OF CATTLE AND CLUB.....

The government gives out RM250 million to fatten some BN cattle….

Taib insisted he can only scrape together a miserable RM3.47million to alleviate all the hard core rural poverty in the state, it fairly beggars belief that he has felt it appropriate to generously donate land worth at least RM30million to the members of the Sarawak Club.

BUT obviously these below belong to a different club….the club of doom?

GOOGLE “POVERTY IN MALAYSIA” AND THE IMAGES ABOVE ARE AVAILABLE

But we can't really blame these abjectly poor Malaysians for living in the wrong country! Can we?

MEET ME MINAH AND SAY THIS TO MY FACE.

I posted OCCUPY KUANTAN on 5 February. Here are two comments:

Minah said...

* I live in Kuantan. We Kuantanites do not fear the Lynas issue at all.
We live happily here. It's the non-Kuantanites who flock our town that's poluuting the air.
Shame on you guys. Go back to where you belong.

Wake up , if the plant is good the white man would have kept it for themselves. Do you think they are so generous to share it with the people of Kuantan?

PODAH MODERATION!

IS THAT “WATER BILL” NADA ON THE LEFT?

ALL SOUND AND FURY SIGNIFYING NOTHING….

“Even though we may differ in terms of faith, moderation exists in almost all religions... Moderation points to an understanding of not practising extreme, fanatical, militant or violent ideology among us,” trumpeted Ah Jib Gor at last night’s Chap Goh Meh celebration.

Yet you allow those two party less particles, both sons of some Ali to peddle their militancy, racism and fanaticism vociferously?

Moderation my ass!

“Barisan Nasional is a responsible coalition. You can place your hopes and trust in us. The people can trust us to do not only what is right but what is in their best interests,” he added at the 2010 Barisan Convention.

We have heard of the high handedness in which the BN/Umno controlled Police, Customs and Immigration carry out their duties. We all know what happened to individuals like Teoh Beng Hock, Kugan, Ahmad Sarbani, Amirul Rashid and a host of other unfortunate souls whose lives came to an abrupt end
when they came up against these BN/Umno controlled government agencies. On January 29, 2012, Derek Tan and his pregnant wife probably had Teoh Beng Hock, Kugan, Ahmad Sarbani, Amirul Rashid in their thoughts when the Malaysian Immigration officers stormed into their home in a manner in which thugs or loan sharks would do.
And do read the email Derek sent to the IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT.

Do we not see a commonality in how these government enforcers behave: They seem to have problem acting like any normal human being and have a serious appetite for abuse.

“Barisan Nasional is a responsible coalition. You can place your hopes and trust in us. The people can trust us to do not only what is right but what is in their best interests,” he added at the 2010 Barisan Convention.

Malaysia will be the best democracy in the world” he declared in his Malaysia Day speech and hoped that his audience will forgot his earlier announcement: "Even if our bodies are crushed and our lives lost, brothers and sisters, whatever happens, we must defend Putrajaya," so declared Prime Minister Najib Razak when he was frantically beating the war drums at the 61st Umno general assembly. Moderation or Desperation?

But he always he ended his speech to the 50,000 (who came to watch the Taiwanese artistes) in his trademark patronizing “you help me, I help you” pathetic platitude: “What did reverend ask for just now? She asked for a road? Sure, I will give the allocation. I’ll pass the requested allocation, because reverend is very good to me (????), so I am good to her,” he said. And on cue Liow and Donald led the applause!

“You help me, and I can help you.Nambikei. You trust me and I trust you,” the PM offered to the Taipusam devotees this morning

LAN…..oh, never mind….Liar Liow and Duck Donny Lim need their share of the orgasmic 5 seconds blast!

HE NEVER FAILS TO AMAZE ME…THIS SIR WENGER.

The Chinese vote (in Johore) is actually much less fractured than the Malay or Indian vote for that matter. If indeed the tsunami hits Johor, we can expect something like 70% of Chinese voting for Pakatan, as a minimum. (This is what happened in 2008. But in 2012, we got some new thingy called Perkasa hooray!)

HERE IS WHY!

OCCUPY KUANTAN?

It was reported that some 2,000 residents (1 out of 304) from around Kuantan yesterday descended on Teluk Cempedak beach in a protest against the Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) and mining company Lynas. HERE

The protest comes three days after the AELB granted a temporary operations licence (TOL) for the RM700 million Lynas Advanced Material Plant (Lamp) in Gebeng, Kuantan.

Kuantan's population is approximately 607,778. The population of Kuantan is composed of 57% Malay, 32% Chinese, 10% Indian and 1% other races. According to the [World Gazetteer], a calculation indicates that the annual population growth of Kuantan is the greatest among the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, which is 3.88 in general. Will his growth continue with LYNAS toxic dumpsite in its backyard? Some serious FLOOD too.

ARE ONLY 0.329% OF KUANTANITES CONCERNED? However, I laud the continued opposition these 2000 showed against the Government of Pahang.

Shouldn’t we from outside Kuantan march into Kuantan to OCCUPY KUANTAN and to stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters?

COULD ABU BE THE SOLUTION?

1CARE OR CRONY-CARE?

The Citizens’ Healthcare Coalition (CHC), together with the Federation of Private Medical Practitioners’ Associations, Malaysia (FPMPAM), denounced the health ministry’s 1Care initiative to implement this national insurance-based system to fund healthcare.

“We should all support the CHC on this. The goverment has shown that they do not care about the rakyat and keep coming up with scams every now and then to benefit their crony and steal more money from the rakyat.

What happens to those who do not have a job, where will they go for healthcare.

What about the poor and aged. The government wants us to pay 10% of our salary per month for this insurance. According to what the government wants to do is assign the patient to only 1 doctor and the patient will not be able to see another doctor. On top of that the patient will only be able to see the doctor 6 times a year. So imagine if you are earning RM2,000, RM200 will be deducted every month which totals RM2,400, divide this by 6 times, it comes to RM400 per visit. This is madness. Even private hospitals charge less for each visit,” commented FAIRNESSFORALL in Malaysiakini today.

WHAT NOW PAKATAN?
