Our men died with honor, let us continue to honor
their memory, their bravery and their self-sacrifice with dignity. I have
restrained myself from writing about Lahad Datu because our government was
dragging their feet. Too many questionable tales were floating around
cyberspace whilst our leaders seemed to have kept their tails between their
legs. The leaders (in the government) - PM
was too busy with BRIM, KRIM, DRIM and all kinds of RIM; Defence
Minister was undecided on how to airlift our forces into LD and Home Minister reportedly said that the men were neither terrorists, nor militants whilst the whole cabinet was looking for the favorite scapegoat, undoubtedly being Anwar. And our Armed
Forces and Police chiefs were lamely reticent…. waiting for orders when they
should be advising the GOM. Only after the terrorists fired the first shot did
our leaders fly into the conflict area to dislodge their pea-shooting politically
manufactured rants. But I was particularly incensed with what this Gen
Zaini, the Fraud of Sauk, commented in the early days of the conflict. I am
glad that Blogger KTEMoc gutted this racist guy who unashamedly accepted the
Bravery Medal (SP) when all the groundwork was done by ASP Razak. HERE
What next? Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told reporters: "We will ensure that no Filipino terrorists escape from our dragnet and we want them dead or arrested," he told reporters. This is a hateful and vindictive rant. Of course, the mutilation of our fallen Malaysians is despicable and cannot be accepted. But are we on a tit for tat trip? Will the families of our fallen heroes condone that we might do to them what they did to our boys? Article 3 of the Geneva Convention must be observed if we want to come out of this conflict admirably with our heads held high in honor of our fallen brothers and their loved ones. This much they deserved.
Don't you get it? 1 month of time wasted by the UMNO goons dealing with low-life Sulus (in the UMNO goons' eyes) when these UMNO goons should be using the time to carma.
ReplyDeleteElection coming, them UMNO goons are very focused on taking whatever they want before the gravy train runs dry.
Bro Z, It is a known fact and most of the PDRM and ATM personnel knows the true story of how this shameless guy Ex-Lt.Gen Zaini Said got his SP gallantry award. I was told that this Zaini fellow is very thick-skinned making a fuss of his presence at the yearly Hari Pahlawan Celebration 31 Jul. It seems ASP Abd. Razak refused to talk to him at the venue and he (Zaini) feels 'malu' looking at him in the eyes cos Razak and others knows how he undeservely got the SP. Zaini went storming into the militant camp at Sauk with a full platoon of his 'storm-troopers'after Razak had already got the group to surrender.Zaini then got into a heated argument with the leader and a shot was accidentally let-off during a struggle. For that 'piece of shit action' he was given the SP. If I were in his shoes I would feel ashamed to receive it. What was that so brave or gallant about? But he tadak malu punya and thinks people don't know the actual story.Really no dignity at all. Just to be polite many do not want to embarrass him in front of others by asking him the true story of the Sauk incident. I will try to get the full story from the 'horses mouth' and post to you for all to know.
ReplyDeleteVAT69 Combatant, thanks. We look forward to more specifics on this fraud Zaini.

Conspiracy Theory: Against the background of Tun Mahathir Mohamad’s Project IC, some theorise that the Sulu militants are part of the BN government’s plot to enfranchise more foreigners. The talk of the militants coming to claim land offered to them, claimed by Filipino sources, fuelled this line. Another variant pursues the possibility that the crisis was manufactured to either frighten the Sabahans to vote BN or to generate patriotic sentiments which BN may ride on. Alternatively, this could be used to justify an emergency in Sabah. The traditional media accusing the opposition leaders of triggering the crisis adds credibility to this variant of conspiracy theory.

MEJ NOR IBRAHIM RMAF – THE CRUSADER - http://mindnoevil.blogspot.com/2011/03/mej-nor-ibrahim-rmaf-crusader.html
“…The Bukit Jenalik/Sauk incident is to me an act undertaken by a group of criminals that has made national heroes of six individuals; two being recipients of the gallantry award of SP, and the remaining four, the PGB. I am told that not a single shot was fired at the criminals, and I suppose this must be the reason why the six were awarded the nation’s highest award for valour.
In the case of Bukit Kepong where 18 of our policemen and including 4 police dependents were killed and burned, not a single person was awarded; not even the lowly rated KPK…”

Cheers.
Zorro,
ReplyDeleteYes, on the A.Kadir Jasin article it smells of racism and published for sole purpose to cause unease among the majority Bumiputra security personnel. It's most unfair and unethical of him. But at least blogger KTemoc gave a well rebuttal of the issue. He had done his home-work.Syabas to him.To up-date KTemoc's list of non-bumi personnel who also gave their ultimate sacrifice in performance of duty are:-
1. SB detective Kpl. Gan of Tampoi Police Station who was ambushed and shot 5 times at the Tampoi wet market in late 1975.
2. SB detective Foo Keat Wee of Paloh Police Station, Kluang, Johor who was ambushed and shot in the back 2 times when he went to buy biscuits for his children at a sundry shop just opp the Paloh Police Station in mid 1975.
3. SB detective Sgt Lee of Sg Siput(U), Perak who was shot dead in a coffee-shop in that small town in 1974.
4. SB detective Kpl.Chew of Ipoh Dist Hqtrs, who was ambushed and shot dead in Kg. Tawas out-skirt of Ipoh town.
So, I hope Minister of Defence Zahid and Kadir Jasin will also take note of these sacrifices which had not been mentioned earlier. I will print more if my memory does not on and off fail me. Anyway, these are not fairy-tales as anyone can check with the past police/SB records. I know as I happen to be around during those difficult times. May their souls Rest in Peace.
Bernard,
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing this article somewhere on Sauk Incident where my ex-colleague DSP Abd. Razak
who went in to negotiate with militant rebel leader Mohd.Amin. He told me the details of what happened
and that this Zaini when everything was settled and the militants had decided to surrender went into the
camp with his group of army commandos and armoured vehicles. As a result of this, mayhem nearly took
place if not for the quick intervention by Abd. Razak again. Read about it and tell me whether Zaini
deserve an SP. This is published for all to know and NOTHING secretive or classified. I remember
this was published in conjuction with a coverage under the title, " Heroes in Blue" where all those SP
n PGB recipients of PDRM were interviewed on their achievements in winning the much coveted SP
gallantry award. No bull-shit or any "padding" done to getting it. The full series was published weekly
to honor our real war heroes. If you are interested for more, please let me know n I try to look for it in
the NST past issues.
Another VAT69 combatant.
The above come in via email.
ReplyDeleteAS to the awarding of SP n PGB or any other gallantry awards, there are very stringent criteria in its qualification and specifically mentioned on paper.
ReplyDeleteBut sad to say, some are based on "connected n political" criteria if you know what I mean.As for one case I know of,his actions were never near those 'marks' of an SP award. If you don't believe me please ask around the Vat 69 and ATM people who are in the KNOW. Not those bodek ones or emotional ones. Go to the truth of it. "lembu punya susu, sapi dapat nama". Sorry, I am not here to belittle anyone for that matter. This is my personal opinion basing on my findings and in-depth knowledge of actually what took place in Jenalik. There are still many witnesses who are alive today to testify on this incident. The write-up must have been beautifully 'done up' to its required qualification for an SP.
Again, in this incident as one commentator stated 'no shots being fired', I beg to defer. Shots were fired but by the militants. Regardless of whether shots needed to be exchanged in an encounter for qualification of an SP or PGB is NEVER the criteria. It is the danger and level of risk involved in the encounter that really matters. Is the action 'beyond the call of duty' that carries the weight of the award of SP or PGB. There are cases I know that no shots were fired in some operations but the SP was awarded because of the highly sensitive and risky nature of the operation itself. And it was a not 'one go' type of operation but for a long period of time. So, such covert operations may not incurred any shots being fired but more than qualify for an SP many times over. Anyway this exclusive 'club' of SP and PGB are so few in numbers, we can expect many, many more as a result of LD.No?
Bro, is it not this Lahad Datu incident can be categorize as civil war as most if not all of the so called "Filipino terrorist" carries valid Malaysian ICs with voting rights? Are we supposed to grief for the "other side" as well?
ReplyDeleteI am sure the "other side" would also have waiting brides and crying mothers.
Cheers,
Najib thinks that he can fool all of us by playing with his alphabets breakfast cereal games created by expensive consultants and implemented by incompetent fools he call personal advisers. He doesn’t seem to know where he’s heading like a headless chicken and dragging the country and the rest of us with him. Not kicking out the BN is no longer an option we can take. Another fives years with the BN will finish us financially. Some of us may have to send our children to Indonesia as maids in a reversal of fortune.
ReplyDeleteLast nite TV3 Conversation with PM did not address these questions pertaining to the Sabah intrusion:
ReplyDelete1.Why didnt the government put in more security measures in the East Coast of Sabah when there have been so many cases of kidnappings and killings by the foreigners?
2.Why did the government give out thousands of ICs to these foreigners under Project IC as has been revealed through the ongoing RCI hearings?
3.Why was the invasion not even detected by our intelligence and security forces?
4. Why did the government initially treated these terrorists with kid's gloves and say they are not terrorists or militants?.
5.Why send in the police first when it was an external invasion by an army that wants to lay claim to Sabah?
