SHE IS SAFE NOW WITH GOD.

Nurin is out there amongst the stars, safe in the firmament. Lets remember her as such. She has left this dark corner we call Malaysia.

But let's be real. Those kids who were abducted WERE LEFT ALONE! I have to be cruel. I put the blame solely on parents who let their children roam in high traffic places like airports and and hypermarts. On Monday, Mrs Zorro was going into the Rest Room at the Giant Hypermart. She saw a five year old girl waiting at the door to the rest room. She waited with the child. A lady appeared and when it was confirmed that the child belonged to her, Mrs Zorro gave this young mother a tongue-lashing that she will not forget for a long time. Patrina had to delay her flight back to the Bahamas by a week because the doctor did not allow her to travel with Wayne and the two boys, Bernie and Ryan, because of an ear infection. She bought a leash for my youngest grandchild Patrick. She would have an eight hour transit in Atlanta before the flight back to Nassau. She was afraid that while in the airport 22 months old Patrick who says Hi to everyone, may stray.

In the west, attaching a leash to a child is common. Over here, we have this warped thinking that only dogs are on a leash. Isn't it better to be safe than sorry? Young parents out there, dont for one moment boast that your kids are indpendent! This is a false boast! YOU will have to take the blame if your child gets lost or abducted. Just remember that there are sickos who walk amongst us.

As for Njurin's murderer. Let's not waste time to put him through our courts where he could go free. I dont have to elaborate here. Let's get hold of him and execute him. Taking the law into our own hands? What do you expect us to do in this lawless times, when our safety and the law can be compromised such that more priority is given to finding out who burnt flags and how to punish the rapper! Dont make me sick! There is enough contagious sickness infecting this country.

And should the opposition want to debate this murder can you already hear the Speaker dismissing it as "not urgent"?

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH U BRO...parents r to b blamed,99% of the time they r in the wrong..as for the murderer,no court, just kill him IMMEDIATELY after he/she is caught...mayb v need some sort of vigilante ehh...??

Yes, Insider, I made a similar comment about a vigilante force to replace the police force in the People's Parliament Blog.

Let's do it together, let's catch this sicko and execute him!!!! Totally for it.

Parents....stop bitching about your life and pay attention to your children and start being proactive in their life.

Government...proudly announcing spending millions of dollars fixing CCTVs at high crime cities will not bloody solve the security issues. Start using you brain and do something more useful for the society.

Yes lets do it together...but if the cops happen to get him first, we can "bail" out him from the cops and then execute him (or her?)

Parents? I heard this on tv just now. When asked about her son's injury in the home made fireworks case in Terengganu a mother said, "Dok die tengok saje". Its this kind of mentality that we have that is hurting our own children.

Yes, you are damn right parents are mainly responsible. These parents are equally to blame. No amount of tears will bring back the dead, don't they know that?

If caught, what if the sicko is related to someone very high up? Could we expect justice?

Che'gu you aked: If the sicko is related to someone very high up can we expect justice? WE DO NOT EXPECT JUSTICE, WE WILL DISPENSE JUSTICE. How's that?

Poor little girl. May she rest in peace.

That sick idiot, when caught, should not live another second. I think tougher laws should be introduced for heinous crimes like this. Is that too much to ask from the powers-that-be who seem to be more interested in other things?

I agree too that parents are totally responsible for their children. With the escalating dangers these days, a leash on a child is one of the best options. At least the parent knows the child is within reach.
Even a situation seemingly harmless like leaving the child at a table in a fast food joint within sight, and going off to the counter to order food, is an opportunity for sick people to grab the child. All it takes is that few minutes to look away i.e. at the menu, into the wallet, etc.

P.S. Nothing is really urgent for those powers-that-be unless it gets too close to home.

yes! aunty zorro did the right thing by giving that girl's mom some piece of mind. they just never learn do they? either they dont read news or they have that typical mentality of believing such cases only happens to others.

huge mistake there.

I tend to disagree with insider re the murderer. Why should we kill him/her IMMEDIATELY? Patience my friend...

TORTURE THE BEAST FIRST LA!!

"aunty zorro did the right" and lucky to get away with it. You never see how some other MALAYSIANS do not that tolerate of being given lecture and like admitting mistakes (else we will not have road bullies, and this behaviour already shown by our YBs). Instead of being grateful, there are some (ignorant) just walk off, some (arrogant) will spat typical “mind your own business”, “who are you to teach me how to become a parent”, “I know what my son is”, “don’t compare my children”, etc, some (aggressive) vent expletive curses and create unwanted scenes inviting spectators that might turn Mrs Zorro instead of vigilante to “mrs.busy body” and “mrs kepoh”. This is what I generally stereotype Malaysians.

If all parents can think, there will be no child abuse, incest report in the newspaper.

Yeah... the parliament would say its "NOT URGENT" because the victim is dead. Neither is a discussion about our judiciary in the now famous "Shock-a-Lingam" controversy because he is retiring. Nothing is URGENT anymore.

justice, my hongkong foot.
the whole judiciary is compromised. the cops are more bent on bidding the calls of the powers-that-be so that they themselves can indulge in their nefarious activities unfettered. (how else do you explain for the posting of gestapos to keep watch on Anwar). the cabinet is more interested in enriching themselves and their cronies. the parliament is a lame duck as the Speaker will deny any issues to be brought up no matter how urgent or important.
Greatest of all is the PM who is still in denial stage with his infamous "I DONT KNOW" response to what is not right.
sadly, this lovely girl is just another statistic to the powers-that-be.

Let us hope this AWAKES us MALAYSIANS that Malaysia needs some revamping. This atmosphere of no accountability will spread to every segment of society into every area.

WE ARE RESPONSIBLE IF WE DO NOT DO WHAT IS RIGHT FROM NOW.

WE NEED TO ENSURE A MORE OPEN AND TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT AND CRIME FIGHTING IN THE COUNTRY. What is all this corrupt IGP allegations, kawan with kingpin stories including various evidences, true or not, we need to DEMAND TRANSPARENCY. It will be more sad news to come but we need to be STRONG and BUILD A MALAYSIA THATS FOR OUR CHILDREN. FREE MALAYSIA FROM ALL THIS CRAP. We need to be the freedom fighters so that we can shout Merdeka meaningfully next year.

Its all about transparency. We have lost that since we are not proud of hard work that we do. We have lost that since we believed we can choose easy way outs. We have lost that since the environment suggest that no one is watching us since the top post go away with corruption easily. We have lost that since no one will really bothers when something bad happens, and we have ourselves to blame.

But, when there is a WILL, there is a WAY

Where is Thy Will, O Malaysians,
Where is thy spirit to seek after justice
Where is thy compassion to comfort the loss
Where is thy anger over injustice

Has it been silenced by ISA?
Has it been tamed by uncompetitiveness?
Has it been confused over misreporting of the mass media?
Has it been screwed up by the powers that be?
So that we do not know what is praise worthy and what is shameful?

Kerja halal harus dipuji
Penat lelah datangkan rezeki
Yang lemah menerima subsidi
Yang tamak hukuman diberi
Sistem adil mendorong kualiti
Kerja halal tak patut disembunyi
Biar yang miskin mendapat DEB
Yang kaya diskaun rumah tak dikehendaki
Lebih bangga dengan amalan terpuji
Sejak bila kita tidak ingin disegani
Selepas mendapat easy money?
Tetapi melupakan pahala Ilahi
Jalan yang benar biar diikuti
Adil dan saksama dijadikan polisi
Berkat Ilahi melimpah dikehendaki

My condolences to Nurin's family. But Malaysians let us be responsible for our actions. Let us not be sorry for Malaysia. Let us live righteous lives and reform Malaysia.

Spot on! Touche! Hawaiichee.
Yes we seems to have lost the stamina to FIGHT! I pray that I will not lose this stamina. I had an anonymous caller reminding me that Kamunting still exists. I casually reminded him that it has been long time since I visited my hometown Taiping...the town of peace. We walk side by side?

Hi Uncle B,

I heard (about not urgent)...

Yes, the leash sounds good from where I am...It is to make sure a child doesn't go missing...After all, the shopping complexes and everywhere else nowadays are mad houses...Don't talk about kids, even we get lost even when we have a much higher view than the children!

I remember how my mother used to tell me when I was young to scream for my life if I ever get pulled by someone I don't know. She also told me to always head for the security guards or the information counter or the cashier if I ever got seperated from her...

Nowadays though, security guards also not safe anymore...Sigh...

PS: You know, in the US, burning the flag is not a crime, neither is burning the effigy of the President...It's called 'Freedom' to express...

Hi Daphne, Zorro & All readers...

That's why they called American a bad influence...but if we don't let our children to be creative and stand up for what's right, there's no tomorrow for our future, just as what I can see about Malaysia now, forever monopolized by a bunch of hard headed people who only care about personal interest, how to get richer and leave the poor to die.

Also, it is always nice to hear the American anthem sang in different style of music and tunes according to the artists (rock, blues, country, classical, etc...) especially during national sports. How beautiful!!! *My cheer to Wee...carry on your creativity and stand for your right!*

Young Malaysian, what are you waiting for?????

Hey Zorro

Just read from the Star about Mhd Nazri from the PM office saying to investigate and possibly of charging Nurin's parents for negligence...

WTF......a child went missinf and ended up dead...is this all they can come up with?

Man...I am so glad I am not in Malaysia any more because I am freaking done with these so called our leaders, they are a bunch of dispeakable bullies and that's kind to even name calling them bullies.
