CAN MAKE HAY BEFORE THE SUN DOES NOT SHINE?

In early May, rumors were abuzzed that the the Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid would leave the Ministry when the PM reshuffles his Cabinet.Talk was that the PM's cousin the Home Minister Hishammuddin will take office as the new Defence Minister. Talk being talk, this did not happen and the sun still shines. But of course everyday is not a sunny day, yah? SO?

Even before the arrival of KD Tun Razak, expected in late July or early August, the Defence Minister wants to purchase three MRSS (Multi-Role Support Ships) to replace the MPSS (Multi-Purpose Support Ship) fire-gutted and damaged KD Inderapura. But since everybody does not believe that we are going bankrupt the Ministry will spend a few bucks for three MRSS. Here I fail to understand the difference between Role and Purpose. Not same difference, no?

The plan is to purchase one first, send a few of our experts to learn ship-building and then come home and build them in Bolehland. Have we forgotten the escapades of the fugitive Amin "Onasis of Malaysia" Shah?

This brings to mind a comment I read recently:

While I am proud to be Malaysian, sometimes I lament our technical abilities. A car industry that can barely build an engine, a ship industry that can't assemble ships (Boustead), then there's that fiasco with the engineering plans for an old bridge....

But not to worry, the sun can peep through.....

I kid you not. This from Star online:

The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) will be acquiring three Multi-Role Support Ships (MRSS) worth RM2.2bil to provide faster humanitarian and disaster relief.

Ahmad Zahid also added that, currently, five ship builders have been accepted from several countries in Europe and Asia for the building of one of the three MRSS.

“The first MRSS will be built in a foreign country while the other two will be built locally,” he said.

He added that several Malaysian experts would also be sent to the chosen country to acquire the knowledge on the construction of the ships.

“These experts will then return to Malaysia and start the building of the remaining two ships there,” he said.

The sun will shine for sure!

KHAIRY then has a long wait ....no he cannot wait ..... as an UMNO discard he has to go it alone on his 100 flotilla mission. This probably to show his nemesis that whilst HE has only 1, he KJ will get 100!

Meanwhile, we wait for KD Tun Razak to dock safely in Lumut.

Why spend so much on weapon?
To defend or to attack?

KJ cannot be a minister while losers from mca can. Time is up for him while that maverick guy is still running the country.

"We are ready to go there ourselves to help in Gaza. We hope the Malaysian government allows more ships, 10, 20 or even 100. We want to open the eyes of the world to what has happened,” he added......."

Even if the MoD acquire all 3 Multi-Role Support Ships from a foreign country, it would be much cheaper than the 2.2billion we have to pay by purchasing one while building the remaining two ourselves.

If only we could build a scooter engine from the ground up, I might even timidly believe that our navy personnel would not drown in sea because the vessel capsized due to construction incompetence of our own doing.

The roof of our Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium collapsed one year after completion. If a fix structure on firm ground can do that, can you comprehend the expertise needed to complete a welded structure made for use in the open sea?

Here's a reminder to the brave soldiers in our navy.

NEVER FORGET THAT YOUR VESSEL IS MADE BY THE LOWEST BIDDER !!!!

Berok Khairy and his stupid bravado! Why try to go it alone with a hundred ships? Take all your DUMBNO cabinet ministers in your new acquired submarine and sink all the Israeli ships. That would put you stupidos as the saviours of the Muslim world.

Bodoh punya DUMBNO with their sodomy brains.

Remember that $24 billion patrol boats contract awarded to Amin Shah and PSCI?

The Treasury gave them an advance of $4 billion and to-date they have delivered 1 1/2 ships none of which function!!

That's how good a boat building industry we have.

All it maeans is that Zahid Hamidi will make sure Boustead or some Ali Baba becomes a minority shareholder in a JV with some Jap or French shipbuilder and earn gaji buta rent as in the case of $8 billion DRB contract for light armoured tanks for "UN observation duty in Afghanistan!!!!??"

UMNO/BN - looters and plunderers!

we are all of 1 race, the Human Race

The Sarawak government’s failure to uphold the Penan’s rights to their land is in violation of the principles of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. The activities of logging and plantation companies have impoverished them, destroying their sources of food and clean water. We are also concerned that Penan and other indigenous people are threatened with displacement for the construction of the Murum dam and other hydroelectric dams across the state, again without their consent.
