A very good man, Pak Samad. Always reassuring to see him with his Tok Guru beard and friendly demeanor; never once has he been aloof or lacking in warmth. Thank you, Bernard, for giving me an opportunity to record my fondness of this great soul.
History book should be edited to include the contributions of Pak Samad (and other Nationalists that have been neglected). That is the least the government could do to honor his contribution to our Independence.
