WILL BENEDICT XVI DON YELLOW TOO?

Columnist Terrence Netto advised that Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur, Datuk, opps…..Tan Sri Murphy Pakiam should do a John Foster Dulles in the Vatican. HERE.

“The American secretary of state had declined to be photographed shaking Zhou's (Eng Lai) hand at the conference in a snub that reinforced the Bamboo Curtain which descended between China and the United States following the communist takeover of the mainland in 1949.

It was a gesture that doomed relations between the two countries. It took Henry Kissinger's Ping Pong diplomacy two decades after to start healing the breach. Murphy must avoid being seen in any of the photos that would be taken and circulated of the Pope Benedict-Najib encounter.

Will Monsignor Murphy do it…..not taking part in a photo shoot? It is too late to give the trip a miss, but not too late to give the photo session a miss. How? Diplomatically stay away from the photo take, begging off that he is experiencing some early symptoms of the equally dreaded YELLOW FEVER (HERE)

The Right Reverend Tan Sri Murphy Pakiam has no choice but to heed the equally dreaded MURPHY’S LAW, that what CAN happen will WILL happen. DOMINUS VOBISCUM! The Lord be with you.

+++++

Whilst knocking down a few at Studio 42 last night, a lady friend opined that Murphy Pakiam should be magnanimous enough to give his place to Ibrahim Ali to flush him out from his hiding place to get a Papal Blessing. ET CUM SPIRITUTUO….and with you too!

+++++

Just received a call minutes after posting this. Friend called to warn me that somebody may make a report against me for “religious sedition”. I just shot off a prayer to counter this yellow feverish threat. Pray for me yah?

  6. He can visit the Queen, get blessed by the Pope, see Obama & still have hope....but the fever caused by the yellow hibiscus is benign. Dominus vobiscum Zorro.

  7. Home Minister Kerishammuddin Hussein, where are you hiding? You are supposed to protect your tainted cousin, Najib. Order the police to arrest Queen Elizabeth II for wearing yellow.

    Queen for Bersih? Maybe yes, maybe no (if one wishes to find out, one needs to ask Her Majesty), but it doesn't matter what the answer is.

  8. Uncle Zorro,
    Remember John Paul II....His visit to his native country Poland that spur on the movement called Solidarity. There a new leader called, Lech Walasa rose challenged the communist party leading to its demise

  10. Dear God,

    Make my day a blessed one and make the Pope wear Yellow on that fateful day.

    As for the Archbishop of KL, please please let him stay in bed because of diarrhoea.

  14. The pope is a politician just like Najis, he cares nuts about democracy, human rights and justice.

    In fact, let us not forget how the current pope had a hand in sweeping under the carpet the cases of child abuse by paedophilic priests.

  15. Dear Holy Father, for I have sinned. I wish to confess to all the deeds that I had done over the past 50 years. My confession shall remain confidential until the end of days.
    Now, are the story in DaVinCi code for real?

  16. There is 1 thing that really bothers.
    Why a religious leader need to have such "honourary" datuk or tan shit titles . Such titles are not valid in either heaven or hell .
    Sorry if this is out of the topic.

  17. IMHO, a religious leader should have declined titles like Dato and Tan Sri to start. With such titles, he is obligated for other reasons which might affect his religious leadership. Maybe, I am influenced by humility as practised by Buddhists.

  18. Khun Pana/Kosong Cafe, totally agree with both of you about religious people accepting honorifics. Goes against the virtue of humility that all religions espouse. In other words, hypocrisy invariably creeps into their ministry and way of life.

  20. TBH, Sarbani, Aminulrasyhid, Kugan and the latest Baharuddin Ahmad – they represent a systematic breakdown of government. Its not simple imperfections, flaws, weaknesses, or even problems to be fix. Its literally a manifestation of a larger system that not only do not do what its suppose to do, it does what its NOT suppose to do.

    In other words, we have a system that DO NOT WORK whose complete failure is eventual. It has not completely failed simply because we have been fortunate, lucky. But take that luck for granted and WE WILL BE PAYING FOR IT if we don’t do anything..

  21. The Pope, like Queen Elizabeth II before, must wear yellow to show Jibbi that his 1Malaysia is a lie.

  23. Overheard an old lady praying in church....Dear Almighty, the last year had been truly tremendously tough and sad for me. See, You have taken my favourite actor, Patrick Swayze, my favourite actress, Farrah Fawcett, and my favourite singer, Michael Jackson. And just FYI, I wanted you to know that my favourite Prime Minister is Najis. Amen.

  24. Yep it's all about humility, self-worth and self-respect. You Catholics now have a carma Archbishop, how pretentious, adding to the list of carma minister, imam/mufti, royalties etc., thanks a term borrowed from Pak Samad Said!

  25. The Vatican’s Guards of Honour should all dressed in yellow when Nagypt comes visiting. We should also have Malaysians and NGO friends in Rome to “greet” him in yellow. Perhaps we should also paint our houses and shophouses in yellow to remind the UMNO controlled BN government and the Pakatan government in waiting that we want a clean (bersih) government

  26. Probe money leaving the county thru illicit means for shopping and merry making by wives of Ministers and other high officials, especially thru money changers. Bank Negara, if it is at all worth it's salt, should probe these and not money given to Ambiga to put things right which corrupt officials have made wrong. Bersih is for the good of the country and just because it is abhorred by UMNO which want to stay in power indefinitely, suddenly something for the good has turned rotten. Beware, you will get your punishment at the next GE whether now or held in 2013, people will not forget.
