CHEST-THUMPING
DAP+PAS= ISLAMIC STATE
AND ENDED WITH THIS DARE FROM DAP'S CALON WONG HO LENG
SUPP and Robert Lau must ask the Prime Minister to unequivocally declare that Malaysia is not an Islamic state, and withdraw the appeal against the High Court decision permitting the use of the term “Allah” by Christians and release with immediate effect the 15,000 Al-Kitab confiscated by the Malaysian customs
The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak will be having a meeting with Sarawak and Sibu Christian leaders on the coming Friday.
SUPP and Sibu by-elections candidate Robert Lau must make the Prime Minister answer 3 critical questions to prove that Barisan Nasional will protect sacrosanct principle of “freedom of religion” as enshrined in the Malaysian constitution and the 18-point agreement with Sarawak.
2. To demonstrate Barisan Nasional's sincerity and that SUPP has a backbone, the Malaysian government must immediately withdraw the Home Ministry appeal against the High Court decision which has overruled the ban by the Government on the use of the term “Allah”, especially by those of the Abrahamic faith. If PAS is able to declare that there is absolutely nothing in the Quran which forbids the use of the term, and has been steadfast in the rights to freedom of religion of non-Muslims, why is the Barisan Nasional, supported by SUPP playing the extremist role restricting the fundamental rights of non-Muslims?
3. SUPP and Robert Lau must, in the interest of Sarawak Christians demand that Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak immediately order the release the 15,000 Al-Kitabs confiscated by the Malaysian customs in 2009 and give an irrevocable guarantee by the Malaysian government that Al-Kitabs will never again be banned. The Malaysian government should also extend its apologies to the Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB) Church to allow an amicable settlement of the legal suit between them.
Without these demands being met to the full satisfaction of the people of Sibu, SUPP and Robert Lau have no right to represent Sibu as they have demonstrated failure in protecting the interest of Sibu, Sarawakians and Malaysians, despite being a component party of Barisan Nasional.
Failure will also demonstrate SUPP's complete irrelevance in Malaysian politics as they act merely as stooges for the Barisan Nasional government led by UMNO in Peninsula and PBB in Sarawak.
Robert Lau must stop running away from these critical issues of national issues to be a worthy MP not only to the people of Sibu but to all Sarawakians and Malaysians.
BN's maverick Mahathir was the one who declared Malaysia as an Islamic state. So no need for PAS to make any future annoucement on this.
ReplyDeleteRobert may need to seek clarification from najib instead of making all those noise against DAP.
Candiddate Wong Ho Leng knows SUPP candidate, standing under the Barisan banner, would not be in any position to get the PM to make all these 3 requirements. Getting the PM to extend Forest Licenses, yes. Looking for more schemes to put more money into SUPP pockets at Sibu voters' expense, yes. Kow-tow to their political goons and demi-Gods in Putrajaya, yes. All YES. But a big NO to getting the PM to do what is necessary as demanded by Wong of DAP.

Hey Zorro
ReplyDeleteYou siao ah!!! How you can ask Lau to do all these things? He will low sai in front of the PMlah!!
Writing all these on your blog is only hot air if you don't arrange to put people (who have the marbles) in the meet-PM session to ask these questions.
Also, has anyone openly ask Lau to raise these questions with the PM in an open forum???
BRO...
ReplyDeleteDAP, PKR AND PAS COLLABORATED AS ONE IN THE COMING PRK SIBU. AND PAS WITH THEIR ISLAMIC STATE NO BODY CAN DENY THAT. SO IF YOU ALL VOTE FOR DAP IN SIBU PRK ..THEN DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY YOU VOTE FOR ISLAMIC STATE... WHY HASSLE NAJIB ON THIS MATTER????
Sarawakian must think aloud!
ReplyDeleteWhatever Gomen say or forces certain religion or belief, that doesnt mean its population must accept belief. If one has strong faith in certain religion teaching or belief, nothing can force that person to change his belief.
But if ones faith is weak, it wont take money$ to change his/her belief but nice glass of toddy or sexual favors enough to change his mind.
Sarawakian must think positive and think aloud!
ARE WE OFF THE MARK?
ReplyDelete"Oh my goodness!" or "Al-lah-mak!"
So many sensitive matters we can't remark
How can we ever get to reach the mark
Of being a 1st world nation that's so stark?

ReplyDeleteKepala otak engkau, don't you know Malaysia is an Islamic state? Can you not remember 929, the date Mahathir announced malaysia to be an Islamic State?
Are you blind? Don't make a stupid fool of yourself here! Between UMNO Baru and PAS, who is the devil? Who promotes unity and the other disunity? Bodoh punya orang ini! A vote for SUPP is a vote for UMNO Baru!
Who caned the 3 Malay ladies for illicit sex? Where are their male counterparts? Who wanted to cane Kartika for consuming beer? Was it PAS or UMNO Baru? LKS asked in Parliament, to a couple of UMNO Ministers whether they had never never consumed alcohol, and none of them dare to answer but kept their heads low! Bodoh, berambuslah.
Hi Uncle!
ReplyDeleteDid you have a blasting great time in Sibu? During my short work trips there, I simply enjoy the food and above all the people. I hope you and Perisik Rakyat are enjoying every single moment there.
I like Anon 10:59 idea - please 'plant' someone to ask such hot,hot Qs Uncle, please. Having been in many meetings, talks and all, all we need is someone to ask some daring Qs to start others thinking, questioning and talking :)
To Anon 11:21, PAS with its islamic values la. Even with PAS holding its fort in Kelantan, have you ever heard any grouses from non muslims there? Perhaps you may want to learn something from UK Election.
My warmest regards to our brother and sister bloggers there Uncle. May God bless us all.
Hi Uncle
ReplyDeleteSorry to go off-topic.
But here's my contribution to
Malaysian jokes:
****************************
Perkasa: The Malay Rights(tists) Football Club
Patron: Dr Mahathir Mohamed
Captain: Ibrahim Ali Al-Kataki
Goalkeeper: Saiful (“If your shot penetrates his goal, he will sue you”)
Motto: “Don’t play play with us or we will kick you like a kepala lembu”
Colours: Red and White (inspired by UMNO)
Symbol: Oversized, unsheathed keris
HQ: Presently unknown, but probably in the vicinity of the Balinese Palace in Shah Alam
Biggest beef: Did not qualify for 2010 World Cup in South Africa because there was no quota system (it was entirely merit-based)
Finances: Unknown, but probably heavily subsidised by influential politicians
Supporters: Overwhelmingly consist of right-wing Malays and pseudo-Malays (such as Indian Muslims)and and one or two token Chinese Muslim converts
Biggest weakness: Shooting own goals
These so called BN politicians from Sibu are just pawns and leeches for the West Malaysian counterparts.
ReplyDeleteThey just talk but did otherwise. Just look at Sibu, what have the BN done for the last 52+ years? In fact, it got worst economically to say the least. Now you have that new racist party called PERKASA run by a bunch of lazy, corrupted, racialistic, stone age mentality dickheads like that Ib Ali and Mamak kutty to mention a few. This party is just the other side of that UMNO.
If Sarawakians do not wake up and fight back their rights and wealth, they will end up worst off than 3rd world countries.
Stand up and vote DAP/PR/PAS NOW!!!!
Yes indeed PM had announce that Malaysia is an Islamic country...our country federal religion is Islam...
ReplyDeleteBut PAS is different...PAS is the Islamic based party...they want us to follow the islamic lifestyle which the Muslim itself cannot bear what else the other religion...
Just think about it my brothers and sistes...
Memang lah PM dah kata Malaysia negara Islam...negara yang agama persekutuannya adalah Agama Islam...agama yang utama dalam negara...
Tapi kalau
