with what we have. They say work with the devil you know rather than the devil you do not know. We cannot afford to have a new chap come in with electoral ideas he may have picked up either in Pakistan or from the Taliban. So thank God for little blessings and let's move on.

mechanised running dogs?

But of course as responsible Malaysians we must be on our guard, be vigilant because new manipulative initiatives could be adopted unlike the old two favorites - palm-grease and under the table running dogs. Somebody told me that they may even apply BOS (blue ocean strategy - eliminate the competition) in the next GE. This I doubt because the guy below is already the cynosure of all eyes and on the radar screen.....and moreover you need best-in-class brains to apply BOS. On the other hand, and this is an unkind thought.....if the BN majority is drastically eroded Parliament may re-amend the constitution to read...."extension will depend on a 90% majority for the governing regime" to read.......a la Trump YOU ARE FIRED.

PLEASE UMNO, TELL ME THIS IS NOT TRUE.

FLOOD IN KELANTAN

Touching moment: Mek Som whispers to Najib her delight at being able to meet him at SK Gual Tinggi in Rantau Panjang Wednesday.

In times of tribulations, strive, adversities and disasters the best in the human race come to the fore. It was not different when the annual monsoon floods hit Kelantan, but this time around with more ferocity. This years flood had the potency of being the mother of all floods, considering that our Deputy Prime Minister paid two visits to PAS-held Kelantan. Following is Bernama's take:

RANTAU PANJANG: A senior citizen, feeling restless after being evacuated to a school when the flood hit her village, was overwhelmed by a visit by Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak yesterday.

Mek Som Yunus, 83, said she was deeply touched by the Deputy Prime Minister's visit to SK Gual Tinggi here which has been turned into a temporary shelter for flood victims.

“In this difficult time, it is heartening to have a VIP visit and give us words of encouragement. What more if that important person is the Deputy Prime Minister himself. I really love him,” she said in Kelantan dialect while pointing at Najib who was seated next to her

Najib, who was accompanied by Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed and Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussin, spent a few minutes talking to Mek Som and other old folks at the relief centre.

Najib, who is also the National Disaster Relief Committee chairman, arrived here at noon and spent almost an hour to look into conditions of the flood victims at the centre.

He also handed over contributions to 531 families including those from Gual Tinggi, Gual Periuk and Banggol Kulim who were forced to evacuate due to the rising water level in Sungai Golok since almost a week ago.

The visit was Najib’s second to Kelantan since floods hit the state on Dec 8. On Friday, he visited Tanah Merah which was also badly hit by floods.

You have to agree that the Main Stream Media did a good PR job here but they were not around or they did not want to be around and they did not want to know what happened across the border in the land of the thousand Datuks -PAHANG.

Little Bird Reports:

NGOs have also stopped cooperating with the UMNO run Bilik Gerakan after a very sad and disgusting incident. Staffers from different NGOs had accompanied some of the food and other flood aid from the Bilik Gerakan to some villages. At one particular badly hit area, people of all races, i.e. Chinese, Indians and Malays, lined up to get the food. However, the UMNO 'volunteers' informed the people very crudely that the food and other flood aid was only for the Malays. The Indians and Chinese did not get any. The staffers from the NGOs which included Indians, Chinese and Malays were shocked and left in disgust.

In another estate area with almost 600 Indian flood victims, the UMNO 'volunteers' delivered just one sack of rice to be shared by 600 Indian estate workers and their children. The sack of rice was left at a flood relief centre located in a Tamil primary school near the estate. Then the estate workers were asked to initial a list acknowledging that they had received a complete set of flood supplies (rice, oil, canned food, sugar, salt, bottled water and blankets). Obviously the remaining supplies had been hijacked by the UMNO 'volunteers' and sold off for cash elsewhere.

Many of the Indian estate women became hysterical and screamed how 600 people were going to share one bag of rice. The next day when other volunteers went to the same Tamil school, the Indian women screamed at them and said 'Melayu jangan mari tolong lagi'.

In other places the aid was given to UMNO members only. Other Malays, especially known Pas supporters, were denied aid. These stories are not being made up. They are first hand reports from Pahang that were told to us by flood relief workers themselves. (NST, STAR, not allowed to print these reports....you had no reporters on ground zero?)

In another area, about 250 Orang Asli were promised 50kg bags of rice. This was clearly a false promise because most of the rice was delivered in 5kg or 10kg bags. The rice destined for the 250 Orang Asli was despatched by the Bilik Gerakan but it never reached the Orang Asli. When the UMNO ADUN from the area visited the Orang Asli the next day and inquired if they had all 'sudah makan', they jeered him and said 'awak semua penipu'. Again the rice had been hijacked by the UMNO 'volunteers' and siphoned off elsewhere.

For the first seven days of the floods, the Member of Parliament for Temerloh, YB Mohd Sarit bin Haji Yusoh (Tel. No. 03 - 77266005 and 03- 7726 4468, address: Pangkal Melati Sdn Bhd, No 18-1, Jalan Wan Kadir 4, Off Jalan Damansara Bypass, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur), Anwar Ibrahim's one-time political secretary who became a millionaire within a couple of years, was missing from Temerloh. He had not visited any of the flood affected areas. Flood victims put up a banner in the Temerloh area asking 'YB where are you?' This banner was later torn down by the Police. All this news was not reported by the mainstream media.

The Chinese MCA ADUN from Mentakab has been one of the few Wakil Rakyat doing the rounds diligently in the flood affected areas. The Malay UMNO ADUNs have made themselves scarce or helping themselves to the loot from the Bilik Gerakan.

Because of the dishonesty and outright stealing by the UMNO 'volunteers', flood victims are very angry and tensions have been high in the affected areas. The mainstream media have not reported that when Fu Ah Kiow, Deputy Internal Security Minister and MP for Kuantan, visited the affected areas, the flood victims screamed and threw stones at him. The Deputy Minister had to leave the scene in a hurry. (Just like Samy was booed off the stage in Penang.....MCA & MIC.....that's two down for a start .)

We have just gone thru two religious festivals Hari Raya Haji and Christmas and we are touted as a God fearing country who look askance at anything irreligious like necking, petting, holding hands in public, groping, close proximity, fornicating, incest, buggery, statutory rapes etc, etc, Now we have people in UMNO who rob the distressed of what is their due in such trying times.

YOU DACHING PARTY, WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO SAY ABOUT THIS? WHERE DID YOU HIRE THOSE GOONS FROM? YOU GUYS CAN RIP (rest in peace)? ME I WILL HAVE TROUBLE SLEEPING PEACEFULLY. PROBABLY I AM ABNORMAL. POSSIBLY.

Lesson learnt: Do not channel your donations to any political parties....they could channel it to their campaign. Give your donation in kind to the trustworthy:

I DID SAY SOMETHING TO THIS EFFECT ON 14 DECEMBER

On 14 December I said that Badawi had landed a knock-out blow on Samy.

But some people are so much of themselves as to think that they are omnipotent and will never face adversity. They have become so powerful and arrogant that they cannot see the lion's mouth open for the execution. Power and greed often blinds these demi-gods. Is Samy's appearance in Penang a prelude to his waterloo....and the UMNO sawdust caesars better take the cue too.

A BLEAK CHRISTMAS

Bleak because events over the year has taken away whatever this religious festival was meant to mean.....PEACE ON EARTH TO MEN OF GOODWILL.

So I am not celebrating this year. The Christmas Tree is not up, but innocent children will receive their gifts.....children in my condo.....children wide-eyed exuberant and vibrant, untarnised by the wiles of this poorly disguised and misguided government. My prayer is that they remain untarnished by the oppressive dictates of pigmentation, race and religion....that they grow up, nurtured to be citizens and the future of one race, Malaysians. That will be the sacred responsibility of their parents.

However, I will celebrate my 68th birthday and my 39th wedding anniversary. It is more for the latter that I will celebrate. We hear this expression: "in life we have a lot of crosses to bear". I declare that for 39 years, I was the cross that Karen bore....bravely and always with a smile. I thank her for her tolerance, her unselfish care for me and the kids Patrina and Kevin, the sacrifices she endured to put our two kids thru graduation, the tears she shed to right some wrongs, the tireless energy she put into her silent work for the disadvantaged. For these I am celebrating.

Over this year however, a small group of people have brought some sparkle into my life....my blogging buddies and my former students. I will not name them for fear that I may miss out some. But you guys and gals out there know who you are.....you people who touched my life.

I will not wish anyone a Merry Christmas but I'd rather dedicate this Prayer of St. Francis of Assisito you all. I pray it will guide me and I hope it will guide you in the coming years:

"O Lord, make me an instrument of Thy Peace!
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, harmony;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light, and
Where there is sorrow, joy.
Oh Divine Master, grant that I may not
so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand; to be loved
as to love; for it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life."

and Sarah McLachlan rendition of this prayer:

THERE THEY GO AGAIN.

For a while I still believed that the week before Christmas was going to be peaceful. The Deputy Minister of Education assured Christians that Mission Schools would still keep their crosses and their statues. Last Wednesday, whilst having some drinks with former students at the Backyard, one of them asked me if it was true that the Catholic weekly Herald will lose their KDN permit. I said I never heard of that. Period. On Monday night I heard former Transparency International Malaysia chief, Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim declare that the watered-down IPCMC now called the SCC was a mockery and an insult to the Royal Commission. On Tuesday we had the good news that good sense prevailed and the SCC Bill was deferred to the next sitting of Parliament, probably March 2008. Then the good news that the AG was lifting the "intent to murder" tag off the 31 arrested at Batu Caves on 25 November. (Aside: did any of you wonder when you saw the bloodied pic of the Chinese cop that only appeared on the MSM? Good choice - the etnicity I mean. And somebody whispered that the make-up artist did a great job! I dont know really....these days you hear so many things....and you do not know what to believe. And there was no "attempt to murder" charge on the Police who shot a tear gas cannister that broke the nose of one of the 25/11 marchers. That will not stick because no cop was going to own up.)

So I was all ready to put this lap-top aside to get ready for Christmas and WHAMMMMM, a new shibang ........................

SOME PEOPLE IN THE BN GOVERNMENT WANT THE HERALD TO GET RID OF THE BAHASA MALAYSIA SECTION OF THE WEEKLY AND THEY OBJECT TO THE USE OF THE WORD ALLAH IN THE BAHASA MALAYSIA TEXT.

SOME OF OUR YOUTHS MAKE ME SO PROUD OF THEM.

I have been often asked how come I do not look my age. My stock answer is: I have been around youth professionally as a teacher for 19 years; I have worked with youth in the manufacturing industry; I continue to be amongst youth when I conduct seminars and training. Even as a blogger today whenever I get the chance I engage the youthful crowd - Nat (who was once in the government guest-house for three days), his girlfriend, the fast-talking and no nonsense Politikus (Li Tsin of Malaysiakini), June Tan, now working for Greenpeace in NZ before she does her Phd next year in Singapore, Daphne Ling (Ipoh's Lady with the Lamp), my neignbor on Wheels Danny aka Kerp, bloggers Arifabbdul, Melvin, 11 year old blogger Aiman son of Husna who collects exotic grass for me, not forgetting Lulu, who "slaps" errant politicians very liberally and for free. And my latest girlfriend Meesh who apologised to Mrs Zorro on Saffron Night for the lipstick on my collar. Then there are my condo's Desperate Housewives (young mothers who gave up good jobs to care for their kids) Nolie, Pauline, Nani (not in Qarta), Pui Leng......and their kids whose voices pep me up everyday when they shriek or cry or fight in the playground. The kids, by the way, are giving me the cold shoulder because I have not been down in the playground of late (read no distribution of sweets) YES, ALL THESE YOUNG PEOPLE ENERGISE ME .

I NOW HAVE MORE FAITH IN OUR YOUTH. FOR A WHILE I THOUGHT THAT PASSING EXAMS AND LOOKING FOR JOBS TOOK THEM AWAY FROM THE REALITIES THAT IS MALAYSIA TODAY. NOT SO ACTUALLY.

Of late, I am seeing more youths at forums and they ask intelligent questions.

Meesh aka Michelle, a 24 year old journalist with TELL Magazine started a Facebook group themed VOTed and in three days got committment from 475 youths to get serious about voting in the next GE.

This is their logo. Go here for more (Dec18 posting)

I am not anti-boys, but you will agree that this inter-racial Malaysian cocktail you can never get in any part of the world. That's Malaysian YOUTH for you. On their young shoulders rest the future of this beautiful country, currently in the grip of an intellectually bankrupt and literally and unashamedly corrupt government. Muster your youthful force and give us a good government. Your votes can CHANGE Malaysia. Allow me to quote from Blogger Aisehman:

THERE IS STILL HOPE!

Since Monday I have been having connectivity problem and was unable to post, moderate or get into the internet. Last night, the President of my Residential Association, Sudesh solved my problem over one cold beer and a splash of Macallum. THE POWER OF BEING SPIRITUAL!

Because of wireless problem I decided to cajoled Tony Yew to lets go give support to the "EMERGENCY PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON IPCMC BILL at the Chinese Assembly Hall. Lim Kit Siang had expected a near empty hall because of the lack of notice, but there was only standing room by 7.30pm.

The rushed composition of panelists consisted of former Transparency International Malaysia Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim, former United Nations special rapporteur Datuk Param Cumaraswamy, Head of Bar Council Human Rights, Edmund Bon.

All three spoke passionately about how the IPCMC is being hijacked by the watered-down SCC.
Tunku Aziz said it was a mockery to the Royal Commission that recommended the IPCNC; Datuk Param called it a SLAP in the face of members of the Royal Commission and Edmund Bon branded the SCC as a Special Referral Commission.

At the end of the Q&A "Datuk Seri" YB Lim Kit Siang asked a consensus and all unanimously wanted the SCC deferred to the next sitting of Parliament.

It was reported that the four panelist memebers were in Parliament the next day and it was the joint letter of Tunku Aziz and Datuk Param to Nazri that carried the day. The cabinet which normally sits on Wednesday was convened to accommodate the PM who had to go on vacation today, approved the deferment.

Tunku Aziz made a pertinent observation about the composition of the Royal Commission. He said the Commission was advised by no other than Tun Haniff, not to include any police officer into its fold. And now with the SCC, we have all the "wrong" people in control.

Imagine what would happen if parliament bulldozed the SCC thru. The IPCMC would be put to sleep and we will have the SCC who will be in the control of the IGP, the ACA chief and the sec. general of all agencies under this SCC. Corruption, abuse, inter-agency incest would be the order of the day. But let's not be too optimistic about the deferment. The way the police and these other agencies work, you can expect that respect for law and order might take a back seat. In the meantime we keep our fingers crossed that good sense will prevail. MALAYSIANS STILL CLING ON TO THAT THIN TREAD OF HOPE.

So, would I consider this reprieve a Christmas gift....NO....the real Christmas Gift would be to return the ISAed Hindraf fathers/husbands/sons to their children, spouse and parents.

THEN ONLY MAYBE GOD WILL BLESS MALAYSIA WITH LESS CALAMITIES.

CHICKEN SHIT IS POOR FERTILISER BUT IT IS NOW AN UPPER!

One thing you have to hand to the Chinese....they can make anything out of "nothing" or value where there is no value yet. Here "nothing" is chicken shit. An intro is necessary before I get onto the shitty chicken stuff. In the Star today, the MCA Lifelong Learning thing featured Kojadi's "Quest for 'Blue Oceans' ". This nearly got me chocked on my chee cheong fun this morning. It took me by surprise that our MCA politicians are finally reading something serious besides their daily staple Star diet. MCA master politician OKT forgot to mention that the main thrust of BOS (Blue Ocean Strategy) is to make the competition irrelevant. Failing this you can opt for the next wave which is to create new business with no competitors (yet). It is great stuff this BOS and a must reading for entrepreneurs.

So what has chick dung got to do with BOS. Word has it that immediately after using Silent Majority Saiful to front Damai for him our Chicken Senator, one Lee Chong Ming, has crossed blue ocean to Kuching. Page N22 of the Star reported that kids in Sarawak, for lack of glue are sniffing chicken shit (or dropping if you prefer euphemism....to me shit is shit is shit despite color, odor, or girth) as an upper to ride the magic dragon. Federal Rural and Regional Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe says that there is no legal provisions to ban the sniffing of this shit, but that he was adamant about investigating this new oddity happening across blue oceans.

You dont have to be a genius to guess why the bush-jacketed-no-neck MCA ex-politican is in Sarawak. If it has to do with chicken he is da man on the spot. He is very aware that Datuk Dr. Lafe is serious about finding out the veracity of this vogue to implement preventive measures. My sixth sense tells me that the Bukit Bintang man will collect samples from Sarawak, bring it back, set up a new enterprise to compete with morphine. Once he gets Government approval which will be a piece of cake as the Silent Front of the Silent Majority, this is where I come in. I will develop a new BOS industry. Chicken Purgative to ensure that chickens not only excretes but purge to glory. Howszat? In BOS the possibilities are prodigious and ad infinitum. Somebody help me to patent this will ya?
Of course I need partners, but no politicians please.....politicians go take care of the sports that failed during the SEA Games.

SHADDUP, GO SAVE OUR ROCK OUT THERE.

I decided to buy the NST today. I had left Zaid Ibrahim's In Good Faith at home and was left with nothing to read when I dropped in at Raju's . I don't read the MSM anymore but I do buy Star on alternate Thursdays for Veera's pieces (which of late has been watered down by his boss - Veera tell whichever boss you submit to, that we DONT drink our SINGLE MALTS with water!) I usually buy the NST on Tuesday to read Syed Nazri, he being the rare few worth following.

Lo and Behold (no apologies to former CJ as he is history now) our Foreign Minister made a hallmark statement that could start World War III. He said it is strange for US to judge us. Since when have we been elevated to the stage of infallibility and omnipotence that nobody can judge us? May I remind you that we have not reached a developed state yet....we still use chemical-laced water canon and tear gas to show who is boss.....we still do not allow our citizens to commemorate Human Rights Day.....we desecrate Human Rights Day by arresting concerned citizens who visit Parliament.....we still have floods that kill 12 Malaysians because the money is better spent on opening up corridors to channel money to our Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves. We are still at the stage where we still use inhuman laws like the ISA to detain for 2 years Utayar and 4 others . Pinochet would be rolling in glee in his grave that some pisang of a country has caught on to his style of governing.

Syed, you are the foreign minister. Keep to your portfolio. Shut up about home affairs. We have a minister, havent we? You were already a disgrace in HardTalk, of course not as disgraceful as that kindy-minister of information. Except for a few, the members of the cabinet are vomit material. You said: "If they (demonstrators) want to get together within the law and not cause problems to other citizens, the government will nove no problem with that. But if they want to jeopardise public safety, we definitely have to take action." Hey bodoh, who was demonstrating on Sunday? Who caused problem to other citizens.....your cops were so afraid of the less than 100 of us that you blocked off roads and caused inconvenience to other citizens....we walked on the pavement, stupid. Who caused chaos? Who tore down banners on private property?

Syed, we dont care whether the US is annoyed with us. You better start caring that we Malaysians are definitely annoyed with your whole bunch of charlatans. You are definitely in delirium. Go drink some sea water and get back that rock that is supposed to belong to us. You keep out of our affairs at home, because the last time I looked up, we do have a Minister of Home Affairs. You stay foreign....the better for us at home....and dont lose whatever hair you have left over our affairs back home....we the citizens can take care of ourselves. You go play masak-masak with your foreign friends, ok, we definitely dont need you to tell us how to take care of ourselves. Remember we are well protected by the OSA, and the ISA. You just make sure that your foreign friends pop-guns are not directed at us back home.....and why dont you also take along with you overseas this running dog called S Vijayaratnam...he is baffled over the fuss on raising the age of retirement for rabid rashid. Or was he baffled over the fuss when the police arrested those who came to hand in the memo to prevent the raising of retirement age of EC Chairman. Anyway SV, thank the NST for giving you some lines....could help the Gerakan get a few more seats, as long as you keep running alonside, domesticated and docile, tail between the legs like.

TITLE THIS ANY WAY, ANYHOW.

MAMA GOBLOKING AND ZAWI, I AM FINE!

pic. by MobCrib
THE WHITE DOVE OF FREEDOM WAS DOWNED ON SUNDAY MORNING.

People, I know that some of you, like oversea's Mama Gobloking are wondering why I have been silent for more than 24 hours. And Zawi sees my long silence as sign that I have been taken in.Mama and Zawi thanks for your concern. I was deemed not worthy to join the ranks of those 6 lawyers and three activists. Its just that I needed the time to do some soul-searching about the events of yesterday's Human Right's Freedom Walk.

You have read me when I was ANGRY. You have blinked when I was INCENSED. Today I write with HATRED. I am going to be ABRASIVE, ASSERTIVE, AGGRESSIVE, ABUSIVE, even ABHORRENT and probably ABERRANT. Expect nothing charming (sorry Marina M). I am posting my picture here for the first time so that you know what follows come from me, from a hurt heart.

Probably, YLChong here (sunday)felt my rage as we walked side by side yesterday morning. This posting serves as a detox after trolling the blogs of those who walked yesterday and reading some commentators in their blogs.

No prize for guessing where this parasite plant (undeniably pun intended) came from!

Or this reply that Rocky got:

Why can’t the organisers of today’s event, take their program to commemorate, what ever they stood for and vehemently wanted to defend in doors somewhere, instead of having it on the streets? Bar Council and even Opposition political parties have held their events indoors and Police permit issued.

I live near a MBPJ multipurpose hall. Through the years, I see the DAP organise all sorts of BN-bashing programs there, no problem!

Good that the Police was being professional today. When they made arrest, they are doing their job as some people defied the Police Act sect 27(5).

The law was enacted by Parliament. MPs are democratically elected representatives. Regardless lawyers or ignorants, when the break the unlawful assembly law, they could be arrested.

IN THIS POST I DECLARE HATRED FOR THE SANCTIMONIOUS SYCOPHANTS WHO TARNISH BLOGOSPHERE WITH THEIR BLINKERED DRIVEL.

Yes, these are comments from people who dared not (disabled? I think not…mentally maybe) stick their necks out to make a stand, who hide under some preconceived bogus belief that they are always right, because of color, race, political affiliation, body mass or religion.

Today, I hate Iit when people who are not there, dare put on print that the police was being professional. Were you there, or if you were, have your eyes migrated down to your backside. No wonder your fart has more substance than what you wrote. It is true that what we write mirrors our innate beings. Me I write such because I warned you that today I write with HATE. Don’t know about some forked-tongue serpentine running-dogs. I reserve the word apologist for professionals.

Today, I hate people who said that we rioted. This deranged vomit must have copulated with a zombie to have had visions that we rioted.

Today, I also hate the police who bullied; who said, go ahead (at 8.10am) and march and then said later, you have 10 more minutes to march. And when they ordered you to disperse, how do you disperse when they hem you in and crowd you to instigate agitation and anger. I hate them because they do not know the basics in crowd control. Dumbo, isn’t it the guy who has his fingers on the trigger and whose gun is cocked, that has control?

And I hate you guys who were not there but true to your cyber trooper upbringing you pontificated about laws enacted by Parliament. (Parliament, come again, what animal is that? Planetarium to be more precise…..place where reptiles, scorpions, lizards, spiders, invertebrates – in a word, spineless species, venomous or otherwise, are housed for public exhibition, research or study….better picture you get it now?)

I hate it when the government make arbitrary laws. Allow me to digress here to make a point. I remember a day when I returned to school after a football assignment. I was the discipline master and I saw a notice on the school bulletin board. The notice disallowed pupils from bringing plastic bottles to school. Parents have everywhere, aware of the dismal garbage that the school canteen provides, have asked their children to bring their own drinking water to school. I asked the headmaster the rationale behind this rule. The boys were puncturing their bottles and using it to spurt water as in water war games. (gee, I thought that was innovative, the exuberance of youth breaking free from the tyranny called school) As President of the Staff Council, I asked for a meeting that got immediate approval from the HM. I asked if there was sufficient thought when new rules are instituted. I asked if we have engaged the kids about this “infringement” etc. No, the rule stays was a curt reprimand. I said that I would not implement this until I used other means to correct such “lawlessness” amongst the students. I asked for one month to try out something. I was then coordinating Physical Education for the school. Up on the field, bare-bodied and in PE shorts kids competed in teams in the first-ever paint-ball game. The kids learned planning, cooperation and teamwork. Today this more sophisticated game is played by corporate strategists in team building camps. Water war-games never took place in the classroom because inter-house and inter-class competitions became the vogue.

That’s why I hate people who make arbitrary rules because they cannot think beyond their running-nose. The government hide behind draconian rules like the ISA, OSA, and whatever A(s), because they do not want to engage, are afraid to engage or does not know how to engage, or just not bothered. I have developed an abhorrence for laws like these and particularly detest those who hide behind these laws for self-protection and (self-preservation?).

I particularly hate people, duly appointed by the Agung, who in one mouthful tell everybody that the only regime that can govern Malaysia is the BN government. Was that a bid to gain extension. Lookee here our king is not that dumb as you inferred. We knew all along this creepy-crawly was not independent as his office required. And we have running-dog columnists from the Star who sermonized in his column on 16 November: Stop accusing the Election Commission of Bias”. V K Chin, I have a copy of this and if you want to swallow your words, I can oblige if it can change things for you. I am available anywhere, anytime, anyhow! I hate it when people do not think before they put thoughts into print. But most of all I HATE running-dogs, lap-dogs and spinners.

What the fuck is happening to our country, when people get arrested so easily for performing, what they did for two years running, the Human Rights Freedom Walk, whilst a government goon is NOT TOUCHED by the police, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Mentri Besar of a self-proclaimed developed State. Is it because they are afraid that this guy who paid peanuts for land reserved for the poor to build his mansion will spill the beans or to make it more interesting, are the powerful trio afraid that this Klang tout will let the kittens out of the bag. I hate it when these things happen right under the nose of the people who make laws that protect themselves and their pet-pups. And I have friends who proudly display “Say No to IPCMC” on their sidebar. I have treated them as friends. But I have to seriously consider my affinity to these chaps. I have to seriously consider whether I should be in the same room with them, share the same table with them! I will tonight after posting this.

Go to your churches, temples, mosques and pray to salvage your soul to gain admittance to your cherished heaven, but take your cotton-picking hands off the sacred constitution of this country. I warned that this is a hate-post. It is and I mean every word here.

I hate it when the government goon-squad rounded up those associated with 10/11. I hate it when they snatched a father from his daughters wedding. I hate it when a city-hall uniformed laborer can demand that Human Rights banner be removed from a private property. I hate this because it is a travesty! I hate it when the government go on a witch-hunt, like asking Jeff Ooi to come to Commercial Crime Department to answer some loaded questions. Jeff, Tian Chua, Mohd. Sabu and the few others are not COWARDS….THEY DO NOT HIDE. Because of their honesty they are easy targets. So easy and in public view they arrested lawyers Latheefa Koya, Sivarasa Rasiah, N Surendran, Amer Hanzah, Edmund Bon, activist and Malaysiakini contributor-writer Noorazah Othman and Ashfar Ali Raja, whom I tried to calm and console but failed. All these were arrested because they had nothing to hide. Brave souls. But I hate it when the police have yet to nail the 70 year old uncle of a Chief Minister who molested a 45 year old lady. The police know where he is but cannot I am told arrest him because he is under the protection of someone the IGP cannot touch for reasons that I hate to imagine.

I HATE SOME OF THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE UP THIS GOVERNMENT.

I WILL LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR MY COUNTRY, BUT NOT FOR THIS GOVERNMENT.

THAT’S HATE, PURE, SIMPLE & TRUTHFUL.

I AM FILLED WITH SO MUCH HATE THAT I FEEL THIS IS AS GOOD A TIME AS ANY TO TAKE A BREAK

…..A BREAK FROM ALL THE HATEFUL THINGS THAT’S HAPPENING TO THIS BEAUTIFUL LAND.

YES I'LL BE THERE FOR THE FREEDOM WALK WITH MY FELLOW MALAYSIANS.

Yes, tomorrow morning is Freedom Walk. Of course the police have warned that we will be arrested and charged under Section 27 (5) of the Police Act 1967 for participating in an illegal assembly. NOW EVERYTHING, EVEN A SUNDAY WALK WITH FRIENDS IS ILLEGAL BECAUSE THE POLICE SAYS IT IS ILLEGAL, BECAUSE THE GOVERNMENT SAYS IT IS ILLEGAL. AND THIS IS THE SAME GOVERNMENT THAT PUT IN PLACE A ROYAL COMMISSION TO LOOK INTO THE ABUSE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. AND THIS IS THE SAME POLICE ORGANISATION THAT DEFIED THE RC AND WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE IPCMC......AND THEY EVEN TREATHENED THE GOVERNMENT IF THE GOVERNMENT IMPLEMENTED THE IPCMC. AND YET THE GOVERNMENT IS TOOTHLESS AND DONT HAVE THE SCROTAL FORTITUDE TO CHALLENGE THE POLICE....AND THESE TWO ARE IN COHORTS TO ARREST FREE CITIZENS WHO WANT TO CELEBRATE HUMAN RIGHTS DAY. FOR TWO YEARS THEY ALLOWED THIS FREEDOM WALK....THIS YEAR THEY SAY IT IS ILLEGAL. MR PRIME MINISTER WITH BIG EARS, ARE YOU LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE WHO PUT YOU UP THERE.

Anyway, you can use all the powers you have to arrest me and my friends. We walk because it is our fundamental right to freedom of assembly as enshrined in Article 10 of the Federal Constitution.
Yes, men and women of Free Malaysia will walk. We will not obey laws that are arbitrarily manufactured for the powers that be to hide behind, kind of like hiding under mother's skirt, or sarong. For the first time I agree with that thambi who said on international tv, this is not Pakistan, this is not Mnymar. THIS IS MALAYSIA WHERE THE MALAYSIAN SUN SHINES FOR EVERY CITIZEN.

TO THOSE WHO WALK TOMORROW THIS SONG IS DEDICATED
TO YOU.

Don't know what's comin' tomorrow
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow
But we'll travel the road
Sharing our load
Side by side.

Through all kinds of weather
What if the sky should fall?
Just as long as we're together,
It doesn't matter at all.
When they've all had their quarrels and parted

We'll be the same as we started
Just a-traveling along
Singing a song
Side by side.

We're all hunting for something
Something we don't know what
'Cause none of us are satisfied with things we know we've got.
We all forget about moonlight,
As soon as we've given our vow
But we'd all be so happy if we'd start and sing right now:

Oh, we ain't got a barrel of money,
Maybe we're ragged and funny
But we'll travel along
Singing a song
Side by side.

Don't know what's comin' tomorrow
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow
But we'll travel the road
Sharing our load
Side by side.

THIS MORNING I WILL WALK FOR ONE SPECIAL REASON.
I WILL WALK FOR THE COUNTLESS STATELESS CHILDREN AROUND THE JALAN RAJA LAUT, TIONG NAM AND CHOW KIT AREA AND THROUGHOUT MALAYSIA.
THESE ARE THE CHILDREN BORN OUT OF THE BONDAGE OF PROSTITUTION.
THEIR MOTHERS BELIEVED IN THE HUMAN RIGHT TO LIFE.
THEIR MOTHERS KNOW THAT ABORTION IS MURDER.
THEIR MOTHERS GAVE THEM THIS RIGHT TO LIFE.
BUT THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT HAVE DEPRIVED THESE STATELESS CHILDREN THE BASIC RIGHT TO HAVE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
THESE CHILDREN DEPRIVED OF A BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS DEPRIVED OF THE BASIC RIGHT TO GO TO SCHOOL.
THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT ALLOWED THEM TO BE THROWN OUT INTO THE STREETS.

FOR THESE DISADVANTAGED LOT THAT THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT HAS STIGMATISED,
I WILL WALK AND POSSIBLY BE ARRESTED.
BUT IT IS A SMALL THING THAT I CAN DO TO ALLEVIATE THE DARKNESS AND PRAYERFULLY HOPE THEY TOO CAN ENJOY THE MALAYSIAN SUN.

TO THESE CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT WE DEDICATE THIS SONG:

UNA PALOMA BLANCA
When the sun shines on the mountain
And the night is on the run
It's a new day
It's a new way
And I fly up to the sun

I can feel the morning sunlight

I can smell the new-mown hay
I can hear God's voice is calling
For my golden sky light way

Una paloma blanca

I'm just a bird in the sky
Una paloma blanca
Over the mountains I fly

No one can take my freedom away

Once I had my share of losing

for they locked me on a chain

Yes they tried to break my power

oh I still can feel the pain

Una paloma blanca

I'm just a bird in the sky

Una paloma blanca

Over the mountains I fly

No one can take my freedom away

Una paloma blanca

I'm just a bird in the sky

Una paloma blanca

Over the mountains I fly

No one can take my freedom away
