TWO PREDICTIONS CONFIRMED.WHAT NOW?

On Tuesday January 15, 2008 I made a prediction that Thaipusam would be declared a national holiday and I gave credit to Hindraf instead of Works Minister for this little gift to the Indian community. But it is not a national holiday! Just crumbs. Read

HINDRAF DID IT! SYABAS,SYABAS,SYABAS!

On Saturday 19 January (my previous posting) I mischievously said that VK Lingam will take the cue from his old buddy who accused him of either being mad or drunk. From Malaysiakini's report this afternoon, it looks like this has happened!

'Questioned by his counsel Thayalan as to why he has no recollection of the events of Dec 20, 2001, Lingam referred to the footage as he responded: "Looking at the video, there are bottles of wine, whisky or brandy, and a bottle of 7-Up. I would have had one too many drinks. It was a drinking session, a celebration, a party. It was more than six years ago, I can't recollect."

Later asked who provided the alcohol, Lingam replied that Loh usually brought "three to six bottles of red wine and one to two bottles of whisky or brandy" during visits to his house.

“He (Loh) insists we drink, so just to accommodate him, we drink,” Lingam said.

Wow, I want to know Mr. Loh .....good way to stock up my depleted bar. After six years Lingam can still remember details like "three to six bottles of red wine and one to two bottles of whisky or brandy".

In my previous posting I also urged the RCI that Lingam's brother Karasu should be called as a witness to establish the "hand over shoulder" relationship between Lingam and Tun (non-chinese)Chin. His lawyer this afternoon say the danger signs. Malaysiakini reported this:

The session then moved to issues related to the admissibility of events prior to the recording of the footage, with Thayalan seeking to expunge all testimony relating to the purported close relationship between Lingam and former chief justice Eusoff Chin.

ANYONE GETTING THE SENSE THAT THE STAGE IS NOW SET FOR THE STAGED ENDING TO THIS VERY unROYAL COMMISSION OF INQUIRY?

GOD SAVE OUR JUDICIARY, PLEASE.....

IF GOD CANNOT SOMEBODY MORE POWERFUL IN MALAYSIA, PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL.

  1. Waah, Zorro. Terror lah , you! Nostradamus also sure lose to you one. Your predictions are spot-on.

But , like you I am kinda worried about this Lingam bloke. He suffers from selective amnesia interpersed with bouts of selective lucidity. I hope subsequent witnesses can cure him of this affliction.

no diff. from a school headmaster declaring a day off after it won a football or a rugby match.

  3. In Tantra, the penis is called the Lingam, which in Sanskrit can be translated as "Wand of Light."

    So in more basic English-
    'Lingam is a prick'

That sounds about right, what say you?

Now to the RCI, there seems to less honesty and truthfulness than one would expect at a Royal Commission of Inquiry.

Little light is being shone on the reality of the video recording, and certain parties are being, what can charitably be called, 'devious' with their answers.

Will the forces of darkness and deception overcome the light of truth, most folks certainly hope not.

Two members of the panel seem to be there only as gnarled deadwood bookends, since to date they have not been reported as saying anything at all.

Is a whitewash on the cards? Perhaps so, watch and wait, we shall soon know.

Bye the way Zorro, did you write the script for this month's news? Your predictions are becoming reality one after the other.

  4. Zorro, it's understandable.
The Commission is appointed by the Executive and I believe the terms of reference are also given by him.
    So, what do you expect?
Besides that, some Commission members were asked to step down because of possible conflict of interests but refused to do so?
Perhaps if others were to replace them the VIP witnesses may not have a walk in the park?
