SAK ON SATURDAY.

“But let me say some nice things about Najib. Najib is a personable fellow and if you get close enough to him, you will have to be a black-hearted person NOT to like him. But that is as far as I can go. He is a nice and a personable fellow,” said Datuk Sak.

I concur on this….nice and personable. I remember him not wanting to be in the VIP box during a Pahang/Selangor Malaysia Cup Final. He preferred to be with those on the grand stand below the VIP enclosure. He was then with that exceedingly ravishing first wife. Both did not want to go into the VIP room for refreshments during half-time and when I volunteered, as was my duty then, to bring them their drinks both refused graciously.

He was nice and personable, yes.

But we do not need leaders who are only nice and personable. Nice and personable are all desirable traits we all aspire to. But a leader needs more than just that. We need an effective leader who will not be cowed and ape the suspect ways of his predecessor(s)! We do not need a leader who thinks he can toy with us the rakyat with his childishly comedic “you help me I help you” baits. If he is not with the rakyat, he is against us. We don’t need a leader who espouses moderation in an international forum but shows a pusillanimous streak when it comes to handling Perkasa and his own Malay First and Malaysian Second Deputy. We definitely do not need a leader who is not his own master!

Anyway, that is the leader I want, a leader who is not led by the nose by some sawdust caesars! Now go ahead and read what Datuk Sak has to say……HERE

  1. Never met but heard of his first wife. I am surprised he traded in "ravishing" for "ravenous"!

  8. Everyone, especially the P.M. may appear to be nice and personable but that is besides the point. The most important thing is the kind of policies he implement. Above the kind of cabinet members he appoint, remember they are the reflection of what the P.M. is !
He keeps talking about the different kind of policies they implement when the truth is he is the leader and if they are implementing the wrong policies, ultimately he is responsible. Everyone including the P.M. knows all the atrocities the grand son of the pariah, the shenanigan Mahathirr has committed. He too must have known all that, yet he hasn't the courage to have him indicted or is the P.M. trying to tell us he condones what he has done. Not only that he even went along with all his actions and have his useless 2nd son of the ex P.M. appointed as the assistant minister.
He talks of transforming Umno but so far what has he transformed ? He must be blind not to see the corruptions that are going on, or may be there is not much he can do about them. As he needs their support within Umno to stay on as their president and thus as P.M., this is not the kind of P.M. Malaysia or any country needs.
Just look at the empty and false promises he has made thus far since becoming the P.M..
Just like what he is advised to do, he does not need to keep dishing out all the goodies before the election just pick up enough of courage and have the shenanigan Mahathir indicted. He will surely win the coming election hands down !

  9. we should just say it without beating around the bush

Najib is unfit to hold high office, anywhere. He has no qualities worth talking about, other than being a good Engrish speech reader

He can be a good PR fellow, maybe

  10. Nice doesnt do it in politics. Yes Tengku Puteri is a 10 while Rosmah is a 5. She's elegance personified. Aunty Ros is a tub of lard.
