Change WE Must: We must stand up against what is wrong.

This was how Dr. John Brian Anthony concluded in his blog DayakBaru.com

ITS NOT ALL BAD. WE STILL HAVE ENOUGH FOR BRIBING
THE LONG HOUSES.

He started his post thus:

Taib is giving away Rm$600 to each family of the 246 Dayak long houses doors in Tanjung Penasu, Btu Burak etc. This is on top of the MRP grant announced to 12 long houses in the same area worth Rm$147,600. If this is not vote buying I will have to unlearn my understanding for vote buying. What do you call this act by Taib? Vote buying or simply put, the discretion of the Chief Minister during a buy- election.

Who is responsible for bring “vote buyer” to book? In this case, the SPR is empowered to bring the culprit to court. Do you think that SPR will bring Taib to court? I do not think so. Then do you think that MACC will investigate this action if it is reported to them? I don’t think so. Why???

  3. Take the money for it is your money in the first place, that was stolen from you, by the corrupt government. When it comes to voting, vote what is RIGHT. I hope the people of Sibu can differentiate between what is wrong and right.

  4. Fis-ha....weather hot...political climate hazy, but should improve for DAP. Its unbelievable the DAP machinery compared to PKR in Hulu Selangor.

Transport is only by cab and little chance to go on gastronomical trip to try the local fare. When in difficulty, KFC is the ultimate choice. But beer is cheap at RM4 per can.
Keep all fingers crossed for us.

  5. Halo Zoro,
Good to find your fire in the tummy still burning bright! The vote buying is undoubted-but the way it has been reported is as though a robbery is a gift-that is where it get distorted by the media! I'd pushed reporters to interview observers or legal opinions to clarify the legal point on vote buying. See if anyone will do it first in the mainstream media!
