AN URGENT APPEAL TO MY KING.

DAULAT TUANKU
DAULAT TUANKU
DAULAT TUANKU

Kuala Lumpur’s police chief has warned the public that they risk arrest, fines and jail if they participate in the Bersih rally and march, adding that roadblocks and road closures would be in place. Police plans also include the deployment of some 4,000 officers and checks on all cars coming in from outside Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia’s inspector-general of police took the unusual step of reiterating the warnings.

DAULAT TUANKU
DAULAT TUANKU
DAULAT TUANKU

Your People Want Change
They have pleaded for Change
They have nobody to turn to
Change? The Government they voted in refused to

They turn in desperation
in peaceful desperation
to you their King

They do not want violence
they pray in silence

but the force
will force obedience

the force will not allow your people
their peaceful walk
the force will not allow your people
to walk to you
the force will fine, arrest, jail
your people who want to walk to you

we do not want the violence they promised

to avoid violence

CAN YOU COME TO YOUR PEOPLE WHO WILL GATHER AT MERDEKA SQUARE.

If it is not possible for Your Majesty to come
can you ask your army to escort us in our walk to see you?

I crave your Majesty's forgiveness if I am too forward
but this is just a plaintive plea from an old subject of yours.

DAULAT TUANKU

How can the police stop people from marching to see their King? What right have they to stop the King from meeting his subjects?

the king should really come out and say something... dunno what... but at least something.

Does the king really care?
maybe they have been well fed and well taken care of by the BN govt.

Do you all think he really cares? numerous kings have come and gone. anyone spoke up against anything ? nope..

why would they suddenly give a damnnow? and if they did give a damn, what power do they have to help us.

i think this is all a waste of time.

not sure why we think that our friendly neighbours will rise to arms without any organisation from cash rich entities like umno.

5/13 is a myth of racial hatred...and is day where blood and lives are used as pawn in a power-game.

King cant help us, but he is our symbol of unity. FInally he means something.

Daulat Tuanku.

I hate to say this but I agree with anon 8.08. It is sad but unfortunately true.

I pray that I'll be proven wrong

Anon 8.08 and 9.54. Scrool up and see the pics presented by Sagaladoola.
WASTE OF TIME? Those 40+ thousand men and women, braving the treaths of the authorities...walking the distance A WASTE OF TIME? They did it for those who could not join the yellow wave and FOR THOSE PESSIMISTS WHO ALWAYS FAILED BEFORE EVEN TRYING. THESE PESSIMISTS ARE THE ONE WHO WANT OTHERS TO TAKE THE BULLET FOR THEM.
It is a pure WASTE OF TIME, if you do nothing but throw cold water on any effort that you are not brave enough to espouse. We NEED you in the future, but if you still consider the efforts to clean up the country a waste of time, WE DO NOT NEED YOU.... sit at home and take care of your family. We will do the dirty work for you, because you are also a Malaysian, our own people. God Bless you, brother(s).

Zorro Bro, don't misunderstand, I didn't mean the effort and walk was a waste of time at all - I only agreed with anon 8.08 about question of the effectiveness of giving the petition to the king - we know how things work around here...and I did say I hope I was wrong.

Of course you guys did a tremendous job and a big sacrifice in braving the rain and the police

anon 9.54 (overseas - can only support thru blogs)

Yes, HM SPB YDP Agong and HRHs Rulers should not be dragged into politics, under any circumstances. They are the one whos chose to be out (above) of politics when Malaya gained its independence and the Constitution of the Federation was drafted and passed by the British and Malayan reps.

They are above politics and should remain as the ceremonial figurehead, to provide a symbol of the people, especially in the issues of Malay culture and heritage and Islam as the religion of the Federation, as provided in the Federal Constitution.

All these upsurge calls of "Daulat Tuanku", especially in the blogs of late is just some minority and vested interest Malaysians to be opportunistic and 'use' the monarchs for their own political gains.

The truth is that, many of these bloggers themselves don't care about the monarchs nor the Royal household, until the 10/11 march idea is mooted.

Look around amongst the blogs. They did not even provide anything/piece/story on the installation of HM Tuanku Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibn Almarhum Sultan Mahmood of Terengganu as the XIIIth Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong last April. It was such an important historical moment in Malaysian history. Something which attracted attention of all the foreign missions here and congratulatory messages from their Govt abroad. Nat Geo eve had a special documentary presentation on this event.

Heck, I bet so many amongst the blog readers don't even know HM Tuanku Sultan Mizan is the XIIIth SPB YDP Agong, let alone recite the names of HMs from the first to the twelveth Supreme Ruler of Malaysia, especially in chronological order and which state they represented.

Kesetian kepada Raja is the second principle of Rukunegara. Keluhuran Perlembagaan is the third and Kedaulatan Undang Undang is the fourth. How can any subject be "setia kepada Raja" if they don't know his/their names? Prohibition of open assemblies without Police permit is provided by the Police Act, which was enacted by the Parliament. Breachingthat defies the second and third principles of the Rukunegara.

Not respecting the "Keluhuran Perlembagaan" and "Kedaulatan Undang Undang" also translate to defying "Kesetian kepada Raja" as Raja Raja represents the symbol of the Constitution and the State.
