Yes, Lucia whacked me hard in that dream. But I am not pressing sexual harassment charges against her because it was just a dream and I brought it upon myself.....when you promise something or if a lady knows that you can deliver....it is best you keep that promise and deliver. Lucia reminded me many times , and always politely, as is her way, to spread around the MARFEL talk on 24 February.
Hey, you Penang Langs....you want a change? Then go volunteer.....go attend the talk. If you do not want change, then best you step aside for those who want change. I had my secondary education in SXI but I am not considered as a Penang Lang. I did not work and contribute to Penang, thus I do not qualify as a Penang Lang. Although my late dad and my mother and brother lived there, I am not considered a Penang Lang.....because I only visited Penang as filial duties demanded. Two things (only my observation) characterises Penang Langs. The hardest journey their hands make is to their wallets and they invariably end their tirades against the government with "erm-my charp siau" and yet like the Indians (who will vote MIC....however not this time you bet) they will vote Gerakan. I know I am inviting trouble criticising Penang Langs, but I am not worried....I just kena whacked by Lucia last night....thus this posting. However I think a core group of people in Penang are fighting and welcoming change. I was in Penang with Haris, Tony Yew, SK Thew, Khoo Kay Peng (the latter two uprooted Penang Langs) to organise Bangsa Malaysia and we had about a hundred participants. That speaks volume for an otherwise perceived insular, parochial people. Penang Langs have awakened and got out of bed and I bet they will make a difference on 8 March. For the other Penang Langs who have awakened, but have not got out of bed yet best you do....for your own sakes. Get out of bed and tomorrow attend a public hearing at dewan Sri Pinang on the electoral roll....and if you have proof of the EC doing what they do best - cheating - go make it public.
FOR LUCIA LAI AND ALL THE PENANG LANGS WHO HAVE GOT OUT OF BED I DEDICATE THIS AS A PEACE OFFERING AND ALSO TO SEND A MESSAGE TO THOSE FIVE RCI COMMISSIONERS WITH THIS MESSAGE:
WE ARE ALL LOOKING FORWARD TO A FAIR, BALANCED, CLEAN, UNTUTORED, UNCOERCED, UNTAINTED DECISION.
WE ARE ALL LOOKING FORWARD TO A FAIR, BALANCED, CLEAN, UNTUTORED, UNCOERCED, UNTAINTED DECISION.
I HAVE NOT SOUGHT PERMISSION FROM ALAN PEREIRA, BUT WILL WHEN I MEET HIM AT THE PJ CLUB....SOMETIME.
