DON'T MESS WITH US. WE ARE GIVING FAIR WARNING!

THIS fair warning was issued at a Press Conference that Rodi and I attended one day after we returned from Sibu. They were issued by these second year Political Science students who were arrested when they were in KKB town during the Hulu Selangor By Elections. I did mention that they were told to get out of KKB immediately, leave their vehicles behind and only collect them when they appear before the police after the elections.

The guys, all top students, were not having a picnic, nor were they playing marbles around Hulu Selangor. What better place than this occasion to make observations. What better occasion to make a field study. Did you ever wonder why our University ratings are in the pits? They gave their warning to the authorities on 18 May at the Kuala Lumpur Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall. The Police in KKB couldn't make any charge stick but the University authorities said they could. They threatened to sack these students, resulting in the Press Conference.

I thought that good sense would prevail these go back to lectures. No, those saw-dust caesars, those university authorities who were presumably cowed by the BN and mesmerized and hypnotized by the current flavour of the day "Lu tolong wah, wah tolong lu" are caving in to outside demands. Let us see how this acts out.....but the students again say: DON'T MESS WITH US.

good on yer fellows! Don't be intimidated by the umno goons. The whole country is going down the pits and you, for a just and fair Malaysia in the future, can make it happen. These assholes will die and they can't be around forever. Keep on the grind and steadfastly believe in your just resolve as you and only you can build on a true one Malaysia for all peoples!

Zorro,

You say it right why malaysian universities are languishing at the bottom rung of world universities. Imagine political science students expelled by the UKM for participating in field work related to their course. No wonder malaysian universities are churning out unemployable robots who have no idea what the real world is. Next thing you know, students in journalism are only allowed to write on the "goodness" of the UMNO-BN government and Najis for them to get their degrees.

It reminds me of people power . Todate I still remember vividly the literature class on FRENCH REVOULUION attended long time ago.

They wrote the word "BLOOD" on the the wall with blood.

French connection.

Sir ,

Not surprising at all, the bloody Uni management are trying to make an example out of these fellows because the students actions are dangerously independent and might influence others to go and 'observe' the crap taking place during by-elections. Last thing the Uni management (and their political masters) wants are a rebellious, free-thinking student population that participated in the 74' protests against poverty.

Kepada my fellow uni students, don't give up guys, its good that you are fighting back instead of taking this lying down. More Malaysians should come out to openly support you guys and I pray that they don't suffer for this. Cheers.

Dear Zorro,
Wow...the guys are all top students!!!
If they are top students and they are Observers doing Field Studies, why were they being cited for "Campaigning"???
Not logical, ain't it???
Therefore, no case!!!

Perhaps we can help them by sending a fax, e-mail or mail the sample letter (given) to the UKM authority : http://www.malaysia-today.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=32004:urgent-appeal-four-university-students-being-charged-under-uuca-again&catid=18:letterssurat&Itemid=100129

They need our moral support.
