GERARD S VIJAYAN ASKS:

“Apart from the national flag and the royal standard, other flags and banners are not protected under the law. So why is the university (UPSI) bending over backwards to accommodate Umno?

Elementary, my dear Gerard. It reflects the QUALITY of the administrators.

But WHY so prevalent in our BN government tertiary institutions?

Can this be the answer?

SO WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT THIS MALADY?

ABU?

  1. I did not watch the video of him lowering the flags, but did see the one that someone climb over fences and shout. Somehow I feel the action is not acceptable and intend not shown clearly. Just shout and ganas, like PDRM. Maybe Gandhi methods could be better. I cannot support this guy. Else in future, anyone with objection will start acting like this and country will go out of control. There must be a limit.

  2. The young man was just demonstrating his abhorrence of the personality (more like the lack of it)cult. It is simply not acceptable & he had the youthful courage to do what many were only thinking about andpossibly doing mentally.

  5. Why are our education people stooping so low as to fly a flag with the PM's face? Whouldn't that be idolising / worshiping?

    It's not unusual to have photos of the king and queen and the PM in certain places, e.g. but to fly a flag with Najib's face on it ... wouldn't that be against Islam ... i.e. to idolise / worship a person in such manner? I mean, really!

    Besides, it's such bad taste, repulsive ... I would have Steve Job on the flag anytime

  6. Its not a flag but rather his face on a piece of rag.
    umno can only initiate trespassing against the student .
    Unless upsi is umno .

    I have a strange suggestion for future Bersih 3.0
    In fact there are some commentators from elsewhere wrote the same idea too.
    What if the future Bersih rally we turns it into a community cleaning up affair. Sort of Gohtong Royong.
    This way we serves the public, all ages can take part , non political , gets to wear bright yellow Tees , able to use multiple loud speakers etc.Full support from all communities, DBKL, Alam flora etc. Only the cops and drug addicts will hate us.
    Gets to yell out BERSIH every minute and the pigs ( slang for cops) cant do anything about that.

  11. Zorro, I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't seem to get my head that far up my ass. How about if someone just walk into your fathers’ grave yard and pull out the tombstone just because the ugly picture on it.
    Come on, it’s a private property; you can’t say it’s ok to do that? Will you teach your grandson to do the same? I am not pro Umno either but this is an act of a barbarian and supporting it just make you guys nothing lesser.
    Zorro, personally would you do the same? NO? why not? Could becoz of 2 things;
    You think it’s not right to do or is it about your balls? Other than that 2, is pure hypocrisy!
    I'd like to leave you with one thought, but I'm not sure you have anywhere to put it!
    Anyway here you go;
    When you enjoy insulting others, there will be time you’ll get yours and whatever you plan next, please don’t be a living proof that man can live without a brain.
    I don’t expect you to post this; it’s just a small thought from one human being to a so-so...
