Top cop is determined to get an extension when his term comes to an end in September. Indiscriminate arrest of people has given him bad press and now made worse when the Home Minister okayed the intrusion of the police at the Perak Assembly. HANTU believes that there is a conspiracy to oust him by his own men and by some BN hotshots. He knows it and thus this broadside as reported by Bernama:
"White collar crime steals the thunder from conventional crime as it potentially affects the financial performance of commercial organisations in the country. As such, issues related to financial crime, fraud and corruption were a major concern to the government," said Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan.
He said white collar crimes or economic crime not only affected the individual victim but it also had a ripple effect on a nation's financial well-being.
"If left unchecked, white collar crimes can bring a negative bearing on the integrity of a nation's financial and business institutions and the capability of a nation's enforcement agencies to regulate and investigate cases of financial irregularities.
"Ultimately it can undermine the confidence of both local and foreign businessmen to invest in the country," he said when opening a Seminar on Forensic Accounting and Financial Criminology at the KL Tower here yesterday.
"Whether blue collar or white collar, criminals go for soft targets. More often than not, criminal acts are crimes of opportunity which are provided for by the victims.
"In the case of white collar crimes, a lack of, weak and poorly monitored and implemented internal control systems, financial procedures and the non-existence of a duty due diligence in business transactions is one of the main factors contributing to the rise in such crimes," he said.
and.......and........and......something that will never happen in Malaysia HERE
Bro Zorro,
ReplyDeleteDefenitly another dirty UMNO ball carrier will replace Musang the Bapak Tangkak Along.Najis and fatty will make sure that.By now fatty would have started looking for the dirtiest crook cop ever to replace Musang.By the way bro whats your opinion about our beloved country blacklisted by the United States for human traficing. Musang should get credit for that.
Why Musang just picked on white and blue collar crimes? Is it because there is a lot of flak about the PKFZ scandal? What has he done about it anyway. Not a whimper about it from him or his sleuths.
ReplyDeleteWhy hasn't he come up with a indepth investigative report about the following:
1. Where is PI Balasubramaniam? Why didn't he contact Interpol to bring him back to the country and face criminal charges for his 2 SDs?
2. What was the result of the investigation (if any) on the missing immigration records of "the one that cannot be mentioned by name"?
3. Why did his UTK boys shoot and use C4 to blow up "the one that cannot be mentioned by name"? Are the UTK guys mentally deranged?
There are many more important things to talk about and this Musang tries to divert people's attention by mentioning white collar crimes.
He is just trying to show how well informed he is to his masters. Another brownie point why his tenure as PIG (Poloice Inspector General) should be extended.
Musang is devious as ever.
The sly fox ( musang) will leave quietly but not until his belly is full of all the ill gotten gains accumulated over the years.... After the fox ( musang), a wolf will replace him. UMNO people aren't worrying cos PDRM are full of these fox characters or even worse... Wolf, vultures, crocodiles etc...These beasts are aplenty to replace the fox. Malaysian are living a curse... UMNO are governing the country and crooks, gangstera nd amfia are controlling the law enforcement... Malaysian!...Say Thank You to ...Mahadey!
ReplyDeleteThis p o s should be flushed down the toilet. He makes me puke.
ReplyDeletezorro,
ReplyDeletehe's a pal of UMNO. no way jose they will put him on the altar as sacrificial lamb. he has done well in Perak with the way they drag Siva out of the august house. and this musa also has enough evidence to nail the entire cabinet. at the end of the day, its "i scratch your back, u scratch mine".
The police can't even bring back MP Liz Wong's photographer or purposely do not want to since he might expose the 'master'....
ReplyDeleteTun Haniff is still the BEST IGP the country ever have, its sad we dont have another good guy for so long.
ReplyDeleteMost likely is that the cretin is giving a warning to the towkays in the private sector to dish out a retirement plan for him or else....
ReplyDeleteAnd a crate of 'royal salute' says that it'll be on the directors' board of several public listed companies after retirement.
Any takers?
Musa is saying not in so many words, "I only make millions you guys want to make so much noise. You guys make billions what".
ReplyDeleteIt is all about who has who's balls in their hands and who's balls are the softest.
Shalom Admiral Tojo
Their "succession planning" in that force is just too amazing!
ReplyDeletebecause the stake is so HIGH and the cake is so delicious!
Who or which agency is licensed to kill & rake huge "$$$ wang ehsan" from the under-world of illicit business.
if one understands...yes you need not agree to the immoral illicit businesses..how much is the business volume of:-
-drugs
-back-lane lottery/4-Ds
-KTV Lounge/recreation centre/Bars
-fire arms
-pirated DVDs
- you name it....
just a 5% cut from the top line to be shared among top guns...and the mata-mata will get peanuts...worse still face the consequences of MACC if caught accepting a RM1,000.00 bribe...hahaha
People know about it, but what can be done as the circle is so solid for years!
Aiyaaa.... Unca Zorro !
ReplyDeleteHe's just trying to show his "intellegence" lah......!!!
At least he "NOW" knows what Interpol will do & not do mah..........................
That's why he's got the highest police position...!!
Moreover he's "guarding" Malaysia.
Malaysia is soo.... famous now with international "ratings" !!!!
Right...........???
Musang and the other top mata-mata in all the states are the ones raking in from all the illegal businesses and laughing all the way to the banks.
ReplyDeleteThe UMNOputras and the towkays in MCA and Gerakan also do not care because they too are getting away with a lot of loot from projects such as the PKFZ.
The only idiots are the small-time mata-mata who settle for peanuts from traffic offenders and petty thieves. There are also such morons at the MCA, GERAKAN and MIC grassroots level who do not understand how much of their wealth is siphoned off by the towkays. All these parasites care for is the little that they are given to suck. Such poor suckers.
Only way to get rid of these leaches, parasites and mafia goons is to teach the UMNO/BN a very painful lesson in the 13th GE.
Once in power, go after all these vermins and haul them up to the courts of justice which by then should be what a responsible judiciary should be.
Uncle Z,
ReplyDeleteYa, I notice that many people are not happy with Musa and the police force. Close yours eyes for a minute.Much as we hate our police, can we totally do without them for 24 hrs-nation wide??? Don't say 24 days,..la. Pose this question and I would like to see a feed-back. That would be interesting. If the people can do without the police, then are they agreeable to form nation-wide vigilante corp??? If the people can experience that period of 24 hours without the police and no law and order - perhaps they will be screaming for God's help. How I wish to see this 'experiment' takes place since they hated the police so much. The comments coming from the readers is if the whole country can do without a police force. No harm, try it out. I would like to see what happens. This is to be fair to both sides, people and the police.
Linesman, did this posting say that the police force is not a necessity. If you have been following my blog I have repeatedly say that the police are the lowest paid agency in the forces. I have given examples of how I reward police officers who summoned me with humming and hawing. Have you not read that I appreciate their role as they are the only one in the forces who are targets of criminals as they patrol our streets. You know where they learnt how to accept or fish for bribes? From their bosses. If you remember I was arrested in Ipoh on 7 May. I did not resist as I know that the cop was ordered to arrest me. I know that cops have to follow orders. It is how they put bread on the table. But I do not condone graft in their ranks...especially the superiors.
ReplyDeleteThis posting is about not allowing MUsa to get an extension. If you are a player instead of being the linesman, you might probably get a better sense of what this post is all about. Thanks for visiting.
Correction:

Bro,
ReplyDeleteEveryone loves to see present IGP goes as he is deemed to be 'busuk'.
Try getting an angel, please. Z, have you or the people got any candidate in mind?
He can't even address the so call blue collar crimes, where will he find the intelligence of handling white collar crimes.
ReplyDeletePut RPK as the IGP la..ops...But although he has a little strain of 'blue blood' and professing righteousness and justice - he also will be corrupted just like the others. He is no angel too. If the devil can tempt Adam who is RPK after all.The show will just go on and the world will continue to evolve. Don't everyone knows that corruption is just like prostitution- can control but can't eradicate? Haniff Omar was no saint either - perhaps more subtle and more discreet, that's all. At that time perhaps the people and the blogging blokes were sleeping then. Many thanks to Pak Lah, Anuar Ibrahim and TDM that triggers the peoples' awakening. If not, musa will just continue to run the show as his predecessors.Musa is just wrong timing. Salam bro!
