NOW WE ARE FLIP-FLOP LAND!

BY THE LOOK OF THINGS WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS....INCREMENTALLY CLIMBING FROM BOLEHLAND, TO BODOHLAND AND ACHIEVING NOTHING LESS THAN BOCORLAND. AND NOW THIS APPENDAGE!

On Sunday afternoon, Tun Abdul Majid was told to lead the Prosecuting team in the murder trial of Mongolian Altantuya Shaaribuu. an eleventh-hour brainwave from the AG Department. When asked to explain he brushed the query off with "I am not privy to this." The Attorney General was asked why the flip-flop on prosecuting team replied: "I have nothing to say. Thank You." Coming from the Top Cat, this is disconserting. This is definitely not transparent. The people, the world need to know. DOESN'T HE REALIZE THAT THE MALAYSIAN JUDICIARY IS ON TRIAL? The world watcheth. And just after our DPM assured international fund managers and the Singapore Government over the Iskandar Development, that there will be no more flip-flops. The number of changes is comedic and a defense lawyer withdrew because of interference from a third part. Gee, this is thrilling. Expect more flip-flops from TANAH FLIP-FLOP. The Minister of Tourism should take the cue and invite all international best-selling crime-thriller authors into town for front-seat experience of how we do things in Flip-flop land. I rest my case and discharge myself from further comments.

Won't be flip-flop for too long, Zorro.
If we don't do something, this nation will certainly be a big flop.

When the AG said the change was to ensure "a fair trial", I wonder whose "fair trial" was he referring to?
A "fair trial"
for the Mongolian lady?
for the grievous father?
for Baginda and the other two accused?
or for some VVIP who might be implicated in the course of the trial?
On the sideline, thanks brother for the kind words you left in my posting. I will give Mum one bear hug from you the next time I see her!

Do give one of mine to Aunty Kuan too. Thanks again!

Let's only pray that justice will be served. With only 2 weeks of preparation, one really wonder if this is possible.

dg wants fair play. reason for change?
prosecutor was seen to be playing badminton with the judge.

anon, spot on. He needs to be changed. Cobwebs all over his department. Accused killer of migrant worker was not in court because AG Department, or prosecution failed to get "produce" order from Sg.Patani. That's flip-flop delivery from Tanah FlipFlop.

You're wrong, Zorro. Dead wrong. Not only the judiciary is on trial here. We Malaysians as a nation are. So the incompetence of others, be it a certain race or otherwise will surely reflect on us as a whole to the world.

I regret not being specific. Of course we as a nation is under the international radar and microscope. I already hear the muffled sniggering at the way we do things. Expect to hear the blast of redicule coming our way. But you think the powers that be bother? They are so mired in their omnipotence and blinded by their self-importance. But we malaysians are cowardly. We are so comfortable in that confort zone that we dare not accept change. Changes disturb the status-quo. Changes mean making adjustments to new changes. We are too lackadaisical. However the opportunity to make MINOR changes is available in the next GE. I stress Minor. We can take incremental steps to INCITE changes.THE DECISION IS OURS.If we choose not to change, then it is best we hold our tongue and not look for scapegoats.Lets decide to be PROUD Malaysians.
