We may not be in the same basket with Sudan but we're sure in the same shithole with Zimbabwe and Burma.
When the Home Minister announced an act that is unconstitutional and above the civil law, the highest law of the Country, rest assured we already are in the pits as Sudan and all the rest of the failed Taliban states. We were at least civilized once (Majapahit, Sri Vijaya etc) but not anymore.

I thought we have outlived the "Dinosaur" era ? Looks like we are heading back into the old age once again. The people in power is just trying out the new way of reforms and doing it in the name of religion.
Thus, we have different sets of law for the country. One for the ruling politicians, one for the other politicians, one for the common people and another for the religious ones. One for the families of those with right connection, one for the citizens of second & third class.

I am a Muslim convert and now in my mid sixties. To be honest and frank I am just sick and tired of hearing of all these propagation of Islamic laws and punishment.
