Hell, I wouldn't want the Malaysia my parents had!
My parents were treated like second class pendatang in the land where they were born. They were told again and again that they had no right to be in Malaysia and had to be subservient to bumiputras. They scored good grades in school but were left out of the local universities while their bumiputra classmates who nearly flunked their STPM got places in the local U. In their jobs, they had to report to people who were made managers because of their race, not capability.
