WHAT COCKAMAMIE? NOTHING DECENT TO SAY, ZIP!

Whilst waiting for Eric Voon (I am a Malaysian) to give me a ride to the Kelana LRT station I went into the condo convenience store to purchase some gum. I glanced at the Star and true to running- dog fashion this headline zapped me:

DON’T BREAK LAW.

Below it were these:

  • PM says it in Kampala (traveling again): Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the arrests made were not racial issue but for sedition offences. (Say it sir, did your boys said it is sedition or did you read the transcript yourself?)

  • DPM warns against sedition: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the people can speak up but they should not be seditious. (Sir, was it 1987 or 1997at TPCA Stadium, someone said that he would bathe the keris in Chinese blood? If that is not seditious, it definitely is not a nice thing to say. Yes?)

Got to go walk with my Indian Brothers and Sisters. Eric just arrived.

TOMORROW I WALK ALONGSIDE MY INDIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

My participation in this walk has got nothing, absolutely nothing to do with claiming compensation from the British Queen. It has got nothing to do with Hindraf. It has got nothing to do with being against the incumbent government. But it has everything to do with the marginalised Indians, Malays, and Chinese, especially the destitute and abject poor. The government has paid a lot of lip-service but done little to elevate our disadvantaged from the throes of poverty. And this, after 50 years of boasted prosperity. I am just an angry Malaysians who sees our priorities dissipated to sending people into space and pandering to the rich and famous under the guise of attracting tourist dollars, whilst the Malaysian poor grovel in stark poverty' I question how much of these earned money is channeled to the poor. I have always been an advocate of the NEP, in as long as the poor are in this loop. I still believe in this although the NEP has been hijacked to enrich the already bloated and corrupted rich elite, who under the guise of party politics, will wield keris and draw blood, all for a race. A hypocritical gimmick that works though.

Tomorrow's walk, despite the agenda of Hindraf, to me is the walk to address the plight of the poor amongst the Malays, Indians and Chinese. I hope the authorities see it that way. I really hope they do. If they do hit me tomorrow with whatever I hope they know that I am walking in support of some poor relative of theirs.

Do you know what being poor IS? I didn't until after 13 May. As a teacher, I never allowed the collection of school fees to eat into my period in class. All must pay their monthly fees on the first Thursday of the month....not before, not after. I did not understand why some could not bring Rm2.50 every first Thursday. I was hard on those who flouted this rule. I sure was hard on them. May 13 happened and my parish priest and I distributed food in Sentul Dalam. I found that some of my students lived in squalid Railway quarters. I was shocked because all along I have not seen what abject poverty was. How could human beings be housed in these small hovels they dare to call quarters! How can school kids ever study in such conditions? No wonder these kids barely make it, except by divine intervention.

When school re-opened I publicy apologised to the kids in my class for being hard on them over the payment of fees. I cried when i apologised individually to those in my class who lived in those railway quarters. After that I paid their monthly fees. I then got the Apex Club (of which I was Bursary Chairman) to raise funds for the poor.

Have you seen children fight with dogs over scraps in the dumpsters? I have outside Chow Kit wet market. I was wondering why a group of dogs were seated around a dumpster. Then one dog jumped in and immediately jumped out.....heads popped out and three young kids (aged maybe 7 or 8) reared their heads over the dumpster. They were scavenging for food! They have not done their job (collecting or eating) in the dumpster. The dogs had to wait their turn.

And what about Theresa from Seremban. She was 19 years old when she was apprehended by the authorities in one Seremban brothel. She went into it, to put food on the table for a crippled and bed-ridden mother and 5 siblings. Father had abandoned them. She was in the Good Shepherds home for wayward children in Ulu Klang for rehabilitation. I did welfare work there and met this pretty young prostitute. To cut a long story short, she approached me during one Sunday visit and told me straight in face, "Mr. Khoo, my sister Cecilia will have to do what I cannot do. She has to pay the Cambridge Certificate exam fees. She is a good student and she must take this exam." Money was collected and Cecilia took the exam and later gained a scholarship to do her Form Six. (What happened to Theresa and Celia will be for another posting....a happy posting).
Remember this May 2007 posting about Lisa and her four girls. She earns Rm500 as a contract cleaner but Rm350 goes to rental of a low cost flat she had to live in for the sake of her daughters. Karen and I met this family when we spent Sunday afternoons providing some tuition and food for a group of kids around the apartments. Karen identified them as a family we had to give more aid to. Thus began monthly provisions. However, when the person organising these feeding and tuition program heard about the treatment we offered, Lisa's girls were excluded from the sunday program. In protest Karen looked at other places to offer her help. Today she sews blankets to sale to raise funds for the poor and now spends Saturday mornings doing what she loves best....feeding the poor and helping kids with their school work. She still sees Lisa and the kids once a month. Karen works tirelessly for the poor. She knows what it is to be poor. My father-in-law was a mere bus driver with 13 mouths to feed in a rented timber-kongsi quarters that even the kongsi workers chose not to stay in.

I am walking for people like these. My walk may be of no consequence. It will not change our Malaysian landscape, but until we collectively make a first step, this will just be a dream. My vision is to see the plight of our destitute poor improve humanely. I keep reminding myself that VISION without ACTION is merely a dream.

STOP IT Anon 3.52am.

The above reader who visited a the posting Messy, Messier and Messiest is amongst a few who has been mentioning two Court of Appeals Judges YA Mokhtar Sidin and YA Low Hop Bin and in the beginning, probing me to investigate them. I admitted that I am not familiar with the "misdeeds" of these two Judges. I did a posting on 17 Nov. revealing all the comments (by now the urgings were more like egging me on). But enough is enough when I received this from Anon 3.52: I post it here:

Anonymous said...

Zorro, you sudah tualah! Datuk Low Hop Bing's name myou pun tak berani tulis. How can you call yourself Zorro. Zorro got ball not balless.

Lingam brother already said in his police report that Lingam asked him to bring a bag full of ... to Datuk Low Hop Bing, Court of Appeal Judge.

Zorro you better ask the CJ to suspend Low Hop Bing from dispensing justice to the highest bidder!!!

Low Hop Bing is the super star of all judges for taking ... Coming on Zorro you know what I mean isn't it... m?

Anon 3.52am, you have to get something clear from the start. This blog reports to no one. This blog will never be coerced into doing anything that is unethical or shoddy. This blog is not a witch-hunt bureau. This blog will not put into print anything that is just hearsay and its veracity suspect. You are treading on dangerous grounds, thus my international sign for poison above.

I have been called many things too. But ball-less? At my last yearly medical check-up, everything including what the doctor above saw too was A OK. Not as active as before unless "motivated" sufficiently, but still functional sans viagra-aided. Try me, but the temptress you provide must be the reincarnation of Beelzeebub. Down boy!...oopppps getting a bit of a hard on just thinking about your temptress. Of late I have been writing a lot about things scrotal, its strength and liabilities. You said: Lingam brother already said in his police report that Lingam asked him to bring a bag full of ... to Datuk Low Hop Bing, Court of Appeal Judge. Anon, a bagful of what? If you know it you must reveal it. You must have that scrotal fortitude to give us the truth. I have the report in front of me . Item 1 says: "I was used by my brother Dato V Kanagalingam to corrupt the former Chief Judge Tun Eusoff Chin, the former Attorney General Tan Sri Moktar Abdullan, the Former IGP Tan Sri Rahim Noor, the present cour t of appeal Judges Dato Mokhtar Sidin, the present Court of Appeal Judge Dato Low Hop Bin and a former Judge Dato K .L Rekraj"......No where is there any mention of a bagful of.......?

Anon, in my earlier days I have done many things....that bordered on dangerous, non-conforming and anti-establishment. But I don't remember doing anything STUPID. I will not swim amongst sharks or fish in troubled waters.
The line between truth and untruths is thin and sometimes indiscernible. I may walk near that line but my trusty boots will never cross that line.

Asking me to ask the Cj to suspend these two is a bit preposterous of you. Maybe you will label me a coward, but I'd rather be a live coward than a dead hero.

The picture above is a sign that you see on ski slopes. The message is starkly clear. Anon, I have no investigative training. I cannot dig into people's private lives. You seem to know so much but reveal nothing. If you have nothing to reveal, let this be your last posting. If you have nothing to contribute towards the damning of these two, hold your peace. If you have something, like an axe to grind with these two judges.....dont use this blog. Zorro will never be a Judge Dredd.

PEACE TO MEN OF GOODWILL AND PISS TO THOSE WHO BEAR ILLWILL.

HERE IS A CLASSIC CASE OF RUNNING DOGS ,LACKEYS, OR TURNCOATS...and to think of it.....we pay their salaries.

At 10.30am this Friday morning, the over-active authorities HANDCUFFED and ARRESTED human rights lawyer-activists, and Hindraf legal advisor, P Uthayakumar at this office. Sources said that he will be charged under the Sedition Act this afternoon. I am amazed at the speed and alacrity of the Police in this instance!

BUT WE FORGET THAT WE COMMONERS WILL NEVER GET THE RESPONSE THE PRIVILEGED GETS......and to think that it is our money that pays these cops.....well here is another example of RUNNING DOGS.

...and I have been waiting since September for the police to arrest the uncle of a State chief, who has sexually molested a 45 year old lady in Tanjong Karang. This is the background:

In July 2007, a 54 year old woman was sexually molested by a 70 year old man, her neighbour. The woman, Siti Asmidah Binti Sanusi, went to complain to the imam of the local mosque and he advised her not to make a fuss over the matter as the culprit is related to the Selangor Menteri Besar. The imam told the fraught woman that the sexual predator known as Samsudin is an uncle to Khir Toyo and was in fact his wakil calun during the last election.

Nevertheless, she could not keep quiet any longer because this was not the first time this man had molested her and by now the whole village was aware of the incident. So, on 12 September 2007, she made a police report. But the police did not take any action by virtue of the fact that the sexual predator is 'someone' and related to the Menteri Besar.

A reader sent me an email and asked:

In the meantime, we would like the police to explain what they are doing about the police report this 54 year old woman made. Is this 70 year old man that powerful that he can enjoy exemption from being brought before a court of law? When a minor who stole RM0.90 can be jailed for two years and another who left his identity card at home can be detained for six months, does this mean these crimes are more serious than the crime of sexually molesting a woman?

If this is not true and if the well-connected man did not sexually molest this woman, then maybe the police can arrest the woman for making a false police report and send her to jail for a long, long time. This will not be the first time that the victim is jailed while the criminal walks free. This is, after all, Malaysia, and in Malaysia semua boleh.

IN SIMPLE LAYMAN LANGUAGE WE CALL THIS SELECTED PERSECUTION, MALAYSIAN STYLE.

CANDLES FOR P UTHAYAKUMAR AND HIS FAMILY.

THE RUNNING DOGS OF ARMNO!

pic/graphics courtesy of witso per kindness of Lulu

So what's this about RUNNING DOGS? How do you qualify to be a running dog? What's the definition of a Running Dog.

After some research I have come up with this:

...thug, running dog, one who performs evil for a powerful person or organisation

......a servile follower or lackey

[Translation of Chinese (Mandarin) zou gou : zou, running + gou, dog.]

In fact there is a book of this title:

Running Dog is a novel by Don DeLillo published in 1978. At its center is a rumored pornographic film of Adolf Hitler, purportedly filmed in his bunker in the climactic days of Berlin's fall. The novel follows a journalist as she tries to penetrate a murky black market of wealthy erotic-art collectors in order to locate the film. The tale grows increasingly wild and violent as she closes in on this bizarre grail.

The book derives its title from a fictional "underground" magazine modeled on Rolling Stone

So one can conclude that there isn't a thread of anything positive in this term Running Dog. As such witso was indeed kind with his graphics under the photo. He had a bunch of cute pedigree dogs. The pictures below would do more justice to running dogs. They are what we would refer to as mongrels, pariah, or what the Bahamas call them, pot-cakes.
Scavengers of carcass would also be appropriately appropriate!
And they usually move in packs......never cowardly single

Can anyone take a wild guess who is this running dog we are featuring. No prize for guessing. Yeah, after the BN government went to town spinning that the King did not looking kindly on the Yellow Wave, this government MCA lackey took the lead as chief running dog.

My blogger friend Lulu has this to say about this obese running dog:

Do you know that this uncle who called the press conference has run many times in Bukit Bintang, but never won before.
Exception, of course, would be the "For the election, Wee Choo Keong, everything. How much, no body would have done all these" court decision mentioned in the Lingam tape. And that of course, was not an honest way to be the MP for Bukit Bintang.
And in the 04 elections, probably because kalah so many times, he decided to field a woman candidate who garnered 18,821 votes, of which 24% were from postal votes.
Uncle, you of all people should know where Jalan Bukit Bintang, Jalan Pudu, Jalan Alor and Jalan Merlimau is relative to the Palace, Dataran Merdeka, Masjid Negara, Masjid Jamek, Sogo and Central Market.
To blame the Bersih march for loss of business, man.... it's no wonder why he lost so many times

HE THOUGHT HE COULD GET SOME BROWNIE POINTS GETTING THIS GANG BEHIND HIM.

HERE AGAIN IS ANOTHER LACKEY IN THE CO-ALITION GOVERNMENT WHO HAS LOST ALL SENSE OF SHAME.

MESSY, MESSIER, MESSIEST.

It sure was explosive, what was revealed by Wee Choo Keong, the expelled-MP of Bukit Bintang, that is. His pre -Press Conference sms to us was that the Lingam tape is child's play compared to what he had to reveal this morning at 11.20am. The small conference room of the MDP had filled up by 10.45am with TV crews, members of the press and 7 socio-political bloggers.

In welcoming the press, Mr Wee made reference to the assurance by Nazri's assertion during the Al Jazera's recent 101 East program that "there is press freedom in Malaysia and the press is free to publish what they like." He said that this sentiment was endorsed by the SIL during the said program. Wee's press statement called on "Editors, from now on fear not, just publish all matters of public interests and the government will protect you."

MESSY

It is common knowledge that as far back as 1988, the Judiciary was beginnning its slide into a messy state. This messiness was kick-started with the controversial dismissal of then Lord President, Tun Salleh Abas. Despite this, Wee, began to probe the malpractices of Tan Sri Loy Hean Heong's corporate empire. When Wee finally lodged a police report in 1993, the corporate crook obtained an ex-parte injunction that "restrained Wee from printing, publishing, distributing and circulating any allegation against MBf Finance Bhd and Mbf Holdings Bhd or any ot their respective subsidiaries or affiliates (167 in total) or any of their officers." It became a common practice in the Judiciary, from thence on to impose Gag Orders to protect the "special rights" of selected "specials",

MESSIER

It looked like a free-for-all when it came to judicial decisions. Messier judgements was the order of the day. Wee was charged for contempt of court, fined Rm7000 but yet won the 1995 Bukit Bintang seat. The BN candidate who lost filed an Election Petition based on the fine and the then Dato Ahmad Fairuz Shaik Abdul Halim, who conveniently "sat" as Election Judge summarily disqualified Wee and did the messier by appointing the BN candidate as the duly elected MP.
For the next 14 years Wee was in limbo. No campaign was launched against Ahmad Fairuz controversial decision which was a bare-faced affront to basic democratic principle that an MP must be elected and NOT APPOINTED. However, on 12 April 2007, the Court of Appeal allowed Wee's appeal and set aside the said ex-parte injunction, on the grounds that the injunction was very oppressive. But by now the Judiciary was swirling unimpeded into a whirlwind of corruption.
THE JUDICIARY AT ITS MESSIEST
The Lingam Tape was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The Lawyers March and People's Parliament 5000 signed petition to save the judiciary were initiatives that warned that something had to be done. But the Bench's intransigence knew no bounds. Not anymore however.

Wee's press conference would definitely bring down the Titanic Judiciary! Wee produced to all present a police report by none other than THIRUNAMA KARASU a/l KANDAR VELLUPILLAI, the brother of VK Lingam. It was so potent that Karasu feared for his life and has gone into hiding. He sought out Wee and handed him a copy of his police report made in Kelana Jaya on 19.3.07. It is my take that since the report the police did not act, Karasu himself had to act. My surmise, again, is that he chose Wee because Wee's name was mentioned in the infamous tape. WILL THE AUTHORITIES ACT? THE AG DEPARTMENT? THE BAR COUNCIL? THE EXECUTIVE? THE POLICE? I pray they will! I also hope all our borders will be closed to ensure that those named will not creep away in some moonless night.

Whilst money changed hands, even lady's leather handbags and cell phones were also the prefered items of some members of the Bench. HOW LOW HAVE THEY DESCENDED FROM THAT LOFTY BENCH? The contents of the police report made intriguing reading and the luminaries mentioned can just about blind any decent citizens. I just like to mention two names that appeared: Mokhtar Sidin and Low Hop Bin, both Court of Appeal Judges. These are the two that my readers have urged me to investigate. I am thrilled that these two got special mention in Karasu's police report. That is a relief. Let justice run its course.

But before I sign off I'd like to feature a juicy morsel found in the report, Upon a warning that the ACA was on his tail, the action-oriented VK Lingam well-oiled machinery went to work: Money was transfered out. I quote verbatime from the roport:

"Before the ACA can come to my brother office Dato V Knalingam told me, Chinmayadevi (my sister) and Francis Chee Khoon to withdraw large sums of money from Oriental Bank, Jalan Sultan Ismail under the account of Dato V Kanagalingam. Dato V Kanagalingam also told me to take 5 nos bank draft each amounting to 60,000.00 pounds. I also was told by my brother Dato V Kanalingam to open a account under my name in Public Bank and bank in Rm275,000.00 which I did. Mr Francis Kok Chee Khoon also withdraw a large sum of money which he put in a black bag and later bank into his account. My sister Chinmayadevi also withdraw a large sum and followed Mr Francis Kok Chee Khoon. I did not know what my sister Chinmayadevi did with the money.
Later the five bank bank drafts of 60,000.00 pounds each was bank in to the account of the following person in London. This people followed Dato V Kanalingam to London before going to USA Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
1) Mr K Suppiah 60,000.00 pounds was bank into his account in London.
2) Datin Ghanajothi 60,000.00 pounds were bank into her account in London.
3) Mr Rajendra Vellupillai 60,000.00 pound was bank into his account in London
4) Thirunama Karasu Vellupillai 60,000.00 pounds was put into my account in London.
5) Dato V Kanalingam 60,000.00 was put into his account in London.
6) V Kanakalasimi Rm 100,000.00 given cash at No: 28 Section 21/1 Sea Park PJ at her house.

There are of course much more interesting revelations which will become public fare.

I end this post with this appropriate quote from Tun Suffian when asked about the state of the judiciary:

Former Lord President Tun Suffian said: “When I am asked what I thought, my usual reply is that I wouldn’t like to be tried by today’s judges, if I am innocent.

Goodnight good people.....tonight I will dream and in that dream a script to make a movie of this will materialise. Actors? That will be another story......and Kata Tak Nak.....no more hard on I hope and Shah 101.....go and be de-constipated.

AN EXPLOSIVE SUNDAY?

I had just completed a post to satisfy some readers who have been bugging me about the shinanigans of two Court of Appeal Judges. The dropped two names and urged me to do some sweeping under the carpet. I complied by 9.47 this morning and was looking forward to popping something sparkling tonight with my former student Michael Woo, whose son Nelson was taking the nuptial plunge at the Subang Sheraton. My fellow-clinkers would be classmates of Michael whom I taught Form 5 back in 1965. It was going to be a fun night. These guys were the ones who introduced me to smoking! Yeah, so what's so wrong about that? Yeah, I was not an ordinary teacher, you bet. Like I said I was already tuned for the night......when
former Member of Parliament of Bukit Bintang ex-YB WEE CHOO KEONG dropped this SMS.
He was calling for a press conference tomorrow morning at 11.00am. The Lingam Tapes is child's play, his sms annonced. The cigar-chomping elite will be brought to their knees, I take this liberty to surmise.

If, as he says the tape is mild, his revelations must surely be EXPLOSIVE!
.....and I just dont want to imagine the outcome of his revelations!

Teutonic Plates - Political and Judiciary would invariably clash and crash
and I shudder even now thinking about its tsunamic effect.
Come back to this space tomorrow mid-afternoon for the latest seismic upheavals.
