BE AFRAID UMNO, BE VERY AFRAID BN!

The night before 112 I was so pumped up that sleep was difficult after a seafood feast at Jalan Alor with Boom, Rodi, Lillian, Bill, Nordin Manan, Sharom, Duke and Bruce. The latter two were totally smashed when they joined us back at Classic Inn. They were warming up to 112 at Bitch Beach Club and Thai Club, so they claimed. Howeve, all claimed that I behaved myself…..keeping to only 2 beers!

At 1130 we set out for KL112. The heat and humidity after a slight drizzle really drained me but seeing the wave upon wave of participants filtering into Merdeka Stadium was inspiring! It was tsunamic! THIS IT IS!

I had numerous SMS asking if I was OK and where was I seated. I was 10o’clock across the Grand Stand on the VI side and told them to remain where they are as I am well taken care of by my minders, Boom, Esther Lee, Claire, Duke,Rodi, Bruce and Wong. INI KALI LAH!

In appreciation for those who could not be at 112 and those off-shore Malaysians, who have no access to the Historic Peaceful Uprising, here is a LINK to Malaysiakini live feed. To Malaysians holding their own peace rally in Jordon, Sydney and Auckland, WE SALUTE YOU PATRIOTS.

JUST TWO COMMENTS FROM THE HEART
Guna Otak Sikit: This is an historic day - a ‘Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah' day. The rakyat are standing up to a government.
Remember the deaths of Ahmad Sarbaini, A Kugan, Aminulrasyid Amzah, Teoh Beng Hock, Altantuya Shaariibuu, the corruption of the Scorpene submarines, Bank Bumiputera, the cincins and the Birkins, the RM40 million Sabah case, the National Feedlot Corporation, Puspahanas, the illicit outflow of funds, the cheapskate weddings using the rakyat's money, the Election Commission (EC) behaving like an Umno division, the endless tolls, the poor quality cars on the roads, the Automated ‘Enrichment Scandal' (AES), the piratisation of the country's assets (ports, postal service, highways, water, sewerage service, power), and the misuse of Petronas funds to bail out individuals, etc.
Endless list of scandals. This is the day of the rakyat's power.
3rdEye: I participated in Bersih 2.0 and Bersih 3.0 but stayed at home yesterday although I was very free. Why? I felt Pakatan has to get their act right. They must not abuse the goodwill of the rakyat like the BN has all this while.
They must not think that we hate BN means that we have to love Pakatan blindly. I love Nurul Izzah Anwar, Rafizi Ramli, Tony Pua and Mohamad Sabu, but I dislike Azmin Ali and the Ngeh cousins.
Basically, I feel that for the KL112 rally, they have not put in enough effort and expect great success. I don't want to help breed such a culture.

  1. Glad to know you had a great day. Did the lady pictured in your earlier post attended the rally? I was looking out for her but she was nowhere to be seen.

  6. This rally must be telling the scumbags and parasites in Umno that Malaysians oppositions are peaceful and responsible people. Thus capable of running a good government, owing to some last minute emergency I was unable to attend, but it looks like it would have made the crowd looked any smaller.
Can't Najib hear what the ten of thousands of Malaysians just from K.L. are calling him to do, or is he pretending to be deaf or is he not the P.M. of these people who attended and does he want more rallies throughout the country ?

  7. Dear Bro Zorro,

In the absence of police brutality and pro-BN saboteurs's provocation, wasn't yesterday a good day for the hundreds of petty traders selling drinks and food? That must be their best takings for a long time! They must be beaming from ear to ear. Good on them!

    Lagi satu rapat umum, PR?

  8. what happened to IPF's counter rally on the same day? The so-called tikus of a party President boasted he will rally 12,000 for his rally?

nothing happened from his end! it was like farting in the wind.

some people look smart until they open their mouth. That's why light travels smarter than sound!

  9. to Hussein Abd. Hamid,
yes...you can still use the same header.....only add Be afraid, be very afraid all you politicians of both divides....be very afraid of the RAKYAT ! If ever anyone in PR thinks they can take us for a ride, think again. We, the rakyat can take on the Almighty BN....we can also take on PR with just as much gusto. So PR don't even dream of trying to fuck around with us...the RAKYAT !And if they did, the wake up and apologise pronto. Let this be fair warning to all. We have had enough of politicians and their bullshit.

  11. People argue whether 50,000, 100,000, 200,000, 300,000, 400,000 or 500,000 attended the Big Bash.

Stadium when overfull takes 130,000 ppl. Add 70,000 at stadium car park. Add 50,000 on road leading to Chin Woo. 100,000 near Jln Sultan/Petaling Street/Pasar Seni. Add another 150,000 sana sini sebab mahu jatuhkan Gomen

    There you have it, 500,000

  13. It is not the big or small figures at play. To me KL112 is a success is because the people have come to tell the Govt... enough is enough!! Added to this I congratulate both the participants and the PDRM for maintaining their sense of goodwill in making the rally such a big success. It was the same feeling I had when I was there in 1957 shouting "merdeka...Merdeka...." along with our 1st & most respected PM Tungku Abd. Rahman.

  14. Hi Zorro,

It was a huge carnival of excited, friendly and hopeful comrades of all races looking forward to a better future for our beloved MALAYSIA.

    Awesome...simply awesome.

In Thailand, people of the same race in reds and yellows had violent and fatal clashes.
Yesterday Malaysian comrades from all races in red, yellow, green, orange and other colours came together in a peaceful, successful and historic assembly.

    Awesome...simply awesome.

Thanks a million. De La Sallians think alike. I presume you are one of us.

Bro Felix Donohue was my headmaster at St. Paul's, Seremban from 1970 to 1974. Love this spunky Irishman!

  18. Der Shanghai Stephe3n,
I totally agreed with you. They easily forgotten 2008 when they shouted for change,we delivered and what we expect did not materialised.Corruption, cronism and unfufilled promises now are rampant in PR governed states. The rakyat are not stupid and the situation now is much different from 2008.Aa for HKL 112,why brag about attendance, where were all the Apeks,Indians, majority were PAS supporters even that they walked out as soon as AI took the mike.PR when they open their mouth always brag about road to Putrajaya by capturing more seats but have they plan how to retain the seats that they won in 2008.People used to say defending is more diffucult than winning,so do not be too confident because the big chance will be not happening again.

  19. What a good outing yesterday was and thought I might finally get to meet up with the Z.But was stranded in a sea of humanity on the terraces, left of the podium in the stadium. All good and even had a chance to practice my rusty BM with a coupla' young activists from Penang, seasoned vets from the BERSIH trilogy!

To the Ketuanan UMNO Melayu, we do not give a shit how you want to think. All I can say, UMNO peeled dicks, you are fcuked!...come 13thGE

  21. Who cares about the crowd size, whether it’s 45,000 or 250,000 but you can't deny it's the love for country and passion in supporters and participants that matters!

Those BN morons have came out with a 'doctored' pix of Stadium Merdeka with people on stadium's rooftops, to discredit Pakatan/organisers.

Pics don't lie - the amazing crowd was too good to be true, yes the sea of people from all walks of life, color and creed coming together says it all and the beauty of it was, they weren't BN's kind of 'rent-a-crowd'!

    Thank you folks!

  22. Bro Z, I want to tell the people that this GE13 is our last chance and hope for a revival of our beloved country called MALAYSIA. If we missed it, God Help Us All!

    Jom Pantau PRU13!!!

    请大家寫email 去投訴mailto: wecare@astro.com.my

  25. The root cause of why Umno continue to believe in their own bullshit is because they have unfairly gerrymandered the electoral boundaries and as a result, the actual sentiment of the majority of Malays are distorted and skewed by a minority of Malays.

  26. If the government controlled media gives fair coverage to Pakatan Rakyat why should anyone take to the streets. Malayisa is no better than any dictatorship.

I would frankly ask Mahathir to state his honest views about UTUSAN, STAR, NST, BERITA HARIAN, TV3, RTM, BERNAMA and other BN contolled PUBLIC MEDIA. All these print and electronics media works for a regime that wants to bury the truth, distort information and lie in public to appease the government. So what choice do the public and opposition have?

Dr. Mahathir should also answer whether it is proper to CHEAT the VOTERS to cling on to power? Is there level playing field for the opposition?
