TODAY I DEDICATE THIS POSTING TO THE UNSUNG INDIAN HEROES AND HEROINES. TOMORROW I WILL SCORN THE CHINESE AND INDIAN RUNNING DOG OF THE STAR.

LIKE I SAID ON THE EVE OF THE RALLY, IT IS NOT ABOUT HINDRAF.
But it has everything to do with the marginalised Indians, Malays, and Chinese, especially the destitute and abject poor.
I dedicate this postings to the Malaysians Indians who sacrificed their rest day to make a peaceful stand for their disadvantaged fellow-citizens.
this type of shower we do not need

brutally sprayed

the media will say he fell on his face

helping or harassing? You can guess what spin the media will give to this.

a gift of dry ice

5 armed versus 1 unarmed...brutality or bullying?

they came men and women despite warning of arrest....that is courage in the face of adversity.

peacefully and silently making their voices heard

their numbers could easily overpower the armed power, but the intent was a peaceful rally

frustration is like a dormant volcanoe, waiting to erupt

they endured for their unfortunate brothers and sisters

the tear-gas cannisters were ejected into the crowd; does international law allow this?

they continue to brave the pain to win back their dignity

they stood or sat and took the full blast of the chemical-laced water cannon...at flag-bearing Malaysians? But God is definitely watching.....from a distance.

cuffed and dragged

sprayed, cuffed - 3 against 1 - and this guy came in peace

this unsung hero donated drinking water

this jet could maim ..... but the law of the jungle allows this....really can the PM and DPM sleep soundly when their citizens are treated such? You think they care?

Does this look like a confrontation?

YOU GASSED US, YOU BATHED US IN CHEMICALLY-LACED JETS OF WATER, YOU MAN-HANDLED AND ARRESTED OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
IF YOU WON YESTERDAY, JUST REMEMBER OUR DAY WILL COME, COME THE GENERAL ELECTIONS.
THAT WILL BE OUR DAY!

Mr Bernard, I'm sorry if I made you uneasy with my comments. I looked up in the dictionary what sanctimonious windbag means.

Sorry, sir.

What a great day? Malaysians, you need to rise up against all the injustice, unfair racial and religious discriminations. You politicians have no spines. They are more corrupted than the "Mobutu of Zaire"

Bergen, let me buy you some rounds of beer at the National Press Club...any Tuesday and Friday....tonight should be a good time. Ex journalist, now based in Jakarta who blogs under Unspun will be there. Bergen, my language may be abrassive but I try not to be aggressive but the old dormant volcano in me gets the better of me sometimes. Please excuse this old dog when he barks. Cheers son, see you at NPC ok?

Mr Bernard, thank you, sir. I've heard about the National Press Club. Sounds like an interesting place to meet up people to exchange ideas or get into a conversation with people with different opinion. I don't drink, sir, but this hasn't stopped me to share a table with those who do.

Thank you, sir.

all over the internet from emails, to blogspots to facebook, there is a strong anti-oppression and anti corrupted UMNO-BN sense.

people are angry, people know what is going on and the PM is half alseep or pretending to be not in the know. how easy for him and the DPM to be away from KL each time there is a walk. wasnt the DPM in Pekan last weekend, giving statements to the TV. and where was our friend Samy?

Thank you so much for the pictures. Will wait for your tomorrow article!

Cheers!

Dear Uncle Zorro,

Thank you for sharing with us the joy of bathing in chemical laced water with tear gas special effects.

Like you and many others I don't totally agree with Hindraf. However I chose to be there to support my fellow indian brothers and sisters.

This historical event was important because this is the 1st time Indians are standing up for themselves and this day will be remembered as the day Indians stood as one unit.

This shouldn't be interperated as being selfish.

2 days has passed and none of the BN leaders ackowledged our plight. One MIC leader failed miserably to display his gymnastic moves in parliament and now is in trouble for that.

Uncle Zorro,

Am I wrong if I say that the greatest disservice a Malaysian can do to his own race & country is to vote for BN?
