During a 2007 forum on NO BUY NO LIES, an initiative to boycott the Main Stream Media, I happened to sit beside The Scribe A KADIR JASIN at the KLSelangor Chinese Assembly Hall. He remarked on the No Buy No Lies Tee I was wearing, “I still buy them as I have cats at home….and the newsprint sheets turned up useful!” Coming from a personage who helmed the NST until replaced by Kalimulla, it certainly was a cut to the quick.
SO, has the NST slided down to join Utusan in its gutter residence?
SEEMS SO HERE.
Real scoop huh, replacing SCIENTOLOGY with ISLAM. Such a disgusting and cheap shot…..and on WORLD PRESS FREEDOM DAY!
Dang, I can’t hold back…… not a time to be civil!
LANCHEOW!
Zorro,
ReplyDeleteElection is nearing and BN has pressed the panic button. All controlled Media have been given the instruction to spin lies and they have to think of all kind of dirty lies to slander the opposition. Not only the media are rotten to the core, the police ,mayor and whoever BN control have gone BAD. Is there no hope for Malaysia?
I give you my 100% Vote sir. And I remember Kadir Jasin too. A humble, simple man with profound thoughts and vision who was waylaid.
ReplyDeleteToday I am in all black - yes we have to resurrect a crippled media and spinless chietains who work only for money.
And on my way to work I spotted quite a number of people in black too. We exchanged honks of acknowledgement.
Has PDRM any plans to arrest all those wearing black today? Or maybe the Home Minister is toying with the idea of banning black too?
Keep up the heat wave sir. We will together TRANSFORM the nation for better times tomorrow.
when he was still with nst several years, he called lim kit siang a dinosaur. those were the days 'u must not oppose' party was almighty and the scribe was a tad too cocky as he was in the employ of the paper that was and still is owned by 'u must not oppose'party.
ReplyDeletewho has the last laugh now? guess which party is going to be the fossiled dinosaur of malaysian politics?
remember the wise saying that one should never count the chickens until they are hatched?
jutter? dont you mean gutter bro?

ReplyDeleteHi Zorro,
ReplyDeleteIn their online report on the kidnapped boy, Nayati, NST claims that the boy was rescued by the police whereas the police acknowledged that the boy was released due to ransom payment. NST claims the police picked the boy whereas the police acknowledged that the parents picked him up. NST = Never Say Truth...shameless
Hi Zorro,
ReplyDeleteIn their online report on the kidnapped boy, Nayati, NST claims that the boy was rescued by the police whereas the police acknowledged that the boy was released due to ransom payment. NST claims the police picked the boy whereas the police acknowledged that the parents picked him up. NST = Never Say Truth...shameless
They also spin the return of Nayati to the family by saying he was rescued by police whereas fact is parents paid ransom and kidnappers released him,,,NST = never say truth....shameless!!
ReplyDeletethis serve NST right... I hope they got sue and foudn guiltY!
ReplyDeleteUMNO & lapdogs can only get worse by the day.
ReplyDeleteVery good, I like it

Lancheow indeed. Nst.....ha...
ReplyDeletei still cannot believe that these feckers thought they could get away with replacing Scientology for Islam in Xenophon's speech just to further their sick(understatement really) collective cause!
ReplyDeleteNST has just added a whole new degree to stupidity. I sincerely hope Xenophon will sue the pants of these feckers. Feck the apology, the word means diddly squat to these morons.
That Kadir, the original purveyor of lies, deceit and shameless propaganda in the NST, made the statement is testament to the depths the NST has sunk into. NST, the paper that shaped generations of Malaysians, is now consigned to the dustbin of notoriety.
ReplyDeleteDear Uncle Zorro
ReplyDeleteSenator Xenophon was the spokesperson for the international observer team who came here to witness Bersih 3.0
The team is going to release its official report soon.
So, it was a nasty attempt to discredit him.

Good day Zorro,
ReplyDeleteDo not be fooled by the scribe's seemingly intelligent and sincere remarks. He was merely trying to be in your good book. He is the same man he was when he was riding high and licked and worshipped the grounds umno politicians walked on. His recent writings even amplify his myopic view of the world portrayed by the umno goons. He has twisted sense of justice and brain the size of a pea. If he has such a small piece of greyish blue matter how can he reason well and possess the capability to comprehend issues beyond the limit of his shrinking brain! The man is a dud!
beg your pardon uncle....but they are spinning FROM the gutter...
ReplyDeleteKadir is more than a dud. He brain is smaller than a pea. I worked under him for 20 years. Boy, he made sure the NST ended up in the gutter. In hindsight, I am still wondering how an illiterate like him rose to become NST No 1, joining the exalted ranks of Leslie Hoffman, Lee Siew Yee. Imagine Kadir sharing the same page as these greats. Enough said, the very mention of his name makes ex-NST staff puke.
ReplyDeletezorro - apparently nst in their haste to publish stories damaging to the opposition were hoodwinked into using a story which was altered before it was sent to them.....do you believe that?
ReplyDelete
