I AM OFF FOR A STIFF ONE at ol’ skool OVER THIS!

  1. Bernard, this is not the first time. Last year, MPSJ got involved in other "moral" issues - threatening to withdraw licences of alcohol-selling premises which employ Muslims

  2. They have nothing better to do. Uncle, careful, you may also be caught for nursing your drink. That is why you should not vote for Pakatan.

  6. As long as the City or Town mayor is not elected into office but appointed by the bn feds.
The rate payers have no say in what they do.
Pakatan Rakyat or SElangor govt can only control the left hand but not the right hand.
It is one of the issue Raja Petra mentioned. ABU is deeper than just kicking out umno.

  11. But I thought corruption and kleptocracy is so much worst than close proximity. The former wreak havoc in society and the rakyat. The latter may at worst, result in 2 consenting people, well, if they are cheating on their spouses, family upheaval.

Maybe I am wrong. Maybe these raiders are much wiser than me.

For me, everyday is a Valentine's Day with my partner and I pray these wise people will not arrest me just because so.

Have you read the announcement ... Tan Sri Hassan Marican will head Singapore Power.

    Isn't that a bloody slap on Najib ... Malaysia's #1 oil-man joining our neighbour.

  13. Zorro,
We all know it's a ploy to disrupt the Pakatan government in Penang and Selangor.

The actions taken agitate people. How come no raids in other states Pahang, Johore, Trengganu, Perak etc.

I agree with Khun Pana aka Johanssm.

  14. Mais and Jais can be under MB. Even State Secretary and even all the state staffs etc. The MB can only control to a certain extend. The practical solution is that we must change the Federal Government. And if things do not improve there on we will definitely screw them.

Until then I am happy with the present Pakatan Government. I do not look for a perfect government neither do I condone corruptions in any government.

For the bigger dream I will continue to strongly support Pakatan.

Or is there any other formidable party who can take over and run this country better?

  16. No need to get angry with this kaypoh lot.
I rather liked KTemoc's take on the successful VD raids.....at least they "successfully" until Feb 13 next year!

  17. Bernard,

The civil service continues to sabotage the state government. This happens in practically all the councils and district offices. Unless and until the state government can pick its top civil servants, this will continue. Change the Federal government and if this continues, than we can kick PR up their bottom. Until than bear.

  18. Fully agree with Navi and Anon 10.40am."The MB can only control to a certain extend." In fact most of the time,I believe they sabotage by raiding first, without the MB's knowledge.
Next Valentine, set up a trap for them. Get an officially married couple to wait for them to raid, fully dressed.
Then, sue them for a big sum, for intruding privacy.

  19. Navi and Anon1040,

I am fully aware that it is the civil servants that are sabotaging the efforts of the Pakatan states.

My question is "Why is MBPJ involved? They can raid outlets because of licensing. Since when have they turned snoops. I want the Mayor to answer to the MB, because the MB can answer for himself having brought the religious dept. under his wing.

A father loves his kid but that does not mean he cannot reprimand his kid. It is ABU for me, but i will whack Pakatan for missteps.

  20. Sorry ye, all this has nothing to do with all you kafirun. As the Quran says in Surah Al Kafirun "To you be your religion and to me my religion. Enough said. So dont la jaga tepi kain orang. We dont kacau you with your festivities, you keep out of of moral obligations. Simple to understand.

  21. UMNO needs bogeymen to keep its spoon-fed and perpetually-disabled, rent-seeking supporters in check ...just in case they start thinking critically and leave the reservation. So internally it is DAP, PAS, AI, the bukan bumiputra, the chinese businessmen, while externally they have the Jews, Israel and whenever it is convenient, western values... whatever that means. Mahathir, who used to be a master in creating bogeymen (George Soros, LKY) is still at it despite the fact that everyone knows how he arranged for his secretly-paid, jew-brokered trip to meet George W Bush... who he then labelled 'war criminal'. Mahathir, like his bleeding red creation, Proton, is so full of defects.

thanks for that. I hope they will give the respect where it dues. We have obligation toward our religion and community and nothing offence them.
Now, that they are interfering into our ‘in-house’ business, then you said the warning and lets hope they will not cross the line further..
