MY FRIDAY GUEST BLOGGER: DR RAFICK OF RIGHTS2WRITE.

I have a gift.....the only one my FRIEND up THERE has given me, besides some other blessings .......only one gift because HE knows that I cannot handle too many. This gift: the first time I meet a person, I like or do not like that person. This has stood me in good stead and I remember to thank HIM for that. Some call it perception, others intuition. Purely semantics. Its a GIFT!

Allow me the liberty of just two examples:

I followed RPK, Datuk Zaid and Haris to Ipoh when news broke that the Sultan was dismissing Perak MB Datuk Nizar. In the MB residence ground, Bangsar Bala called out to me. I went to him. He introduced me to Malim Nawar's Keshminder Singh thus: "He also was offered to go over!" The YB offered his hand. I did not take it and just walked away. Who would buy you unless you have something to sell? Who would target you unless you are an easy target? UMNO has amassed experience here on who has or has not a price. You thinking about all those recent frogs, yah....... all have something worth bargaining for, no?

I liked Muk, the first time was when Marina, his sister, introduced us at a Perdana Foundation lunch.. He was not an MP yet. The second time was when we were raising funds to pay rental for BlogHouse and he came to lend his support. He has a certain quietness and reserve about him that I liked. Of course, he is now a Cabinet Member, a Deputy Minister and #2 to Major Khairy. He has changed of course. A nice chap but badly brought up by his new UMNO family. In bad company that is.

So what has this got to do with my Friday Guest Blogger?

Dr Rafick wrote early this week:

Firstly, allow me to clarify that I support the plight of the Palestinians as an oppressed group. The Israelis is best described as “legalize terrorist” which acts to their whims and fancies in defiance of any international law. The original Palestinians consist of Muslims, Jews, Christians and some other minority Arabs. The post WW II scenario in Palestine is about land or territorial grabbing which were created by the people who were transplanted there by the British and the Americans. It is never about religion. Having said that I find the call to save the Palestinians and free Baitulmuqadis as an act of Jihad is a bit far fetched.

So obvious that is Dr Rafick knows next to nuts about the Palestine issue besides the veneer of political land grabbing as seen with the naked mind...go back to the time of Moses and he will know, unless of course if he is an atheist...

KUALA LUMPUR, June 18 — If it were not for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, right-wing groups like Perkasa and Gertak would cease to exist, says Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz.

The minister in the prime minister’s department said the reason for the rise of these Malay rights groups was because the former prime minister had been endorsing..................

True.........!
Damm true..........!
A racist always a racist.
Mamak Kutty is the master of the racism group...

So.....what now ?!
Act fast....................!
Katak Ali, Zooo Nordin, Songkok tinggi and the rest of the racist morron should have to search for a "Ginseng" that can prolong the life of his master...........

Haaaaaaaaaa..................

Otherwise, these groups soon to be extinct species.

It's a good thing Umno use the millions cash to buy over PR MP's or ADUNs. Soon there will be a huge influx of BN reps into PR! Why? Some of them have been loyalist for years and had not seen such amount of money fall on their lap. These are the hardworking bunch whom had struggled just to get a few thousand for election machineries. Not even into their own pocket.
Some of them even had the thought of defecting into PR and after a while negotiate with Umno to get a few million to go back into umno. Like zahrain (ex-umno too ).

It's never been easier to earn million ringgit cash, especially for those in Pakatan. Today we hear over 800 DAP members quit the party. Umno has added another 800 to Malaysia's millionaire club member! 800 x ?million = ?billions !!! Nice...

Our future is at stake. The BN government is gambling on our future whether the licence is reissued or otherwise. Vincent Tan will be compensated for his present and past 'national services' to the BN.

How he'll be compensated is anybody's guess but it'll definitely be a big fat sum. The outcome is clear, we are the losers. Whatever little money left in our pocket will be moved to Vincent Tan's bank account.

It does not matter how you look at it, gambling is bad for Malaysians. Najib wants to issue the sport gambling licence to Vincent. MCA comes out loud to support it. PPP also sings the same tune. Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad sings the loudest in support of it. Do you think they support sports gambling because they care about Malaysians?

Why must the government so adamant in pleasing just one tycoon who is already filthy rich? In pleasing this guy, the consequence is that thousands will eventually suffer financial woes from betting on sports results.

- discreet and regarded harmless fellow huh? HAHA, remember he is his father's son and Najib knew what needs done just by his old man's smirk looks!

Give the 'nice chap' time, facts and realities tommorrow. Do we expect good water from muddy spring and sweet fruit from bitter seed?

On the frontpage headline of The Sun on 21 June, Nazri said: jangan semua undang-undang berdasarkan keperluan orang islam sahaja".

Does that mean that we could have non-halal food at government canteen? or at hotel or at food courts?

Malays today are at a crossroad; we are lost. However, instead of bravely assessing the choices and moving forward on a course that would best meet those challenges, we have retreated in the hope of reaching the starting point and beginning afresh. That is, to reboot, in computer language.

Alas there is no reboot or reset button. What we should do instead is extract the wisdom of our culture that had stood us well in our daily kampong life and apply that to our current predicament. Those pithy, catchy sayings are just that; they do not help us comprehend our problems, much less solve them.

Dont quite get it. So do you like Dr Rafick or dislike him

zorro said...

Anon639....whether I like or dislike Dr Rafick is not the point when I select my Guest Blogger. He gave us the other side of the coin unlike the sycophant mainstream media. My intro must have misled you and there was no intention to.It was only recently that Muk's father appointed him as Adviser of Perdana Foundation, the reason of which still escapes me.
